I have been learning guitar from Jake for the last 6 months. That was the first time, I have placed my hands on guitar. He is extremely patient in teaching and works at your pace to make sure you are comfortable playing the instrument. I highly recommend him for beginners.

In more than 30 years of off and on guitar lessons, I've had a lot of teachers. Trevor is the best instructor I've met -- by far. In the first lesson, he figured out my skill level, interests, goals and probably my maximum capabilities. He sent me home that day with tangible and workable exercises (not the general and intangible stuff you usually get), and they worked. In two months, I've made more progress than I have in years. Trevor has a wide range of musical interests, so it doesn't matter what kind of music you like - he can teach it. That's important if you don't know what you want or get bored and like to switch things up. But the best thing about taking lessons from Trevor is that it is clear he likes teaching, and that he's very good at it. I surprised him once by bringing a 7 year old want to be guitarist to my lesson. A fast hour later, I left with the 7 year old knowing how to play a simplified version of his favorite song -- and he'd never played guitar before. Trevor knew how to teach him even though he had no warning or preparation, and he inspired the 7 year old to practice so he could go back for more lessons. This city is full of great musicians and great teachers. It is rare to find one person, like Trevor, who is both. If you're reading this, then you're looking for a great guitar teacher who can make a difference in your playing. You can stop reading and stop looking. Trevor motivates, encourages and teaches, and makes it all fun. He's the teacher everyone is looking for. I wish I'd started lessons with him long ago.

Jedi Training. That's what I like to call my guitar lessons. Because Trevor teaches you how to use the force. I like how Trevor gets me out of my left brain with exercises like closing my eyes while I pick out chords & notes. He know how to push me past my comfort zone while still keeping it fun. The topics of lessons aren't one size fits all (like some teachers that teach the same thing every week to all their students) But he tailors each lessons to my interests & deftly weaves all aspects of music together from theory, to chord structure, to picking, to levitating x-wings using your mind.

Trevor is a great teacher to my 13 year old son. He incorporates songs my son wants to learn and has a great demeanor. My son began electric guitar lessons with Trevor just 5 short months ago and his progress has been amazing! My son loves to practice the songs they choose together and already feels confident performing for friends and family. Trevor is the best!

I have enrolled my 6 year old for violin lessons with Dolce Studio. Two Lessons and my son has taken a liking to the instrument and the teacher Ms.Emily is so encouraging & supportive. She knows how to draw out my son who can be very reluctant to try in the face of a difficult task. Thanks to the wonderful Brenda Bedell for all the initial ground work in setting up the violin teacher for us! Highly recommend the studio for music lessons.

I started going to Dolce for violin lessons as a beginner. They have been incredibly helpful and friendly through the entire process. The cost is very competitive and the instructor quality is outstanding making it the best value by far. It was immediately clear to me that the environment is passionate about teaching music and not just a business to make money.

I had a wonderful experience! I got to work with talented, real musicians versus just a computer program. I had access to top notch equipment...certainly the best microphone I have ever sang into. I had control over the material, the final arrangement and full input on production. Say what? I know! Can I live one day over and over again? Let it be that one...

Although Kristen specializes in teaching kids, she also is a great teacher for adult piano learners. We meet weekly for about 30 minutes. 30 minutes seems short, but it is actually quite adequate for a beginning piano player. I am impressed and glad I found Kristen. I look forward to continuing learning with her.

Andrew is a wonderful teacher. I need a versatile teacher because I need both classical and technical instruction and someone who can help me create viola parts for my band. Andrew is very skilled at all of this and more. So nice too, always makes lessons enjoyable!

Dan is a wonderful guitar instructor. He seems to have a real gift for music. He amazed me during many lessons with his ability to listen to a song I wanted to learn and he would layout the chords and transpose as necessary for me to be able to play the song and keep my journey of learning guitar fun. His instruction was superb as well. I still rely on his instruction today from previous lessons.

Steve is a charismatic, patient, listening, fair, and flexible teacher. His diverse musical genre background and his ability to take you into the vast world of music without overwhelming you is a rarity for teachers. I highly recommend his teachings to any level of guiarist/musician from "I don't know how to hold my guitar" to the "I eat Eddie Van Halen for snack cakes." My STORY: At first when I started beginner lessons with Steve, I really didn't know anything and was using a penny as a pick. Not to overwelm me, he got me started on some technique for picking (wth a real pick) and a few basic chord/progression from music I enjoy (from Metallica/Nirvana to Led Zepplin/Pink Floyd and random in betweens on request). I took those lessons and continued to grow as a guitarist. Then a plateu happened and writers block set in. After, a few years had gone by, I picked up the guitar and lessons with Steve again. This time being more advanced than I was previous, he got me head over heels in love with theory, composition and finger picking which is a whole 'nother world of playing!!! I play gigs at coffee houses, bonfires and house parties doing modified covers and original music. I'm hooked on daily playing now! I also used to be so apprehensive about jamming with other people better than me. But because Steve would free jam with me a little past the out time with what I learned, I began feel comfortable with playing with just about anyone. probably had a few dozen sessions with the guy over the years and I never remember him abrubtly stopping a lesson cause the time was up unless there was someone else waiting. My impression of him, was he was more interested in your discovery and elevation than what time it was for the class to end. Who does that??? This is what I know at least as far as formalities go, Steve has a killer guitar performance background from thrash to funk to rock to clasical-not limited to any of them. He also can provide some insight and technique in recording, drumming, and some digital sound creation programs. His credentials are a shining star as he went to Stetson University here in Florida for his music degree. If you don't know anything about Stetson, look it up-it's not an easy school to complete and only can be done with the best of dedications (12-18hours of music a day) I aspired to go, I couldn't cut it. He is diverse, well travelled, has been in arrays of bands, gigged solo, and currently in a somewhat duelling classical guitar thing called En Fuego (If you need a demo of his level of play, listen to that-WOW WOW WOW-I only dream....). I'm pretty sure he does some studio recording nowadays and more than likely has his own rig to record himself and students if requested. Anyway, yeah I'm a nerd cause I wrote a book of a review, but this guy deserves a good referrence as he has worked for it and brought me and many others up to a level not thought previously possible. So stop reading and call him, hire him, ENSLAVE him to your requests! You won't be disappointed!

My wife got me adult guitar lessons fin Round Rock or me as a gift and knew Steve from En Fuego School of Guitar. After the free trial lesson, I felt Steve was eager to figure out my learning style, and make it enjoyable from the get-go. We have been using songs to learn music theory and technique, instead of the first month or two of lessons solely being scales or "three blind mice." I got some immediate gratification from Day 1 on being able to play an actual song (or try to). The first thing we worked on were actually two songs, one of which was Dave Matthews, Crash (the style I wanted to learn). The in-home instruction is super convenient. If you're looking for a great guitar instructor, Steve won't disappoint. Great balance of technical knowledge and skill development with knowing most people want to just start strumming out some songs and helping keep students engaged by tapping into that If you want to learn any style of guitar, go see Steve.

I came across Steve while looking for guitar lessons for my son. The whole process of meeting, scheduling a free test lesson and helping me out to buy the right equipment made me comfortable from the get go. The best part is that Steve comes home for the lesson that saves time and is super convenient. He makes the lesson super entertaining for my 8 yer old and is very clear and concise with his instructions. Apart from Classic and pop, he is also open in having him try out other tunes which we like. I feel great about my choice to go to Steve for my son's music lessons.

Nick can play several different instruments fluently and is an amazing guitar player. He is also a really good instructor and does a great job of explaining the basics of guitar playing. Whether you are a beginner like me or more advanced and looking to improve you'd be hard pressed to find anyone better. He can hear in almost perfect pitch so whether it's vocals or instruments you're looking to learn you won't be disappointed. One thing I appreciate is that he's a no nonsense kind of teacher. He expects you to want to put in the necessary time and energy to improve. If you don't care enough to put in the effort then he won't hold your hand. He will make every effort to work out a schedule but if you flake or are not fully committed then he will not work with you. But if you are really serious about learning the guitar, keyboard, or vocals then you should definitely give him a call.

I have been taking guitar lessons from Nick recently, and he is great! Very patient and explains things in a way I can understand. Doesn't jump down your throat the way some instructors do. Know he also teaches voice and keyboard lessons, and believe they'd be a good bet too. I would definitely recommend him!!

Chris is a great guitar instructor. I couldn’t have picked a better teacher for my 9 year old son. In fact, he made it so much fun for my son that I decided to start taking guitar lessons from Chris as well. Chris easily breaks down difficult guitar concepts and makes them approachable. You can tell that Chris really loves music as it comes through in his enthusiasm for teaching. I would highly recommend Chris to anyone looking for a great guitar teacher. -Jason Faludi

I met Chris through a mutant friend when I was interested in learning guitar. From the very first lessons with Chris I learned firmly well how to play the guitar , finger and body positions, technic , music theory everything in a very disciplined manner. While he has a profound and stable classical background he was able to teach me almost every kind of music. I really enjoyed his lessons with him ,I would still be his pupil if had´nt to move for professional reasons.

Steve has taken me from a beginner level to an advanced level of bass playing in under a year. His vast knowledge of both music theory and history is invaluable and gives him a unique insight on music. i have never asked a question that hasnt gotten a great answer. Perhaps his best quality is that he is actively trying to improve his own knowledge and skill and is very open to new ideas and ways of thinking
