John is always on time, is always prepared, and is always eager to teach. My 5 year old can barely contain her excitement when he comes over. I am amazed at how much she has learned at such a young age. John encourages family participation during her lessons which is something that I fully agree with. Music in our house is a family affair. He has an obvious compassion for teaching young children and it is very obvious with the method he uses to teach them. He makes music fun. I am a middle school teacher, and would highly recommend him as a music teacher with your children too. As an adult student in guitar, John is always listening to my wants and needs. He is teaching me with a style that will benefit my ultimate guitar playing goal, and addresses my learning style carefully. I would highly recommend him as a guitar teacher too. "See more

My kids enjoy having Paul as their virtual piano teacher. I wasn’t sure how a lesson would work virtually as we live in Texas and he lives in California, but it works surprisingly well! He uses three cameras and my kids use their one camera and have a productive 30 minute lesson. His schedule is flexible regarding the time difference, he answers text promptly, and the kids enjoy their time with him. Highly recommended!

Sean, the teacher is lively and filled with so much energy! He truly makes learning piano fun for the kids, and based on the lessons you can really see he is passionate about teaching. The onset of group classes, and recitals really makes him one that beats out the rest, because private lessons can only take you so far. My child and future children will come to learn here. I definitely recommend him to others.

Mr. Irwin is a FANTASTIC teacher! I started my lessons about five months ago and I've been able to make tremendous progress because he adjusts the speed of the lessons to the student's pace. I am 54 years old and hadn't played any musical instrument since high school band. Because I still remembered the basics of reading music, we could skip over the things I already knew and go right into "real" piano music. I've also overheard his conversations with a child whose lesson was adjacent to mine, and he seems great with kids too. He truly has a gift!
