I have been training with KJay for two years; my objective in the beginning was get in condition to do the Seattle to Portland (STP) bike ride. This is a two day 100 mile per day ride. Not only did I successfully and satisfactory complete this ride, I had a great time with guys 10 years my junior who couldn’t figure out what happened to this couch potato . I still continue to bike in addition to doing Obstacle Course Racing (OCR) with my wife. Over the years I have done weight training while going to college, circuit training and work outs with friends. While this is all good several elements were missing and that was a great solid knowledgeable trainer who wanted you to meet your goals, who is educating me on nutrition and the value of good sleep. I recommend KJay Davis to anyone serious about becoming “fit for life” REGARDLESS of where their starting point would be at the moment. Greg Bogart
I absolutely love working with Kat! She is both proactive and flexible. She always plans ahead with me, which can be tough given my schedule. I love that she pushes me every time we work out, while being very conscious about safety and how far my body can go. She's also very encouraging, and I always leave feeling in the best mood, both because I got a good workout and because she gave me the confidence to finish the workout mentally. I have enjoyed working out for 35 years. When we moved to Scottsdale our community fitness center had a trainer named Craig. I liked his bio so for over two years I used him several times a week for an hour to train me. My loss that he has moved away. Craig always challenged me and encouraged me. He varied my workout constantly. Craig is extremely knowledgable about nutrition as well as fitness training. He sets a constant example everyday by eating healthy and working out himself. Anyone would be fortunate to have Craig as a private trainer.
Danny is highly knowledgeable in the fitness field. His track record for training in strength is without question. If you get the opportunity to utilize Danny's skills, you should take that opportunity.
I started going to Talache Wellness about 8 weeks ago and let's just say I'm hooked! I absolutely love the fact that it's not in some stuffy gym where you get pressured if not by the trainers then from the looks you get from people who are healthier than you. It's a very relaxed atmosphere and Jarae works hard to make sure everyone gets where they want to go with their goals. Jarae as well as all the other trainers are very knowledgeable and walk you through each workout to make sure you do it correctly and they don't get upset when you have to ask them to re demonstrate the move multiple times to get it right. I've always had a problem motivating myself to workout hence why I did the 6 week bootcamp trial and lets just say I love coming to workout because I know the whole group is there to support as well as the staff, plus it's a super fun environment with everyone encouraging each other to always work harder! I love this place for sure!
