I highly recommend Matt. My concerns about starting personal training were: I haven't ever lifted weights before, I wasn't sure about having a male personal trainer, I thought I might hate it. But I have had a great experience. Matt makes the workouts difficult but accessible. It isn't at all uncomfortable that he is a man. And I always leave feeling happy that I went. He is really nice, professional and helps me work toward my goals.
These reason Matt is outstanding is his knowledge. Matt has two college degrees. One degree in fitness and the other in nutrition. Most personal trainers hold a certificate. You won't be disappointed.
Nadine is an amazing personal trainer. She has such a diverse array of workouts that you never get bored, and she also has a genuine interest in your success which is such a great motivator. My personal gains and losses have been so astronomical after 3 months with her, I can't wait to see where it goes from here! If you are not happy with your figure or performance and you live around Tempe, this is your best choice by far.
Gregory great personal trainer , very knowledgeable!i have been seen great results because he cares about clients and want them to achieve their goals . Every evening i had to sent him a screenshot of my daily intake, also he knew exactly what my weight should be by the end of the week . If i wasn’t there it’s because i ate something that I’m not supposed too or drink beer during the week :) i lost 10 lb in 28 sessions . I’m doing 3 sessions per week !Thank you Grégory:)
I've only just begun my training with Brian but it's easy to tell this is going to be just exactly what I was looking for. I needed someone knowledgeable who would know how to work with certain joint issues I have and he most definitely does. He understands the whole picture, including nutrition, and it gives me a lot of confidence that I'm going to easily hit my goals. To add to that, when you hire a personal trainer you have a certain expectation of physical fitness and Brian is one of those that "looks" like a personal trainer, so it's obvious that he takes his own advice. I'm excited about the upcoming months! :)
I was always intimidated to join a gym and never thought I would have a personal trainer!! When I met Derek, I was surprised how caring he was. he understood that I did not have a lot of experience working out or using weighs or machines. Derek listened to my short and long term goals and tailored a program that would help me with my nutritional, resistance training and cardiovascular needs to meet these goals. With constant encouragement from Derek, following his nutritional plan and being accountable (making my training appointments with him), i started to see results within weeks. Within 4 months i lost 40 lbs and exceeded my short term goal. For my long term goal, Derek worked on my endurance and strength training. My LBM suddenly became my new focus. Derek is meticulous when it comes to using any of the machines or free weights. Derek watches over you like a hawk! He makes sure you get the most benefit from the machines by accurately calculating the amount of weight to push,, showing you the proper form to use to get the best results and most importantly, making sure you don't hurt yourself. I learned to listen to Derek, follow his instruction and be accountable. And as a result, i am in the best shape of my life! I am 51 years old and can say i've never felt better, physically and mentally. I thank Derek for getting me to this point and providing guidance and encouragement. Derek applies the knowledge and methods of exercise acquired from his degree and certification in Exercise Science. Being educated and certified to provide the ultimate personal training experience for his clients is what sets Derek apart from his peers. I highly recommend Derek Stone as a personal trainer BUT only if you seek results!
Nick is super energetic and motivating! A true health and personal training professional. We are taking our workouts to the next level with couples and private sessions. He always has new and challenging techniques to keep us motivated. Never a dull moment!
Last summer I decided I was ready to look into exercise assist type options - gym, personal trainer, classes, etc. During my search, I came across Keleigh at Balanced Strength. I liked the idea of being able to work out in a home-based setting, and she had excellent reviews, so I emailed her. She was prompt in her reply and very courteous. I met with Keleigh the following week and I learned just how challenging Pilates is. But I liked it enough to go back . Keleigh creates challenging workouts, but she's also very good at making sure you rest when you need to. And if something doesn't feel right during any part of the workout, she's good at making instant modifications to avoid injury. Keleigh is also good about changing things up. Minus a few scheduling conflicts, I've seen her weekly for 6 months now and have only repeated a couple of exercises that I can remember. We have also incorporated a few HIIT workouts and even a hybrid of HIIT with Pilates. I have struggled with liking exercise my entire life, but I actually look forward to my weekly sessions with Keleigh. I highly recommend her!
I've had several trainers in the past, but I have to say Jessica is by far the best. She is extremely knowledgeable and actually cares about not only my health and fitness but she cares about my well-being and me as a person. She's laser focused during our sessions and constantly ensuring that I have appropriate biomechanics and technique. Another thing she does that none of my other trainers ever did is a functional movement screen. After the screen and the corrective exercises she prescribed I've been moving better and with less aches and pains than ever in my life! Also, she is very up to date on any and everything related to exercise or fitness as she is always informing me of some fascinating new research she's discovered. She is committed to her craft and passionate about helping others. Jessica is also dependable and has a fabulous personality and demeanor...i wish I found Jessica 10 years ago. I just can not say enough good things about her. If you are looking for an EXCELLENT trainer with OPTIMAL results, don't waste your time looking at other trainers. Stop what you're doing and get on the schedule with Jessica, she's the best there is. If I could give 100 stars I would!
The best trainer in Scottsdale, period. Dolores is an extraordinary trainer and fitness coach. I highly recommend the STARTUP program. Not only do you get a feel for Dolores' expertise and capabilities, she provides a comprehensive assessment of your physical strength, cardio-fitness, and flexibility. The assessment also serves as a benchmark to measure your results from Day 1. I saw quick gains in my strength, stamina, flexibility and more importantly, I lost fat in my mid-section. Plus, she really knows her nutrition and she's so nice! Tough, but nice.
I loved working out with Brian Espinoza! Made my workouts feel like no workout at all. Always pushing me and motivating me to do more and surpassing my goals. Also, I love the clean and professional environment. There is a variety of equipment available to work with and all is in an excellent working condition. Highly recommend Brian and all the Personal Trainers at that facility. They are all super nice and friendly to everyone not just their clients. Wonderful experience over all.

I think one of my favorite parts of working with Gage is how much he honors the body. Not just in the expected sense of 'I'm a personal trainer, let's get swole' but in the sense of our body being our vehicle in this lifetime. We are intended to move in these physical forms and Gage supports, facilitates and motivates that movement. Through his honoring of our intended action, coupled with his current knowledge and commitment to constant learning, he creates a nurturing but disciplined experience. Liz Brooks is truly an amazing personal trainer! She works with me as a whole person; physically, mentally, and emotionally. Patrick Thomas has been my Personal Trainer for 2+ years. Patrick took me from post-physical therapy for cervical radiculopathy to a fitness level I now feel comfortable with. Patrick is highly skilled. He's the perfect combination of Tough and Warm. Pushing you to your max. Patrick works with all levels of clients and has the ability to work with "the whole person". I work out twice a week with Dino and he is fantastic to work with. I have asthma and he is very good at giving varied activity sessions that push me right to the edge of my lung's abilities without going over. I think he hears my breathing better than I do! Highly recommended for people with asthma. Also, I love that it's a trainers gym so no one watches you work out, everyone is focused on their own work which is nice when you are shy/ not in shape, like I am :) Dino also gave me a meal plan and I do a food journal which is very helpful. I feel confident that working with Dino will get me in good shape and reach my goals of working my lungs out safely.
Zach Pearson from Pearson Fitness has been a personal trainer for more than 10 years. For him, this is a long-term career helping others achieve their goals. He's always on-time, reliable, professional, supportive and yet holds you accountable for not just your workout routine but for how you eat and your overall lifestyle. I have struggled on/off with trying to tone-up and eat well for most of my adult life and the only times I have shown real progress are when I follow his guidance and direction without straying.He does a great job at switching up workout routines and watching clients like myself with our form in order to prevent injuries and get maximum results.
