Geoff is one of the best Handyman in all of Southern Arizona, hands- down to do any job. While Dinosaur Plumbing's work was left unfinished and over-payed, Geoff completely fixed the problem: A a leaky faucet in the shower. He also Installed an outdoor flood light, equipped with motion sensor and all. If there's something needing and expertise hand, I call Geoff because I know he'll get the job well done, and done right.

This was a complex job (plumbing-related with a kitchen faucet) that required us to order the particular part. Gary did a fine job the day he came out and gave us a temporary patch that lasted until the part was available. Gary himself was unable to complete the job, once the part arrived from Kohler, due to circmstances totally beyond his control. He is pleasant to work with and always kept us informed of his schedule changes.

We were looking for a contractor to do some remodling on a property is being sold. Steve was very responsive when we initially started interviewing contractors. He came out took measurements, considered both our needs and wants for the remodel and provided us an accurate quote. We left Steve and his crew to do their work, they finished a bit earlier then the predicated timeline and we had no surprise charges at the end. Steve is very trustworthy and went the extra mile with the details. We plan to use him on our own home and would highly recommend him.

Frank essentially remodeled my house over a two year period. first hired for some exterior repairs on my chimney and tile work at my front entrance.Fantastic job. Got many very nice comments. Later hired to put down Bamboo flooring in several areas and to tile my entrance areas inside house. Another great job and lots of great comments. I next hired him to do my bathrooms. did painting, tile work, and some plumbing. again I got great comments. Lastly hired Frank for some fencing upgrades in my garden. created a one of a kind sunburst pattern. figured out the angles and had it done in a couple of days. really managed to impress my neighbors. All of Frank's work was the best. Frank will impress anyone who hires him with quality of workmanship.

We had a gas leak in our foundation that required a re-routing of our gas lines from the meter to our various appliances. Agile gave the most reasonable price of the four estimates we received. Daniel was quick in delivering his quote and began work the next day. He and his crew were very professional, worked without delay, and communicated what they were doing throughout. I am happy with the completed job and the inspector even remarked on how well the work was performed. These guys were responsive, well priced, and full of useful plumbing tips. I had a great experience and highly recommend them for any of your plumbing needs.

Hired because i need a licensed / certified contractor to help with a few repairs. I had a short time frame to complete the job (selling). Great work, was able to trouble shoot the problem and complete the job during the limited requested time frame. Provided a detailed invoice! Only negative was late for appointment.

Q & A

Answers to commonly asked questions from the experts on Thumbtack.

What are plumbers and what do they do?

Plumbers are skilled professionals who are trained to install and maintain pipes and systems for drinking water, sewage and drainage. They usually have trained through four- to five-year training programs, which include apprenticeships, via trade schools and community colleges. Plumbers’ areas of expertise typically go beyond pipes to include mathematics, blueprint reading, plumbing codes and water distribution. They handle plumbing emergencies, such as broken pipes or clogged drains, and install and maintain everything from a new piping system to a replacement faucet. Plumbers also know how to install bathtubs and showers, toilets, water heaters and dishwashers. Plumbers may work on residential or commercial sites, sometimes designing and laying out a pipe system during construction.

How do you find a good plumber?

Whether you need a plumber to perform drain repair, install a new fixture, or replace rusty pipes, you need to make sure you hire someone reliable who will finish your job on time and within budget. Start by asking the plumbers on your short list these questions:

  • What is the total cost? Make sure your estimate includes materials and labor. Find out whether the plumber will be providing the materials and whether you’re being charged an hourly rate (which is variable) or a flat fee.
  • Is removal and cleanup included in the job? Some plumbers leave behind old parts, while others include the cleanup in the cost.
  • Is the work guaranteed? Find out whether the work (as well as the parts or fixtures) are guaranteed under a warranty.
