Me and my girlfriend are doing the workout with Sonny together.We've been professional athletes for over 20 years. Before we met him we worked with few different people but he stood out from them by being personal with us and understanding and accommodating to our athletic needs. He is very friendly but also very professional.
It was my first time using Thumbtack - My wife and I decided to look for a personal trainer. After going thru some choices that were narrowed down to our liking, we shot off rate/quote request to about 5 personal trainers nearby. To start off, what I liked about Zak was that I got a call from him IMMEDIATELY. Showed that he was serious, so I took the call and had a brief discussion on what we were looking for. Moving on to first meeting.. First meeting was free and during that time, he really took the time to get to know our needs, strengths, study our posture and make corrective suggestions. After the session, prices were discussed and on we go. There you have it - Simple, no hassle or obligation to we were signed up for his training. For people who are looking for a personal trainer, I know this can be a virgin territory. It certainly was for us. Zak understood that and took us from the basics. He offers nutrition programs (which is included in the rate for training - Can't be that). Nutrition program is designed for each individual and not that one plan fits all. My workouts are far different from my wife's workout. He has tremendous knowledge in what he is doing and is a dedicated student in learning more himself. Very respectful and a humble individual he is. We get weighed in end of every week and progress is recorded. You can really tell that he cares for your goals and not like other trainer that I've heard horror stories about, who only care about the money. With Zak, you are not just his paycheck - he truly cares for the well being. Zak being a powerlifter, he has shared many tips on better posture, better workout, and muscle recovery remedies. It's unusual for me to write a review online for anything, but when I know that I'm working with the best and with a person who is honest and genuinely cares for people, the least I can do is to pay it forward and let everyone know about what Zak has to offer. Lori Duff has been a God-send for me these past 3 weeks, as she has launched me into a holistic plan for my long-term fitness, health and wellness. Lori cares about all aspects of her clients' weight loss needs, and any triggers that have prevented someone from previously reaching their fitness goals. She is always on time and prepares for our sessions in advance. In my first 10 days I lost 5lbs, thanks to the hard work in my sessions with Lori, and the nutritional education she is providing me. I ran my first 5K yesterday. I was not able to do that 5 months ago. Andy has pushed me to be my best. He genuinely wants to see me reach my goals. I had major surgery in May and he has been helping me gain my strength back week by week. He is so knowledgeable in fitness and nutrition and watches my form to make sure I am not hurting myself in any way. He pushes me when I want to be lazy and make excuses and motivates me when I want to give up. He helps me be patient and reminds me this is a journey and takes time.....iI even have my mother training with him because he is realky good with training individuals at any level in their health and fitness journey. I highly recommend Andy to anyone looking for a great motivational trainer that will push you to reach your goals in a non-militant style!

Ryan Wood is an expert fitness trainer and professional. He is thoroughly competent and organized, and plans individualized training programs. Ryan is a great communicator and listener. My previous trainers pale in comparison to him.

I would HIGHLY recommend this gym and the trainers for anyone at any fitness level! It's the best deal you'll find anywhere for personal training and it's legit. Fitness has always felt like a chore to me, but this is the first time that I'm actually excited about it and look forward to my workouts. Great people/atmosphere, flexible with scheduling, and very knowledgeable staff. They know their stuff and make it fun! I NEVER write reviews for anything, but this is worth telling people about. Try it out, you won't regret it.

I've been training almost two months with Chad now. I felt the difference in my overall health after a month. Chad is very personable and upbeat. He keeps me laughing even when I'm working on that last set of squats or the dreaded planks. He mixes up the workouts, where one day I may be working on weights to resistance bands to using my own stairs. I never know what to expect which removes the boredom from a typical workout. What I like most about Chad is that he's empathic, I feel he truly takes the time to get to know me and he cares. He's designed workouts just for me. He gives me that extra push and encourages me during the workout. I feel blessed to have found him when I did. I'm so much stronger not only physically but mentally. Courtney/Rockwall
I have had few trainers so when I was recommended Liz I was slightly apprehensive as I had never trained with a lady trainer before. But working with Liz I quickly found that she is very knowledgeable and versatile in her training. During sessions she mixes up her training with different styles while keeping my primary goal(s) in mind, which keeps it interesting and fresh for me! She has a good sense to understand my limits and pushes me accordingly. I would strongly recommend Liz whether your goal is weight loss, muscle building or just pushing yourself to next athletic limit!
Since I’ve started with my personal trainer Stephen back in January I’ve learned so much in how to work out my body for my goal,that I’m trying to achieve and can definitely see the difference in my body since we’ve started training.With the way Stephen teaches makes it so easy and confident to learn the workout fully and correctly and effectively with being genuinely motivated to your goal . Brittan is a passionate ,knowledgeable and dedicated on what he is doing. I have been working out with him since 1/2012. He cares about your goals and helps you reach that faster. He keeps the workout effective and fun. I stopped working out since high school and the only reason I wanted to go back was loosing weight. I reached my goal 6 months later but now I can't stop because he changed my life style. I have not been sick for 4 years and I get better comments about my body than ever. I feel great and I want to keep going so I can play soccer with my future grand babies ?
