I was a little skeptical about getting a personal trainer because I didn't want to pay the money, but I don't regret anything about the training I have received and I look forward to my next training at the end of each training session.
Mr. Gunn is more to me than just a trainer. He has helped me turn my life around. Our journey together began in weight loss and fitness. With his personal training and motivation I lost weight and inches. When I was ready, he assisted me with switching into gaining muscle tone. That is not all he helped me gain though. More importantly, he helped me gain self confidence that I would have never believed could be possible. For all of these reasons, I would highly recommend Mr. Gunn as a person to join forces with in losing, or gaining, the important things in life through fitness. I can't thank him enough for all he has done for me!
Mr. White is professional and very attentative to your fitness goals. I have attended (2) sessions and must admit that I am in pain, but very satisfied with Mr. White's approach to fitness. I highly recommend him!
Matt and Meghan are great trainers. They’ll find your strengths and weaknesses but will help you improve in both areas. I’ve been at Funcfit for a year and my fitness level has continuously improved. Good trainer! Good person! Very knowledgeable with nutrition and fitness/training. As a figure competitor, it is important to me to work with someone who is knowledgeable in that area; someone who has been there/done that. I've trained with Brian in between shows and right up to the week before a show. Whether you are prepping for a competition, just need to get in shape, or in it for the workouts, give him a call!
I have been working out with Jamie for about 6 weeks now and she is truly amazing to work with. She pushes you to do your best. I knew immediately when I met Ben and did my first workout with him that I found the Personal Trainer that I've been wanting to find. Ben has created workouts that are tailored to me and are getting me the results I've been looking for. Not only is Ben someone with extreme fitness and resistance training knowledge he understands my needs and goals and has gone above and beyond to make sure they are met. He pushes me everyday to do my best and he is helping me become the fit/healthy person I want to be!
I don't have a lot of experience working with personal trainers but I know how intimidating it can be. Sasha and the other trainers at straight edge to make sure that you feel comfortable when you're working with them. Sasha goes above and beyond to teach you about the importance of eating right and how to make the changes fit into your life. She has been there and can speak from experience. She creates challenging routines but adapts each exercise to your fitness level. She is a great trainer and motivator.
I think one of the best things is how comfortable Joe makes you feel starting out and then through out training. He is very encouraging and supportive, he helps you modify exercises if you need to for your individual ability so anyone can work out. The workouts are addicting because the are always different and challenging. You will definitely get results if you train with Joe!

If you are looking for structure, dependability, consideration, flexibility, compassion and knowledge I recommended Brian as your personal trainer fitness instructor. He's always on time for are appointments. Text back almost immediately. Give me a compound workout that leaves me energetic. Always provides suggestions on proper food consumption. And let's be honest easy on the eyes 😉. I highly recommend him if you are looking to get fit. I'm sad he's leaving but I'm glad he helped me get motivated thought a tuff time in my life. Working with Caleb has been tremendous change for me in term of understanding fitness and how to approach training the right way. It is not about how much weight you can lift or how many sets/reps you can crank up. It is about functional strength, mobility, and proper form. I am over 55 years old and now I can move my body in a way I never knew I could, may be when I was a teen. ;) Caleb is really patient and can quickly zero in into your body ability and its potential and set a program for you to hit your goals and guide along the way.
The gym hours work great with my schedule and its within minutes of my home. The Cardio Blast and Zumba classes are awesome and I can see the results. You can get great tips for healthy meals and snacking, as well as a smiling face when you walk through the door. Overall, I would recommend this gym to everyone, whether you're looking for personal training, group workouts or even if you're a loner, this is the place!!
Matt is such a supportive coach. He wants you to be the best you can be for you. He is such a nice and well meaning person. He gives you direction and encourgment as well as great advice.ive been in his Insanity fitness group for about 3 year's and I'm in the best shape and health I've ever been accountability works.

Kelsey is an excellent trainer. She is always very flexible when I need to rearrange my training sessions. She gets back to me immediately. She is also always changing up my routines to keep it interesting and challenging.
I worked with Doug 10 years ago and got amazing tesults. Immediately upon returning to the Hampton Roads area I contacted Doug again so that I can acheive the same great results. He is professional and has a love for fitness. He is dedicated and keeps it intetesting , he will push you and encourage you to reach your goal whatever that maybe for you. He listens and will give you 110% but be prepared to work. You get out what you put in. When you seek him out get your mind ready to work and the results will come. Great experience lost 6lbs in two weeks. Always available for questions will work to suit your abilities and needs (mobility, meal plans, etc.) Pricing is great and he is willing to work with you as far as location. Lastly his appearance is reassuring that he knows what fit is. Unlike another trainer I had that looked like he needed more training than me so that was over before it started. I like to get to know who I am working with so learning my trainer multiple skills and certifications was a PLUS. Sold!!!

Cris has been my trainer for about 4 months now and let me just say, his sessions have surpassed everything I expected! I was at a plateau in my fitness journey and at a loss for what to do next. Cris helped me over that hump all while teaching me better ways to target the areas I'm mostly concerned with. I am stronger and in better shape than I was before! He also checks in to make sure I'm following my diet and is around for any questions I may have outside of our sessions. I'm a server with a small income and his prices are so affordable that using a trainer is no longer impossible for me. I highly encourage anyone needing help with fitness to train with Cris!
Renall has been my personal trainer since September 2015.
