I have been playing guitar (electric, acoustic, and bass guitar) for over 10 years. Over the last decade, I have learned many genres and taught a plethora of people that exact knowledge I have retained. My passions include the blues, classic rock, alternative rock, jazz, and teaching you how to be the master of your instrument. While growing up, I had a driven thirst for acquiring the skill and knowledge to make me the best musician possible; however, after 2 years of going through three different teachers and being back at the point I started at, I wanted to give up. I then took the initiative of learning on my own and went further than I had ever dreamed. I know exactly what it takes to teach any aged mind what they want to know, need to know, and everything that makes them feel accomplished when they pick up that guitar and shred away. Please contact me for any questions whatsoever. I would love to help by answering them and allowing you to get to know me.
I was completely happy with Chuck's Bass and Guitar Studios! I have been a guitar instructor for about 15 years and like to take guitar lessons myself every so often. Last summer I took a few months of lessons from Chuck and it was awesome. I saw his name on a guitar lesson add and recognized it from Henris Music. He was kind enough to let me right into his studio and loaded me up with work. He recognized quickly what I could use to improve and grow my playing. He had a positive and encouraging attitude. His background is pretty cool and his knowledge is very complete. I hope to get over again to get more instruction in the future. I would recommend Chuck as a Teacher and person. He could charge 2X the amount he does and you would still be getting a great deal. ~Jesse Gyldenvand
Zakk Abitz is the lead guitarist and vocalist of the popular local band, Bad Habitz. Zakk Abitz is looking to teach beginner to intermediate guitar lessons (electric and acoustic). He is very good with people and loves what he does. Every lesson is filled with disciplined learning, but still fun filled and interesting for the student.
I believe that the most effective way to learn music is to play the music that genuinely interests you. No matter what your age or musical preference is, I can help you better your guitar skills and techniques.
I work with Jeff on a regular basis and he is an excellent guitarist and teacher. He is familiar with many different styles and knows the instrument well! Jeff is a friendly person, and he's loved in the music community by his peers and his students seem to like him as well! I highly recommend Jeff as a teacher!

He was so great with my grandchild ! Very easy to learn from
I have been in several accomplished bands and have written close to a thousand songs. I love to share my knowledge, enthusiasm, and shortcuts to attentive beginners of any age. Experienced in all aspects of modern music making, I engage students with a "big-picture" learning style that simultaneously and easily teaches the guitar, percussion, and vocals, and I always let the students decide what they want to learn! The guitar is made easy and fun. For more involved music makers, I offer songwriting assistance and instruction. As a bonus, I guarantee that I can make anyone, no matter how horrible they sound now, into a great singer quickly! My rates are reasonable, and the time spent is memorable. Feel free to contact references of current clients upon request. All ages are encouraged. Blessings.

Kelly is a fantastic music teacher. Her love for music and teaching is evident. My daughter is taking violin lessons with her and has improved a great deal. Kelly was able to recognize, within a few lessons, the areas in which she needed the most help. Kelly also makes the lessons fun and easy to understand. She is a treasure!
Being largely self-taught, with some help along the way- I have a "non-traditional" way of teaching using patterns, computer software such as Capo, as well as teaching the basic music vocabulary that a new musician may come across. Having been a Professors assistant at the Tech College in Madison I can proudly say that I can communicate effectively with anyone willing to listen, and I can tailor my presentation in many ways so it is easily understood. I also have built an electric guitar and know how to properly adjust guitars to make them easier to play, sound better and keep them "healthy."
