Baron is an exceptional personal trainer whose passion for health and fitness is inspiring. I've been training with him for the past 5 months and each session is so much more than just a killer workout. After years and years of wanting to have a personal trainer, I always pushed it off. But something about turning 25 was a wake up call for me. So I made the plunge and did my research and looked into plenty of Personal Trainers but none of them really stood out. It wasn't until using this service and Anthony reaching out to me is a very fast manner that I took the opportunity to meet with him. Let's just say after a quick 15 min phone call and getting to know one another, I was hooked and ready to go. I started my training session on Monday and for someone who really hasn't stepped foot in a GYM or lifted weights, Anthony understands that and works to your level. During the 30 min workout (which felt longer at times haha) he was with me every step of the way, motivating and encouraging me to complete my sets. It has truly been the best investment I have ever made and look forward to accomplishing my goals. You won't go wrong with God's Gym & Anthony as your trainer. This guy knows his stuff!

I've worked out with trainers before, even one that I loved, and the experience with Anthony has still been on a different level entirely. For the last 5 weeks, I have had the pleasure of having Anthony as my trainer. I have found capacities in my body that I didn't know existed. Anthony is hardly summed up by a five star review. Anthony has one of the sunniest and positive personalities you'll never meet. The workouts are different every day and are fun and enjoyable and never boring. The gym environment is also great. From other trainers and other gym goers, everyone is kind, supportive, and encouraging. Expect to be greeted by everyone when you arrive. Since my first day, the atmosphere has been nothing but positive. I feel very welcomed and extremely comfortable. I've been very impressed with my experience thus far. I love the that God's cultivates a great mix of clientele. I see both men and women (regardless of age, level of fitness, or experience) working on their goals.

My review is specifically for Anthony, my personal trainer of four sessions. He is kind, funny, motivational, positive, enthusiastic, responsive, and was never intimidating nor condescending. He was patient with me when I had to reschedule sessions again and again because of my personal schedule, and always showed up to sessions with a smile, ready to fist bump you. As a complete beginner to using the gym equipment, he helped me feel at ease and competent. One thing to be aware of, though, is that you may share Anthony with a couple of other folks during your session (perhaps there are 1-on-1 options available), which works pretty well as we take turns using the machines. It just means that you may have to be more proactive in grabbing his attention to ask questions, if you do have any and which I know he'd be happy to answer. All in all, 5 stars for Anthony!

I've worked with a few personal trainers over the years and I have to say that hands down, Evan is the best trainer I have ever worked with. I started working out with Evan over a year ago. I have chronic low back pain, and had just had a procedure that was meant to reduce swelling and allow me to exercise more and strengthen my core. I had been doing physical therapy for awhile, but found that the workouts were too mellow, and I didn't really notice any improvement in my core strength. My wife had actually been working out with Evan for a few months and she recommended I try a few workouts with him. Evan has been amazing. The workouts are intense and challenging. He focuses on doing intervals of a quick series of strengthing exercises, with a burst of cardio in between sets that keeps your heart rate elevated for the entire workout. Given my back issues, he is very good about checking in to make sure he is not stressing or straining my lower back (or any other injury I might have picked up). I have noticed dramatic improvement in my core strength and overall fitness in my time with Evan. He also has been willing to email me personalized workouts I can do on my own for days when I'm not working out him. I agree with all the other posts here -- 5 stars. Evan is great.

For a while I had been looking into finding a personal trainer to learn the proper form of workout and better motivation. Evan is a spectacular personal trainer. He's very knowledgeable about what he is doing and will tune the workout towards your weak points. The first session he do your measurements and observer your strengths and then make a plan based on your time to help you reach your goal. I've worked with other personal trainers in the past. But my experience with John exceeded my expectations for several reasons. Upon meeting him I felt quickly at ease. If you have food items that you feel you can't live without, she'll help you work them into your diet in the best way possible. -Kendall is always on time! Even on the days I happen to arrive early, she's there waiting for me. -She's great about scheduling our time together and does a check-in with her clients every Sunday to reconfirm the schedule for the week. -Safety is her #1 priority in teach her clients how to lift weights and get into shape. She's always asking for feedback about feel, comfort, pain levels, etc. Only once I had to tell her about pain I was experiencing in my knee, and she immediately modified my motion to alleviate the pain. -Kendall is an excellent motivator and really helps you get past your own mental blocks about your body and losing weight. -She's honest about necessary commitment vs. personal goals and explains her rates/pricing really well. -The gym where she hosts clients is really the most intimidating part of the experience. On any given day you'll see people training and practicing for body building competitions. If you don't mind learning alongside the pros, you'll be fine. -Everyone at that gym also works out with a personal trainer, so it's a very comfortable experience being around people working on the same goals that you have -I am still in my first month training with Kendall but am already seeing results in how my clothes are fitting me. This is the perfect place to come to get fit. My usual MO is sign up for fitness classes or trainers, get pushed really hard and give up in a week or two. Youniquely has a different style from other trainers, bootcamps and fitness classes I have taken. The training is truly uniquely fitted to your needs and accelerated or decelerated based on how you are doing and whether you want to or not. This is the difference between buying a dress that is mass-produced vs getting a custom fitted gown!!

Dima is very knowledgeable and professional. He is always positive and very attentive during the workout to help me use the correct form to make each exercise effective and to prevent injuries. He doesn’t give me more than I can handle but he also knows how to challenge me to go to the next level. In December 2016, I found Scott Meade through Thumbtack. Scott was the first Personal Trainer to respond to my inquiry. I felt an immediate connection with him. He invited me to meet him at the gym on a Sunday. He wanted to give me a tour of the gym and for us to have a casual chat. As an obese female, I was extremely nervous to meet him. He made me feel at ease and I appreciated the time he spent with me talking about his passions; exercise and nutrition. I sensed how genuine he was. His excitement is what jumpstarted my excitement to begin this journey with him. I started training with Scott on January 2nd. Here are just a few reasons why I need Scott besides me on this journey: 1) The guy knows his stuff. Not only is he physically fit, but he's also smart. He stays current in his field and never hesitates to share new information to help develop my knowledge. He doesn't just tell me what to do, he provides reasoning and teaches me along the way. 2) He believes in me more than I believe in myself. He never allows my mental blocks to stop me from doing my best. He's positive and encourages me to tap into my positive spirit. Not always easy. 3) He's responsive and organized. He stays on top of my nutrition and provides feedback on what I'm doing well and what I need to change. He doesn't sugar coat things because that's not how we achieve results. Totally makes sense. 4) He's creative with his workouts and thinks outside of the box. Workouts are never repetitious which helps keep me dialed in. I like the variety he incorporates in my plan. 5) When I'm in the gym with him, it's about ME. I could go on and on about Scott. If you're looking for a Personal Trainer, reach out and meet him. If you're looking to have easy workouts, a lax diet plan, and an excuse to go to the gym for a few hours a week- Scott Meade is not your guy. BUT- if you're looking to kick yourself into shape, take your body and overall physical and mental health to the next level, you've found the right man for the job. I was skeptical to start with a personal trainer because I figured I had enough knowledge of weightlifting to push myself into better shape. But looking back, I never would've been able to keep myself as consistent and motivated as I am when training with Scott. I have been working out at a local gym and was fortunate to meet Caterina. Caterina became my personal trainer as of June 2015. Motivation, breaking a sweat, and various strength training moves makes working out with Caterina so much fun and showing results. She is able to pack in a variety of sets with me in 25 minutes. Did I say I break a sweat? Her method is using your body as resistance, which works me so much harder than just weight lifting. But most important of all is that Caterina is your cheerleader. With the extra boost of confidence, you will be pushing yourself further than you ever thought you could.

Mohamed is the best trainer I have ever trained with. I have trained with a number of other trainers before but no one as good as Mohamed. He genuinely cares about his clients and wants us to see results which is why he checks in daily to see how I am feeling. He is an all in one trainer, in the sense he not only helped me get fit physically but also helped me become positive/strong mentally. He saw that I was working out with him but was not happy mentally (job situation) but he helped me deal with it. He such a positive person with a lot to offer. Jared is an amazing trainer. He really cares about the client. A lot of the time I see trainers who don't really care. They tell the client to do an exercise and then leave the client there to go socialize or talk with others. Jared is by your side the entire session making sure that every single rep is perfect form. He is very good at paying attention to detail and makes sure that the client is doing everything properly so that they lose fat and build muscle efficiently without getting injured. He is a hard worker and truly cares about the results and happiness of others. One thing I admire about Jared is that he doesn't pretend like he knows what he is talking about. There is tons of information out there and it's hard to know everything. So, if he is unsure about something (rare) he will research and ask others so that he is confident in the knowledge he is giving to others. I would highly recommend Jared if you're looking to reach your goals in a safe and efficient way. He will hold you accountable and follow up to make sure that you are reaching your results. Jared is one of the few 5 star trainers I have met, and he has even taught me many things. Also, mobility is a huge issue when it comes to working out. If you're not mobile/flexible, your workouts are inefficient. He knows how to fix these muscle imbalances and improve flexibility so that his clients reach their results.

Jared is a great personal trainer. Whatever your goals are, lose weight, gain muscle, etc., he takes his job seriously and will help you. He is not an intense trainer, he is calm, knowledgeable, and always happy to workout with you. He wants you to achieve your goals and is genuinely happy when you are making progress towards your goals.

I really enjoy working with Herman. He is very engaging during the training. Herman will motivate and push you beyond your limit that you didn't even know you are capable of. He focuses on what your goals and your needs are and adjust the workout or meal prep to help achieve it. He is also very responsive and flexible with my capabilities. He will adjust the workout to my needs, my range of motions, and my injuries. When my wrists are acting up, he will alter the exercise and accommodate to my limitations. Not only is he a personal trainer, he is also a friend who cares about how I'm doing in life. He would check up on me on how my injuries are doing or if I'm sore from the workouts. He'll also give me suggestions on how to alleviate the pain or tells me how to stretch to help my soreness. Overall, I am really satisfied with Herman and I am really seeing results!!

When I started going to the gym I did not know what to do. I was always lost, my workouts were not the best. Once I decided to get a personal trainer, I started to notice the difference. My coach, Dylan, has taught me the many different workouts for the different muscle groups. Now I can go to the gym by myself and know what to do. I don’t feel lost anymore. Slowly but surely, I’ve seen results. Muscles are getting bigger, I’ve gotten stronger too. I’m really happy with the results so far.

I did lots of research on personal fitness trainers in the south bay area. I found Ron’s website, researched his training program and emailed him in regards to more information. He returned the email promptly and within the week we were meeting and discussing my goals and starting my training sessions the next week. Ron provides a complete package that is easy to follow yet aggressive to the goals that you are wanting. I have been with him for 9-weeks now and he has exceeded my expectations in a trainer. He is there by your side correcting your techniques; assist when needed but never lets you gives up. Each session he challenges you and provides positive reinforcements to keep you motivated. I am moving forward meeting my goals and Ron has helped provide me with that. Great trainer, very knowledgeable and a great mentor for getting yourself where you want to be physically and mentally. I would recommend him to anyone no matter what stage of fitness you are. He has set a great foundation for my future goal. Can’t thank him enough. If you need to improve your health and fitness Ron is your guy.
