Nathan is a great teacher who has really expanded my knowledge is music, I have learned so much! I went from just knowing four chords on guitar to learning how to freestyle. Nathan is a great teacher! You will not regret learning from him. :)
I spoke with John today by phone to set up guitar lessons as a birthday present for my husband. He was easy to talk to and flexible as far as setting up lesson times. I'm excited to have found his help!
Beginner piano lessons. Camee is friendly and low stress! Lots of fun and I've signed up for more lessons.
I took weekly guitar lessons from Matt Kass for six years when he lived in Philadelphia. Matt focuses on teaching you the music you want to learn to play and at a pace that is comfortable to your level of proficiency. He combines instruction on the fundamentals of playing a guitar with the basics of music theory so that lesson time is spent not just on how to play the guitar by why particular chords or notes work together and their relationship to the different modes of the major scale. As a professional musician, Matt is thoroughly knowledgeable about the guitar and music in general but is incredibly personable, thoughtful, reliable and friendly. He is able to tailor his teaching approach to your individual needs and helps you progress at a pace that is appropriate to your skill level. The thing that impressed me the most in Matt's teaching ability was his patience and willingness to help me around obstacles or plateaus in my playing ability. You feel that he is fully invested in your learning and shows a willingness to try different approaches to helping you succeed. I would highly recommend Matt as a guitar instructor. He is a terrific teacher and an excellent musician.
My son has been taking guitar lessons at Cedarstone for two years and we are very pleased with his progress. Kevin always has a way to make music fun, fullfilling, and engaging to transform the student into an accomplished musician. The collective team of instructors at Cedarstone, brings a broad set of musical knowledge and teaching skills that is an absolute treasure. I highly recommend Cedarstone for all your music education endeavors.
Taking lessons at La Vergne Smyra Guitar Lessons is the wisest choice you could make. Not only is Grant a great teacher, he is also a great guy who cares about seeing his students succeed and is 100% committed in doing so! If you're looking for the best, you can stop your search here.
Our son began classical guitar lessons with Trevor three years ago. He's been an incredible teacher! He's professional, easy to communicate with, and flexible. Our son has learned so much and even when he wasn't motivated to practice, Trevor encouraged him to stick with it and was really relaxed and patient. He did an amazing job figuring out ways to make it more fun. Additionally, our son really wanted to learn electric guitar, and Trevor has been open and willing to add that alongside his classical practice. We have recently moved across the country and began virtual lessons via Skype because we couldn't part ways with Trevor! We highly recommend him!
Matt is my son's guitar teacher and band coach. Matt is awesome! My son and I adore him. Matt really connects with his students through an approachable style and great sense of humor. He is truly interested in their success. Matt is experienced, enthusiastic and creative. He helps my son choose the type of music that he is both interested in and that suits his playing style. This makes lessons fun and productive. With this kind of support and guidance, it is no surprise to me that my sons band won The Battle of the Bands two years running. Bottom line, Matt is a wonderful and trusting person and an amazing teacher and a mentor for my son.
I was excited about learning to play guitar, but how to begin was the problem. First, Denny called; his personality was warm and calming. He was very confident in his abilities, stated as a matter of fact, but does not major on that; he stayed focused on me, as a beginner, and how he could best serve my needs. From meeting me at the music store and providing guidance with my first guitar purchase through my first lesson, Denny provided gentle guidance and helped build my confidence. After the first lesson, I was able to play chords clearly and even had others to learn during my independent practice. I am very grateful I chose Denny as the professional to begin my new journey with. If you seriously want to learn how to play and enjoy your guitar experience, you owe it to yourself to get in contact with Denny.
Patrick has been a guitar teacher for my two sons (ages 11 & 20) for about 3 years. He has been outstanding. Patrick found out what each of my boys wanted out of guitar lessons before teaching them - did they want to be a musician, did they just want a hobby, did they just want to learn to play, WHAT did they want? He finds out what makes them "tick" in life and he naturally, flawlessly, magically works that into learning to play the guitar in a fun, casual, laid-back way. He's incredibly patient and gives them so much encouragement to expand their ideas and thoughts. He knows when to push and when to back off. My oldest had taught himself some things off of Youtube but was ready to move on to the next level. Patrick was phenomenal in that transition. Patricks talents are endless at whatever level. We are so blessed to have found him.
My 8 years old twins took music lessons from Amanda for years, and she built great musical foundation, trained ears with various techniques to my kids. She is wonderful skillful teacher and great for children, and my kids love her voice and songs.
Creative, thoughtful, and one of the best music teachers you will ever have.
Great teacher. He's the real deal as a performer and player and can get to the heart of what you need to learn whatever stage you're at. As far as rocking blues guitar, Tony's the man. Great guy!
I've never taken private lessons for vocal or guitar before Beth. So, needless to say it was extremely nerve racking walking into a new environment trying out something totally new. Beth seriously made my experience so calm and comfortable. She's so supportive as you approach new exercises and techniques. She really tailors her lessons specifically to you and I have learned so much in such a short amount of time. I definitely recommend booking her for at least an hour the first couple of times. Before Beth, I sang at a low octave thinking that's where my range stopped. She's taught me how much range I actually have and it's such a gift. Not only does she have a beautiful voice herself, but she's so talented and is such a teacher at heart. She wants her students to excel, it's been such a lovely experience getting to know her and learning at the same time!

His lessons are tailored specifically to the student to help reach the guitar goals you're trying to achieve.
