Results! Is the first word that comes to mind when asked what makes ENG1INE standout above all else. The atmosphere would merely be amoung the top as well. A positive, zero pressure, and friendly atmosphere is vital in the success of every clients goals. The little things are ever so motivating as well, like sending a client a postive text in the morning letting them know that they are doing great is just not done enough these days! After being a firefighter/paramedic I never thought I would get the lighting feeling I would get after delivering a newborn in the back of a Rescue Unit going 60mph or getting a pulse back after saving someone's life. I can now say I have found a ever so close feeling in being apart of someone accomplishing their health/fitness goals. Showing someone their 60/90/120 day transformation pictures and seeing them overcome in emotion is a feeling second to none. I have to also say I've meet some great people that have also taught me so much and continue to daily! What do you love about your job?
I love helping people, especially my clients. So, when I see their faces as we track positive progress through their program, it makes being a personal trainer and business owner seem not like a job to me at all.
I love to make a difference in peoples lives. I like to see the transformation in people like helping a woman to lose the baby weight or helping a stroke victim to use their left arm again. I love seeing how happy my clients and their families become when they see the progress made. Owning a successful business while doing what you love to do is the best feeling in the world.
What or who inspired you to start your own business?
Back in the day, I read about an interview with a businessman who turned 102 years old and was still happily working on his business to that day. He was asked for his advice on how to live a good life and he answered, Ask yourself this question, what do you love to do most? What is the favorite thing you like to do? He was saying that if you are doing something you loved, even if you had to work at it for 12 hours or more everyday, it would not seem like work to you.
He ended telling the interviewer to take that favorite thing you love and figure out a way to make it your own business. That resonated well with me, so I took his advice and never looked back! It was the best decision I ever made - I have loved every minute of it!
