I have been a client at Strength and Fəˈzēk for approximately eight months and went from deadlifting 135 lbs. to 475 lbs. and still going. Zach (trainer and owner) at Strength and Fəˈzēk, understands what works for each client as well as what may not work for another. My very first day was not a show and tell of the gym or about how much weight I could lose. Zach actually took the time to assess my body to familiarize my needs for exercise, diet, and training. Zach will find comfortable pace for each client based on your progression rate. Zach’s attention to detail is phenomenal. I have had 2 training sessions and I am so excited! Adam is amazing and so professional. He has already boosted my confidence and motivated me. I am not new to working out but after some major life events I didn't even know where to start. After 2 sessions I am already convinced Adam is the trainer that I have always needed. I have had 2 children, ran a marathon, had arms like Kelly Ripa, danced in a company....but have never been able to do a sit up! Guess who was able to get to the problem behind it all after 2 sessions?! Adam! Seriously! I have had trainers and PT with no success but Adam was able to teach me to engage my abdominals that have not been able to work in a long time.

She knows how to customize each training class to cater to your different needs/abilities, and she pushes you to achieve new workouts that you did not think was even possible for your body! She focuses on every aspect of a healthy lifestyle - nutrition, cardio, weight training, etc. - so her training/advice leaves you feeling completely satisfied and positive about everything! You will also be blown away by her wonderful encouragement and positivity - she is always there when you have questions or are doubting yourself. She's a great trainer as well as a GREAT motivator! I always felt very comfortable and was never intimidated working with her, and I would GLADLY recommend her to anyone and everyone.
When I first met Mr. Trule I was 20 lbs over my ideal weight. I had been working out on my own and just going through the motions. I was working out but I wasn't "working out". I had paid so called trainers in the past and was reluctant to give Trule the time of day. Turned out he wasn't all talk...in fact, I told Trule if he wanted me to give him a chance he had to abide by one rule. If we talk during our sessions it would be strictly business; meaning what is the next exercise and what does it accomplish. I told Trule of my past experiences with so called trainers. They were more interested in trying to up-sell my gym membership and we spent more time talking about their personal problems then we did training. Trule honored my request and gave me the workouts and motivation I did not think was possible from a trainer. Trule helped me reach and surpass my goals and he earned my respect. I eventually started asking Trule about his past and future goals and really connected, improving our trainer/client relationship. I highly recommend his services if you are lucky enough to be living in his market area.

Whether you're a beginner, intermediate, or professional athlete you'll be amazed w the knowledge and help you'll get here. Individual, couple, or small group training. They have it all!! Difference between Get FHIIT and other places, private means private (not a gym full of people) and true knowledge and education well beyond just personal trainers certification. Get your scale and your muscles moving in the right direction. If they have an opening, you should try them out. If they are no longer taking new clients, get on the wait list. It's worth a try and worth the wait. Personally, I drive 45 minutes one way, the results are worth my time.

I have been training with Janelle more than 4 years now. She puts time into customizing a work out for me working around all of my injuries and muscle weakness. She pushes me into doing more than I ever would on my own. She is confident and extremely competent as a trainer but because of her work as a certified MAT Professional she is able to catch future injuries and keep me strong.

Amber became my personal trainer almost two years ago, after I hit my highest weight two years after having my son. I was sick of people assuming I was 7 months pregnant all the time. Amber has been amazing to work with. She's a very sweet person who is all about building you and your confidence up. She's helped me reach my weight loss goal and to continually set the bar higher for myself with my fitness and training. Absolutely love her, and would recommend her to anyone. ☺
She is awesome with full energy and always gives her 100% in training with added fun. She motivates and always provide alternatives if you are novice and she will challenge you if you have expertise. Trust me she is the best trainer.
I would HIGHLY recommend this gym and the trainers for anyone at any fitness level! It's the best deal you'll find anywhere for personal training and it's legit. Fitness has always felt like a chore to me, but this is the first time that I'm actually excited about it and look forward to my workouts. Great people/atmosphere, flexible with scheduling, and very knowledgeable staff. They know their stuff and make it fun! I NEVER write reviews for anything, but this is worth telling people about. Try it out, you won't regret it.

I have been doing fitness and martial arts training with John Holt at The Academy for about 5 months now, and I have benefitted GREATLY from his instruction. John is extremely knowledgeable in anatomy, physiology, exercise science, and martial arts. He designs fun and challenging exercise programs from a diverse and extensive repertoire of exercises that emphasize compound, functional movements. John has 7 black belts in a variety of martial arts - Muay Thai, Kali, Silat, Jun Fan, Jeet Kune Do, Grappling, and Boxing. Training in martial arts has increased my confidence, body awareness and coordination, as well as situational awareness. I take the train to work downtown, so I regularly encounter disgruntled people with little to lose. After training Muay Thai, Boxing, and Kali, I now feel much more prepared to defend myself if I were to be attacked. I also have more confidence walking down the street.
