I worked with Baron for a month while I was working in San Jose. My goal was to kick start myself back into a healthier lifestyle and hopefully lose some weight. What impressed me about Baron was his smiley approach to each training. He ensured that each training was a challenge but we always had fun. He was able to give a comprehensive work out despite the poor resources in my hotel gym. By the end of our time together I had toned up and built muscle. I did not lose weight (one of the intended goals) but felt that I had been given the kick start that I had asked for to help me step back to a healthier life style (main goal). In hindsight I would have asked Baron for more help nutritionally (though I am not sure if this is a service offered). To wrap up though...I had a lot of fun and always looked forward to my training which I cannot always say about a gym session. It was a great way to spice up my fitness regime and I would certainly recommend Baron to others.
Arielle is a very straightforward, hardworking, and dedicated trainer. She is helping me build my body so that I can have more energy and strength to do the things I love most. She really knows her stuff and most importantly she pays very close attention to where my limits are so that I feel safe. She stays in communication and always follows up when necessary. For anyone who feels they need a personal trainer to show them the ropes or give them the motivation to reach their physical fitness goals I would definitely recommend Arielle.
I've worked with other personal trainers in the past. But my experience with John exceeded my expectations for several reasons. Upon meeting him I felt quickly at ease. He was able to quickly assess my physical ability and pushed me just enough past my comfort level. I had an amazing workout! He was very encouraging and positive towards me. It was very obvious he was extremely knowledgeable not only in training but he also came up with a detailed strategy to help me reach my fat loss goals especially with my nutrition. I feel very confidant in his ability to help me. I also know he will keep me free from injury. He exceeded my expectations. It was the best experience I've had with any personal trainer.
I had one workout session with BJ Daniels. He listened to what type of workout I wanted to do along with intensity, focusing on strength training. He also included a stretch at the end of the session. Informed of available supplements based on my sport that I play and what would help pre and post during workouts, practices and game. Thanks BJ!
I highly recommend Whole Person Fitness to everyone. Lily is first of all very nice. She is knows how to access my needs, fitness level, works with my limitations, prior injuries and physical weaknesses to put together a challenging, kick butt workout tailor made for me. In two and a half months I have gained strength, lung capacity, fitness, muscle, muscle tone, endurance, flexibility,confidence, and much more. I have lost the chronic knee pain, fatigue, inches. Lily, listens and gives me exercises that I never thought I could do, builds me up slowly. As a 60 + woman with chronic health issues I can say I am much healthier since finding Lily. Lily truly cares and overs wise nutritional counsel as well. I am blessed to have found Whole Person Fitness and Lily. If I can do it, you can too.
Josh worked with me through a local boot camp. Even though my fitness level was much lower than the rest of the class, Josh demonstrated modifications to exercises and workouts so I could feel successful and get stronger. He also offered personalized advice on diet and nutrition, which I needed to hear. If you do what Josh tells you to, you will definitely get results!
I have been working out with Chris for a few months now and have definitely seen results. He emphasizes correct form and varies the workout each time. He is encouraging and challenging at the same time. My friend and I train 2x a week and both of us look forward to the session and have been motivated to exercise on our own as well. He is very knowledgable and understands where we are in our fitness level. As a Doctor of Physical Therapy and a mom with two young children, I would highly recommend Chris as a trainer. I wanted to try interval training but I really needed help to get motivated to do so. That's when I met Fernando and he helped me out a lot. He listened to what I wanted, gave me the intensity I was looking for and made the sessions rather enjoyable for me. My sessions were about 30 minutes but that was all I needed because I was so tired and sore by the time the session was over every time. I would recommend him to anyone.
I was in town to start a satellite office for my business and living in the Desert for 6 months. Working out in the apartment complex gym one evening I was doing planks when Flavia approached me and asked if she could show me something with my technique I immediately complied instantly improving the exercise! I was hooked and trained with Flavia for the next 4 months getting ready for a Mud Run that did work out for me. At the end of my training I felt if I could run not only a Mud Run but an all out Spartan Run! She even taught me how to swim properly! She knows what it takes to reach your fitness goals!
During phase 1 of the release candidate program I was able to gain my confidence back that I hadn't had since my jr high years. Because of this I had enough confidence and faith to step outside the box and apply for a new job. Everything has been looking up since the completion of this program. Xander is passionate and well educated with fitness training. He continues to help me with my personal goals in fitness on tightening and toning. I personally travel from Roseville to his location at his home, he is looking to open a facility in the area soon though. He also travels directly to your home should you choose. Xander is realiable, dependable, and understanding. Great personality and sense of humor helps the painful moments also. Give him a try, you won't be disappointed, no matter what level of fitness you are at. Whether it's tightening, nutitional planning, toning, weight loss/management or just another hobby - he's great!
My experience with Jay's services has been nothing less of 5 Stars. Jay has been thorough with work out plans and also with educating me on better nutrition habits. Sessions are very intense, client centered, and non rushed. All of his services comes at a price that you will not be able to find anywhere in this area. Where do I began, Jarrod is an amazing coach hands down! When I first started training with him I always felt I was going to fail, but he believe in me so I started to, he got me in the best shape of my life and ready for a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu tournament in 4 months in the boys division. Jarrod is the definition of intensity he loves doing this, and that's what makes his coaching that much more beneficial cause all he want you to do is try, never give up and push your self. By training with him I never thought it would effect my thought process my emotions and my life in such a positive way. I wouldn't want to train with anyone else. I have such high respect for Jarrod! Nothing but amazing coaching he's a joy to be around and he knows what he's doing! Why wouldn't you want a instructor like him?
Working with Michelle was the best experience I could have imagined. She sat down with me listened to what I wanted. She helped me create a meal plan. Her work out routines were always intense and always ended on time. Always with a beautiful smile on her face, always with that energy that just transmits to you. Michelle works with all ages and defenitly knows her stuff. Do not hesitate to call her with any questions, you'll be happy you did.
Cesar leads the HIIT (high intensity interval training) class at my gym. He does a fabulous job! He keeps the class interesting and challenging. Cesar's friendly personality also makes it a pleasure to be there (despite the hard work!). Highly recommend Cesar as a fitness trainer.

Kris is wonderful to work with. I've been training with him for about 3 months now. We meet twice a week for an hour and I've seen some great results so far. I'm getting leaner and stronger every week. He mixes cardio and strength training intervals which always push me but he does an excellent job at keeping me motivated!
Geoff Quares has been training my family for the past several months and I couldn't be happier with the results. My wife and son are avid Muay Thai and jiu jitsu fighters and are very impressed with the quality of training Geoff provides. In December of 2014, I too decided to put my gloves on and give Muay Thai a shot. This past month, Geoff has combined intensive physical training (both cardio and muscle-building) with his Muay Thai expertise, to create a perfect program for my needs. I have gained knowledge and skills, as well as improved my physical health substantially over the past several weeks and look forward to what is to come. My three year old daughter is eager to take his classes and I highly recommend Geoff as a trainer for all ages and levels.
Having workouts with Kendahl is something I always look forward to in the week. Each workout session is always intense, uplifting, and satisfying. Nothing less. It also tends to be different as well, not the same old workout every time. His training style is very motivating. Now, keep in mind when it comes to me, I tend to not have the best self confidence, especially with my body. But with Kendahl, he makes sure that I don't have that on my conscious while we work to better myself. There has been moments where I would talk down about myself down and he's there to snap me back to focus, only to ignite the desire to not only become pyshically strong, but mentally strong too. Kendahl will always have his eyes on you, making sure the form is just right and your effort is at best. If were to do an exercise incorrectly or my form was bad, he is always glad to take a pause and show me himself. He also explains thoroughly for me to understand the importance of doing whatever he tells me to do. Believe me when I say that if you are considering on investing Kendahl as your professional trainer, it's a great decision. You'll be happy that you did when you've achieve that body you been dreaming of.
I had the opportunity to work with Lauren when I first decided that it was time to improve my physical fitness. Lauren was a valuable resource in improving my nutrition. She always made time to educate me, not only by recommending specific foods or nutrition plans, but explaining the science behind those recommendations. When it came to my actual workouts, Lauren always knew when I was holding back and would call me out, not allowing me to cheat myself. She also made sure that I scaled back the intensity when I had, or was rehabbing, an injury. Lauren knows how to get the most from her clients and does so in a safe manner. She is strict when it comes to performing movements correctly as she truly has her clients best interest at heart. Overall, Lauren is a very knowledgeable and motivating trainer. Anybody who chooses to work with Lauren will see the benefit of doing so.
I had an impromptu July Personal Trained 2 Go Session... If AK doesn't know you, he'll ask some pertinent, seemingly unrelated, personal questions about you before you all get started...trust me it all connects...As a former Division 1 athlete, I'm used to the intensity that comes with training, especially when it's one on one. AK (gently and while laughing) reminded me that I don't have to be as intense anymore to get and stay fit in my life after performance athletics. I can still get the same, if not better, results by stopping to smell the roses (or dive into the ocean) in the middle of a session. He'll even have you lead a portion of the workout if you have a particular grasp on a fitness aspect he's interested in getting into like, say...Yoga, lol. He's about training the "whole" person, not just the athlete or person trying to achieve a fitness goal... Grade A. I'd go for another round for sure. #Trained2Go
Kellie did one-on-one training with me, we did a 45 minutes high intensity workout. Some of the exercises had to be explain to me because I'd never performed them. She was very patient and explained the do's & don'ts behind exercises and stretches. At the end of our training I was extremely satisfied, she worked me out hard! I didn't think I'd be as exhausted as I was, she truly knows how to provide the work-out you ask for. I recommend her to anyone that's looking to get toned, strong & healthy.
Molly is providing PT in volleyball for my 14 yo daughter. Molly has a great knowledge of the game and trains my daughter to be strong in her position. The physical training is intense and information given to improve technique and understanding of play is tremendously helpful & My daughter actually looks forward to the training. We've seen various coaches of all different sports over the years and we highly recommend Molly!
