Chuck was able to engage with my 15 year old daughter right from the start and was able to help her understand Algebra 1 and pass the class. He explains mathematical operation in a variety of ways until the students grasps the concept. Now he is helping her during the summer to get a head start on Geometry. Chuck is very easy to work with and super flexible. Just don't use him too much because WE NEED HIM!
Vikas Dawar is an outstanding tutor. We worked together on a graduate level statistics class that I was taking. I hadn’t been in school in more than 15 years, and had very limited understanding of the subject. Vikas did an incredible job of explaining concepts in a way that made them much easier to understand. Vikas would show me an example of how the problem should be solved and then would have me practice it. For me, it was the best way to learn and like having a professor assisting me rather than a tutor. Vikas was always available when I needed him, and he also made time to help me even when it was last minute. On my final paper for the course, Vikas helped me brainstorm and expand on my ideas and then he helped me think through what resources I needed and how I would prove my thesis. I am excited to use Vikas as a tutor again in the future. I am positive he will help me understand more complex subjects in a way I would never learn by simply doing the course on my own. Vikas turned a course I was dreading for months into something I enjoyed and took pride in learning. Thank you for your help, Vikas.
I cannot recommend Jesse highly enough!! He is not only a complete math whiz, he knows how to relate to people and teach concepts in a way that students can understand and remember. Over the past couple of years, my son's scores in Algebra II, Pre-Cal and Calculus have jumped two and three letter grades, thanks to just a little help from Jesse. He is not only an incredible tutor who is always reliable and responsive, but also just a great guy all around!
Andrea is AMAZING! She meets with my 9 year old son weekly, and he really enjoys his lesson. He never complains about going and she always has a smile on her face. I am so happy we found her!
Blake Seymour is very personable and knows how to talk to my granddaughter. In such a short time, her math grades have improved. This shows he has pinpointed what needs to be reinforced.
Claire has had a great improvement in her algebra course as a freshman with Ms. Vecera. She is punctual, understanding, calm and to the point with her skills. It took Claire a good 4 lessons to know that we were with the right person. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a true up to date math tutor.
Very Professional and Knowledgeable!!!! Even on days not tutoring, she would text me to find out if we had any questions on homework. After 2 sessions my daughter got an A+ on test.
Mary-Beth has been an excellent teacher during the sevaral months spent together. She is always looking for new ways of teaching english, which match with the requirement of the student. Lessons were always stimulating, well-presented and funny. I really enjoyed Mary-Beth as a teacher. Every week was different and enjoyable. She was opened to any request or questions, it was really great
Ethan has tutored me for almost two years now starting in our first year of college. Through this time, he has been excellent at helping me understand and learn more of mathematics. I struggle with dyslexia and dysgraphia in all areas of study, however mathematics is particularly bad. He has tutored me in pre-calculus, calculus 1, and currently in calculus 2. I went from making near-failing grades to passing my courses with As and Bs. He has truly helped make a difference in my understanding of math and is excellent at understanding where I struggle and working with me to get better.
