ShapeUp Studio is for me the best place to train, they have a great flexibility regarding the opening hours which allows me to train really early morning (5am) before going to work but they have also options for late classes or during the weekend. Markshane and all the trainers are really friendly which makes the sessions more pleasant, enjoyable and help you going beyond your limits. The exercises change all the time so you wonât get bored doing the same routine and it keeps your motivation high. A good thing also is that Markshane gives you advises regarding your food habits. About the results, my goal was to get some muscles, be leaner but stronger too and not skinny and weakâ¦ I can definitely see and feel the transformation. So far, the sessions have been for me a great way to kick start my days and I highly recommend trying this place, you will get addicted to it. Alex.
I have had trainers before. However, never one like Megan, who cares beyond the workout. Her overall wellness lifestyle is motivating and inspirational. Her classes are filled with support and drive. I like that she is not a pushover or a Drill Sargent. Most of all she knows her stuff. She is always reading and learning, adding more credentials to her resume...and keep classes fresh and different. What she has created is a community of wellness with her blog, videos, and app. I would recommend Megan to anyone who wants to make a positive change in their life.
Working with Rich was mind blowing! I have always been an athlete but training with Rich took me to the next level. Rich really takes the time to work with you sonyou actually learn how to reach your full potential. I've been training at FitNez since November of 2015. I have always been nervous of lifting heavy and even more anxious of back squats and deadlifts. Nez and Robert provided the guidance and the knowledge I needed to reach my goals of competing in my first bikini competition. I went from an athletic 106lbs to a strong 117lbs. Yes all my clothes fit...they fit better actually. And I can lift like a boss now. The atmosphere at FitNez is extremely fun and supportive. I've met great people working out there. No unnecessary grunting, no creepers, no weaklings, no judgement. All the members have different goals, different bodies, but we all work towards success and Nez and Robert help get us there.
I did a lot of research on the internet on Fitness Trainers before deciding on Colby and was thoroughly impressed & satisfied with the training program he set out for me. I loved the professionalism of the whole experience; his knowledge, work ethic, the FACILITY & STAFF. It was not a "meat locker" but people with a common purpose working hard to attain it. What I love was Colby was 100% on me in training ... no wandering eyes, answering phone with other clients and NEVER gave me the sense he was board with what he was doing. Always encouraging and keenly aware of what I was going thru mentally as well as physically. Though I have moved out of the area, I still hitting him up with advice and help & he always responds ... he is the man! Try that with some of the other trainers after your contract is up! Highly recommend him to anyone that is serious about their training on ALL levels. I am no pin up model lol. Thanks Colby!
I've start training with Jonna back in September 2017, and have seen great results! I used to run and do cardio everyday, with light weight training. After training with Jonna for just a month, I could see muscle definition that I have never seen before. Now, fast forward 6 months, and I'm training for my first bikini competition! Jonna really inspires and pushes me to look passed my limits! I highly recommend Jonna as your personal trainer :)

I gave Bobbi an impossible goal: get me bikini ready in 8 weeks. This being especially impossible since I had never lifted weights before. Not only did I meet my goal- I had people coming up to me complimenting me on my body and fitness for the first time in my life!! I learned so much about fitness in general that ill take with me for the rest of my life, and she is great to work out with. I always looked forward to our workout of the week. It has taken me several years to find a coach like Ronnie najjar. I have trained at several of the top gyms in San Diego and many of them focus too much on fitness and not skill development. Ronnie is great at giving you both. I was looking for a gym where I can learn to fight and compete. I have seen Ronnie over and over again train people who have just walked into the gym and prepare them for competition. You can see a big difference in the skill level of his fighters compared to others. He focuses on the little details that makes a huge difference to make the technique effective. I learn something new from him every session or he corrects my small mistakes to improve my skills. The culture of the gym is perfect, everyone is serious about mastering Muay Thai but are close like a family. If you are serious about learning authentic Muay Thai I can't recommend 8 tribe enough.
I have been training with Chad Davison for almost 3 years. At SelfMade training facility in Temecula. I can honestly say I have never had a better trainer. I had some pretty high goals when I started. And through his planning and strategizing and of course our hard work. I have achieved my goals and have set new ones. I became a IFBB Bikini Pro with his coaching and training. He has always supported me, pushed me and gave me the encouragement to continue my bodybuilding career. He pays attention to all the details. Including a meal plan and appropriate workout plan for what ever my goals entail. He listens and gives advice when needed and is always on time! He is very knowledgeable in nutrition and body composition. I highly recommend him for anybody at any level of fitness!
Trainers not only teach, but they also train for their competitions and races. Whether it be NPC, Tough Mudder, Spartan, etc. Each trainer encourages proper form, teach breathing techniques, and nutrition. They are non threatening, supportive and love what they do. Celebrate with us when we meet our goals. Class sizes are just right. Not too big so you get individualized attention. If you are looking for a place, this is the place to go.
I've worked with several trainers over the years and Robert is the best and most knowledgeable by far. He also really cares about his clients his 1 hour sessions we usually spend an hour to 90 minutes trying to get some of my range of motions problems straightened out.
I went to Greg when I decided to to my first NPC bodybuilding competition. He really taught me so much about the competition aspect of the sport and help me expand my knowledge and get me started on the right track. With his help and education of the dieting and prepping guidelines, I was able to take that knowledge and help further myself in everything bodybuilding. I would highly recommend him to anyone interested in getting under the stage lights.
I first met Colette when she was the instructor of several group classes I was taking: Total Body Conditioning, Yoga, and Pilates. I had been accustomed to having a private trainer and was surprised at what an excellent instructor she was and how much I enjoyed her classes. She began each class with a welcome and then inquired if any of us had any special problems, physical limitations or injuries that she needed to be aware of. A we progressed through the session she would offer ways to modify the exercise or move should someone have that need. Whats more, she paid very close attention to each individual, making sure each of us were performing the exercise or move correctly and with the right form. She would always encourage each of us to give our personal best but to not feel the need to compete with others in the class, rather only with ourselves. Later on due to my personal schedule I had private sessions with Colette and was equally happy with the attention she gave my specific needs. Colette is well educated in her field and highly skilled. Luke Propst from The Diet Doc has been such an important part of my fitness journey. I have been working with him over a year now and am so grateful I found him. Ty takes his training to another level. He is extraordinarily knowledgable and his love of training and body building shows in the extra effort he puts forth as a trainer. Ty takes the time to explain everything from how to do the exercise correctly (which helps avoid injury), to what muscles you should be utilizing, to how to property isolate those muscles and he gives instruction on proper hand/feet/knee etc placement for each exercise. All of this information combined allowed me to get better and faster results while minimizing any risk of injury. I became stronger and my muscles were more defined within weeks. For me personally, I was a dancer for decades and thought I knew my way around a gym/weight room so I was hesitant to hire a trainer. However, after hiring Ty as my trainer, I learned that there was so much that I didn't know about working out and it only took weeks of training under his program to see results!! He taught me how to work out property and how to better utilize my time during my workouts to get maximum results. He does a complete training program with meal prep and/or meal plans. He is very responsive to any program questions I have. I couldn't be happier with the results I've had and look forward to continuing my training with Ty. His knowledge and enthusiasm for training makes the entire experience extremely positive.
