Marti is a very special and experienced teacher. She works with your individual needs and customizes her teaching. My speech, spelling, grammar and comprehension improved tremendously as a result of studying with her. Working with Marti is a pleasure. She is entirely professional and easy to work with.
I was absolutely thrilled with my wedding video. Aaron captured all of the right moments--the heartfelt, the candid, and the traditional. It was beautifully edited and had a perfect soundtrack. Best of all, it included footage of the people who are most important to me. I tear up every time I watch it! I would highly recommend One Fifty Media House for a wedding video, or to capture any special event.
Blown away by the end product. He filmed and edited my wedding last month and did a fantastic job. He was there early, asked us a couple of questions and then got to work. He was unobtrusive during the ceremony but was still able to get the perfect shot. Fast, professional, and friendly, I would recommend him to all my friends getting married.
Eric did an amazing job making us feel comfortable during our photo shoot. He was professional, on time, and fun to work with. He sent us an sample picture 2 hours after the shoot and edited all the photos the next day. Our photos turned out amazing and I would highly recommend Eric for anybody looking for a dependable photographer who is easy to work with.
I engaged Zach to photograph my son's second birthday party. Of course it was an action-packed event with toddlers running around everywhere. Zach expertly managed the chaos while balancing his focus on action shots of the kids and sweet, keepsake family photos. After the completion of the job, Zach quickly delivered the unedited photos to us. Now, many might consider that a negative (the fact that the photos were unedited) HOWEVER it's quite the opposite; Zach's eye for composition, light, and balance is so precise that there was genuinely no need for edits. I would highly recommend Zach's work and look forward to working with him again in the future.
As someone who has never tried to have anything I've written professionally edited, with the hopes of publishing, the steps after writing were confusing, intimidating, and somewhat daunting. After speaking with Melanie at great length about what I was looking for, I knew I had found the person I wanted to work with. She's made the entire process more pleasant than I had imagined, works hard, offers great advice, and genuinely seems to have the best interest of the project at heart. Couldn't have made a better choice.
Dee Michaels Photography did an outstanding job at capturing precious moments via camera of our weddingwedding. Your professionalism and patience with my family and friends surpassed our expectations! We were absolutely satisfied with all of your work.if we ever have any other event we would definitely call on your business for the job

She is dedicated and honest. Because of her, my writing and grades have improved tremendously!

EDITING AND PROOFREADING Every writer needs an editor! It's true. No matter how many times we reread our own writing, we tend to make errors in punctuation, usage, etc. The problem is that we see what we expect to see instead of what is really on the page. Also, knowing what we mean to say, we think our text is perfectly clear. That's not always true. A fresh pair of eyes is the only solution. Do commas and semicolons bedevil you? I know where they need to be added and removed. Are you uncertain about the difference between further and farther, continuously and continually, or fewer and less? Don't worry; I will take care of it. I'll minimize the use of passive voice and deal with subjunctive mood on your behalf. From brochures to book length manuscripts, I stand ready to help businesses, organizations, and individuals. Put your best foot forward with clear, correct English. WRITING Perhaps you don't have the time or inclination to write it yourself. You can give me your raw material or topic, and I will compose the piece for you. I have been published in many newspapers (e.g., The San Francisco Chronicle and The Charlotte Observer) and on websites across North America. My weekly humor column was distributed by the Knight-Ridder/Tribune wire service.
I'm a technical writer and editor with 20+ years of experience. Former employers and clients include Rice University, McGraw-Hill, BAE Systems, US Army, U.S. Marine Corps, and Hewlett Packard. My special talent is taking what you said or wrote and turning it into what you meant.
I offer writing and editing services in the Brazos Valley and beyond. I have a Ph.D. in the humanities, three years of experience working in a writing center, and nearly a decade of experience with business and technical writing in the private sector. I can help with any of your writing needs.
In the past, I have worked privately as a Court Reporting Transcription Proofreader on both criminal and civil transcripts for Brazos County court reporters for about four years. I have also written about seven or eight plays a couple of which have won local awards, so I am used to editing dialogue material. I obtained a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from Sam Houston State University in Huntsville, Texas (Class of '74), with a minor in English and worked as a temporary Proofreader of Flight Manuals for Continental Airlines in Houston before returning to Bryan (where I grew up) in 1991. I am now married and live with my wife in Mumford, about ten miles southwest of Hearne, Texas. I am always happy to meet with an author or scriptwriter to look over their manuscript or dialogue transcript and give them my professional opinion of their work. I have to consider the project and the reasons for it, working one-on-one to determine if I can and should prepare an original document for the client, ghostwrite or if he or she really just needs help in finding the right direction to continue writing on their own. Clients are requested to provide a proof copy of either notes for the project or a copy of the original document, itself, so that it can be marked for editing. Rates vary, but I can only accept and examine hard copies of documents from the author and from no one else, except an authorized representative or agent on his or her behalf. Sorry, I cannot accept scripts or documents on computer disks or emailed to me. However I can be contacted, either at my email address or by phone, to arrange a meeting. Once that is done, I will do whatever I can to bring the work to fruition and to transfer the imagination and skill of the author to the page.
