With a background in the medical field, I work to prevent injuries while helping my clients meet their fitness goals. Many trainers will prescribe a cookie-cutter workout program with boring exercises that isolate single muscles. Your body works like a machine, a sum of many moving parts. My programs incorporate fun exercises that work many muscle groups at once. My clients become strong, lean and powerful. I LOVE my job. I get to show up to a beautiful facility and encourage people to be their best self. It brings me great joy to teach clients about their body and its potential. I get to see actual, physical progress in my work; there is nothing better than seeing my clients push past obstacles to achieve huge goals.(show more)

I love helping people achieve there health and fitness goals. There is nothing better then seeing the look on someone's face when they have totally transformed their bodies and people notice ;-)(show more)
Our studio has a primary focus on core strength, functional fitness, and vegetable-forward eating advice. Each program design is unique, but all are rooted in science. The way our studio works is that we offer two intro sessions for $148. The first session will be a full consultation and we'll discuss your health, goals, injuries, etc., and we'll also conduct several movement tests to help determine any muscle imbalances. From there, we'll schedule a second session, which will be a real workout, with either myself or another trainer depending on availability, preferences, etc. Should you decide to continue after those two intro sessions, we'll take biometric measurements, help track your macronutrient levels, provide you with awesome recipes (and smoothies) and take home workouts to maximize your ability to eat healthy and consistently exercise. Coming to the studio to workout is the easy part; going home and continuing to focus on your diet is the hard part. It is our goal to make it as easy as possible for you to be healthy. The best part about the work that I do is that I'm literally helping people every single day. It's great to help people do things they've never done or thought they could do. People come on their own time, and leave feeling great. Fitness is my lifes' work as well as every trainer that works here and we hope to inspire you to live the healthiest life you can.(show more)
I completed my foundational 200hr Yoga Teacher Training in an ashram on the Ganga River in Rishikesh, India. This taught me a strong connection to the authentic practices from the Pantanjali's 8 Limbs of Yoga and the Ashtanga Lineage. In my 4 years in San Francisco, I have almost completed an additional 400hrs of certification with some of the Western world's top instructors that reside in our city. Big gratitude to my teachers Stephanie Snyder, Jason Crandell, and Janet Stone. Their wisdom combined with my studies in India gives me a well rounded understanding of Eastern tradition and modern Western yoga. Aside from the physical benefits of practicing yoga (flexibility, strength, balance, stress relief, pain relief, and more), one of the main benefits I see is a chance for us to practice how we deal with stressful situations. Some of the postures are tricky and challenging, like life, and when we're on the mat, we can practice maintaining calm equanimity of breath through the challenge which actually helps train our nervous system to have a calm response to stressors. This challenge can be anything from standing on one leg, to taking your leg behind your head. It is not important how deep into the posture you go, or how fancy a posture you can do, the real value is simply practicing how you move through it or attempt to move through it (like life, yoga is for everybody, but not everybody needs to or gets to do all the things!). We practice challenging ourselves with humility, watching the thoughts that get in our way, remaining calm, and maintaining a positive attitude. The value is that we go out into the world with less noise in our heads and able to have more composure, balance, and appreciation for all of the mess, stress, and beauty. That's why we call it a practice.(show more)
