We could not have been happier with the quality of the food or the service provided by Carefree catering! We had drop off service...They came out to our site and had everything set up very nicely, the food was awesome, portions sizes were awesome, and the service was awesome! I received many compliments (you could cut the steak with a plastic knife)! The steamed vegetables were perfect and the desserts delicious. I will be using Carefree Carering again and highly recommend them! Even my event coordinator wanted to know about them!

Used Dynamic Cuisine Catering for a neighborhood Home Tour party. Food was good, service was good, price was good. She had no problem adjusting the head count when we needed to. All in all a great experience.

Having Unique Luxury Catering was one of the best experiences we have had with any service professionals, the food outstanding, they took the time to explain the origin of each item and that we were all more than satisfied. Admittedly I don't normally take the time to leave reviews but they are more than deserving and sure you will find the same, I would recommend them for anyone looking to have the same experience our family did.

I have been working out with O'Neil fittness for years and I have always gotten the results I've wanted. I've worked with other trainers, but none motivated me like O'Neil fitness. Their knowledge on nutrition and health has really helped me to stay healthy.

Sasha does a fantastic job cooking. First, as to the food, it is simply delicious. Carefully homemade and scrumptious, everything was bursting with flavor. Second, the delivery was exceptional. Alex brought everything inside my home; each dish explained, and instructions on how to reheat, etc. I highly recommend Body and Soul Food to any and all!

Danny is great, he planned a nutrition and work out program for me that I can use any where I go whether it be my home or a hotel. Danny also gave me an inside work out plan and outside work out plan , so depending on the weather or how I feel, I can do either one! I love the freedom of not having to change my schedule and living a healthier life. I would strongly recommend using Coach Daleys programs to improve your quality of life.

Working with Stacey was wonderful. She listened and worked with me to get the catering experience and services I was needing. Stacey provided a flexible menu which could be tailor made to fit the event. The food presentation, added touches, wide variety of menu choices. and her welcoming personality made a Celebration of Life a success and far less stressful to plan. Everyone loved Stacey's cuisine! Kelly, Faye, and I would not hesitate to recommend Stacey to anyone or to hire her again in the future. We were impressed!!!!

Anna has been cooking for me for quite some time. Everything she makes is wonderful She is very creative but can also make the good old "comfort foods". Her meat loaf is the best you have ever tasted. She has made my day more than once preparing dinner for me when I was dead tired at the end of the day Also cooking dinner for a dinner party and letting me enjoy my guests. Love her!!

Heather has been exactly what I needed the most which was someone to cut through the clutter of information overload and help me understand basic nutrition. I have a much clearer understanding of how to read labels and which foods I should avoid or limit.

Christine did an excellent job cooking for our bachelorette party! She was extremely responsive, easy to work with and the food was delicious. We were staying at an AirBnB and the electricity went out in the middle of her cooking but she just worked through it and still made everything taste great. Would highly recommend!

I wanted to have some friends over for Dinner but did not want to do the cooking. Nutrition intuition saved the day! Amber made us roasted chicken and mashed chipotle sweet potatoes – it was all delicious. It was fun having her over and it felt like a friend in the kitchen as we talked about life and food while she prepped our dinner. We will definitely be hiring Amber again in the future, especially around the holidays!

About

I'm love my clients and I want to know who they are as people. Getting to know what they do in their lives outside of our sessions together really helps me know what types of things they struggle with and what their strengths are. If I have a client who has kids and a busy life style I know that he or she needs the energy and the strength to do more than just keep up with them.

Q & A

Answers to commonly asked questions from the experts on Thumbtack.

How much does a nutritionist cost?

A nutritionist provides expertise and guidance to help clients with all diet-related health matters, including losing weight, gaining muscle, improving their sports performance, and managing diabetes or high cholesterol. Nutritionists can help people learn to follow special diets in a healthy way, such as becoming vegetarian or vegan or developing a low-sodium or gluten-free eating plan. The average national cost of a nutritionist is $60 to $100. Nutritionists often require an initial consultation with a new client, during which they’ll take a medical history, assess the client’s nutritional needs, and determine the best course of action; this first meeting usually averages $100-$120 for a 45-minute to 90-minute consultation. Subsequent nutritional counseling sessions generally cost less, ranging from an average of $45 for a half-hour session to $60-$90 for a one-hour session. Like many professional service providers, nutritionists may offer discounts through package pricing. For instance, a one-month package with two sessions and email support costs an average of $190; a three-month package with three sessions and email support costs an average of $360; and a six-month package with six sessions and email support costs an average of $540.

How much do private cooking lessons cost?

You can take private cooking classes to have fun, to learn a new skill, to improve your health, to bond with your partner, to enjoy a playful first date or to have a unique birthday party experience. Nationally the average cost of private cooking lessons ranges between $100 and $150. Prices can vary, depending on where you live, the type of cooking class you’re taking, the ingredients the chef provides, and the reputation of the chef. Cooking classes with Anthony Bourdain will clearly cost more than classes with a local restaurant owner. The number of people in the class will also affect the cost, with group lessons often priced per person to account for the cost of ingredients. For example, for group lessons, a brunch workshop may cost an average of $70 per person, a steak dinner with sides could cost an average of $80-$85 per person, and a sushi lesson could cost an average of $100 per person. Ingredients play a major role in cost, as the chef will pre-purchase the food you will be working with. Weekday classes will usually cost less than weekend classes.

Are nutritionists covered by health insurance?

Nutrition counseling can be a critical component of good health care, especially for people recently diagnosed with diabetes or high cholesterol who need to adhere to a specific diet. People also meet with nutritionists for help developing a healthy vegetarian or vegan diet, developing an eating plan to lose weight or gain muscle, or improving their sports performance by changing their diet. Nutritionists may be covered by health insurance depending on your reason for meeting with them. Nutrition counseling is more likely to be covered if it is part of a doctor-prescribed treatment for a particular medical condition, such as diabetes, obesity, high blood pressure or coronary heart disease. For example, Medicare covers medical nutrition therapy services only for people diagnosed with diabetes or kidney disease, as long as they get a referral from their doctor. Also, insurance providers more often cover nutrition visits if the patient has been referred to a registered dietitian within the carrier’s network of providers. Insurance plans vary greatly, so research your benefits before visiting a nutritionist.
