J&J was able to come out the next day, on a Saturday, no less, did the work exactly as he said and for exactly as he quoted, and was happy to do install the thermostats for me. His rates are phenomenal, Jonathon and his assistant are great guys, I almost forgot they were contractors and not old friends. I've been down the road of service contracts with "the big boys" who always seem to find something wrong with each visit. J&J is now my HVAC contractor.

Out of 5 contractors I chose this one because the contractor was: a) most complete review of existing system b) offered most choices and price points c) very responsive (unusually) d) very professional e) best total value for lifetime of system Most contractors in AZ seems to look at HVAC as a commodity... expectations seem to be that a low price will get the job. Compared to Chicago, these contractor are not professional do not do a thorough job and don't follow up. Link Mechanical is heads above other contractors.
