Marcin and Taylor were readily accommodating for scheduling piano lessons for my 8 year old, my 10 year old, and my 36 year old fiancé who all completed their very first lesson just last week. Not knowing anything about how to play the piano or read music, Taylor was quick to establish a kind, friendly relationship with each of them and centered their interests in piano and music in general, a helpful strategy especially for our lesson-resistant 8 year old. Everyone is looking forward to continuing with their next lessons!

Marcin is a very gifted piano teacher! I am an adult piano student (33) and have taking with Marcin for 2 years - mostly focused on classical music. Marcin is incredibly kind, professional, talented, and patient. He mixes performance, history, and theory into each lesson. Our first year we had lessons in person, and since moving out of state, have continued over Skype with much success. I couldn't recommend Marcin highly enough.

I agree with all other reviews, Ronnie has been an excellent teacher and partner in playing the piano and learning more about music theory. I have a very busy schedule and cannot commit to a weekly lesson or even daily practice sessions. Ronnie has always been very open to my schedule and works around my learning pace. I haven't played the piano in over 10 years and he has already brought me back to speed. I'm understanding and learning more about the art of music than I have ever received from any piano teacher I had as a kid. It has been lots of fun and i'm looking forward to my next lesson!

Nathan is an incredible piano instructor! I figured getting a late start to learning piano was going to be extremely difficult, as I’m in my late 20’s and not the fastest learner, but Nathan has made it so easy to pick up on the basics quickly. I wanted to learn to read music as well as chords so I can play my favorite songs and he has touched on both sides of that learning process with great detail. I would absolutely recommend his services to anyone interested in learning piano and look forward to continuing my lessons for a long time! :)

Tomorrow is my second lesson with Wil Snyder. I have been away from the piano for over 40 years. I was strictly classically trained and have no desire to resume to this form of study. I expressed a desire to try a new approach to hom. Wil spent most of the lesson listening to me and has set me on a new path of learning based on the jazz approach to music. He will teach me know more about music improvisation, piano theory, and chord structure. My first lesson has been to practice the II-V-I chord progressions, circle of the fifths, and major scales along with finger exercises. I realize that I need a lot of practice, practice, practice! But I am excited about this and believe that Wil will help me reach my goals. He seems knowledgeable, and genuinely interested in imparting his knowledge to his student.

I used Witchell once for piano lessons for my 7 yr old. I was trying out different instructors to see which would worked best in a virtual space for my son. Although my child connected better with someone else, I do appreciate Witchell’s professionalism and punctuality. My son needed someone a little more engaging and I would have preferred that there had a been a better introduction at the beginning of the lesson; this would have created a more personable experience.

I started piano lessons with Adam two months ago through FaceTime due to the current COVID situation, and what I have learned so far has been far beyond my expectations: I am playing several major scales, progressing quickly to the level 3 book. Adam is so encouraging and patient, and able to come up with the best teaching method that suits my learning preferences.

In light of recent events during the COVID-19 (holding several piano recitals without masks) along with several social media posts condemning the use of face masks, I need to rescind my previous review. Although I had many productive lessons with Marcin for several years, I cannot, in good conscience, continue to remain associated with an instructor who does not take recommendations from the CDC and medical experts seriously.
