We could not have made it through our wedding without Barbara Cooper, or Saint Barbara as I will call her! At first, we just hired her for our day-of coordination, but as the tasks started to pile up, my mom made the smart decision to hire her on as a full-time coordinator. It was one of the best decisions we made throughout the entire process! Barbara's calm demeanor, professionalism and positive attitude were the perfect match for this stressful time. She had many great ideas, design supplies and was very organized with To-Do Lists and Timelines that allowed our multi-day celebrations to run smoothly. Her decorations for our Meet and Greet and for the Wedding Day were perfect! I was so pleased with the way everything turned out. On the wedding day, Barbara was there from start to finish. We gave her a few items we wanted at the entrance for the guest sign-in and the display was perfect and really reflected our style! The table settings with burlap runners and small votive candles brought added romance to night. The biggest asset of having Barbara on our team was being able to leave the venue with our friends at the end of the night, knowing that everything was taken care of. All of the vendors had been paid by simply giving Barbara the checks with tips to hand out, all of the leftover food and alcohol was packed up and transported and all of our decorations, including flowers were collected and brought to where they needed to be. I have heard horror stories of couples celebrating their big day only to have to stay late to clean and tie up loose ends. Barbara ensured that all we had to do at the end of the night was walk under the lit sparklers held up by all our guests (which Barbara provided), get on our shuttle bus and enjoy the magical day that had just taken place. I would also like to add that Barbara's assistant was a huge help all weekend! They really worked great as a team to get things done expeditiously and beautifully. Hiring a wedding planner is the smartest thing you can do for your big day, and hiring Saint Barbara with Austin Event Studios is the perfect choice!
when i was planning my wedding i realized "hey, i need help"! As most of us do in this day and age i turned to facebook lol I (jokingly) stated "can i just hire a wedding planner! Low and behold i had a response, and it said yes you can! I was given Shalamar's contact information. My initial thought was, no way! i cant afford a real wedding planner, but when i had my first meeting with Shalamar i was pleasantly surprised. The cost was within my budget for what i needed ( i only needed day of coordination) and my first impression of her was ... comfort... she put my mind at ease, very attentive to what I wanted and how i wanted everything. She asked questions, as many as she had to and took notes! I knew i was going to be ok! Most brides know we want things how we want things and when we cant be there to overlook things it is extremely stressful. Shalamar helped take that stress off my shoulders. She was there front and center for rehearsal and taking notes as to who belongs where and with who. Day of wedding she was at the church even before i was, and made sure flowers were in place and people were in place. My bouquet was wrong, wrong and wrong, well she found the flower lady and had her fix it. easy fix but for a bride its the end of the world lol. When we got to the venue, again, she was already there and everything was in its place. The last minute items i had for her were put where i wanted. She had a schedule and was on it! She made sure everything went as it should, even had her assistant to help, because as you know one person can not be in 2 places at once! She made things even easier for us when she made sure she got our gifts into our vehicle before the end of the night. All in all she was the best facebook response i ever got! I am so very glad i had the opportunity to hire her! She was on point and for a person like me, pick, she was my perfect fit! Beverly was the best part of wedding planning. She stayed well in budget, and the flowers were the most commented thing at the wedding. My wedding was a southern romantic, black tie affair and her mix of deep colors, and mysterious greens were the perfect touch at each table. She even did a 18ft magnolia garland for the head table that was stunning. My bouquet looked like it was straight from pinterest! We met several times to see actual flowers and go over ideas. She told me up front that she believes a bride should have what she wants regardless of the budget. Stunning. Amazing. Caring. Book her and spend all your time worrying over something else. The flowers will be beyond perfect!
I cannot even begin to tell you all of the ways Custom Staffing made my wedding amazing. From the initial consultation they made my new wife and I feel important and taken care of. They handled every single one of our concerns and the entire wedding went off amazing! The very few hiccups were handled professionally and quickly to the point where none of my guests were even aware of anything going wrong. I cannot wait to work with them again, I'm planning a grand opening for our small business and can't imagine using anyone else!
Amanda was a fantastic coordinator for my very DIY wedding! I thought I could handle everything myself, but as the date approached and I was completely overwhelmed, Amanda came to the rescue. We met several times to make sure things would go smoothly across all of our various venues and she kept the communication lines open. She was organized, thorough, and wonderful to work with. Even when there was a glitch with the sound equipment, Amanda kept things moving and made the night perfect. We couldn't have done it without her!

Working with Will has been a great experience! Before anything was negotiated he wanted to make sure that we had our vision and he wanted to know everything that he could do to make that vision come true. Working tirelessly at all hours, he negotiated with vendors and caterers on our behalf and was able to procure for us better deals than we could have imagined getting on our own. Planning for your wedding and reception (or any other buisness/corporate event) can be one of the most difficult things when you are not exactly sure how to find the best people for your vision.
