I've worked with a few personal trainers over the years and I have to say that hands down, Evan is the best trainer I have ever worked with. I started working out with Evan over a year ago. I have chronic low back pain, and had just had a procedure that was meant to reduce swelling and allow me to exercise more and strengthen my core. I had been doing physical therapy for awhile, but found that the workouts were too mellow, and I didn't really notice any improvement in my core strength. My wife had actually been working out with Evan for a few months and she recommended I try a few workouts with him. Evan has been amazing. The workouts are intense and challenging. He focuses on doing intervals of a quick series of strengthing exercises, with a burst of cardio in between sets that keeps your heart rate elevated for the entire workout. Given my back issues, he is very good about checking in to make sure he is not stressing or straining my lower back (or any other injury I might have picked up). I have noticed dramatic improvement in my core strength and overall fitness in my time with Evan. He also has been willing to email me personalized workouts I can do on my own for days when I'm not working out him. I agree with all the other posts here -- 5 stars. Evan is great.

I worked with Jeremy for over 3 years and he demonstrates a real knowledge on being a personal trainer. He is professional, realiable and very easy to work with. He tunes into his clients needs, strengths and weaknesses. When I first started working with Jeremy I had not worked out for over 15 years and had absolutely no strength. Jeremy was able to help me build up strength and work on great core exercises. I Can believe the strength and insurance I have built up. Jeremy has since gotten certified in being a yoga instructor and meditation. Jeremy is also very versed in proper nutrition. Jeremy is the entire package.
I was initially drawn to Liz because of her knowledge beyond just fitness. Her expertise in sports medicine and injury prevention resonated with my own experience having had two knee injuries in college. My impetus for finding a personal trainer was to get into "wedding shape," but Liz did much more than that. Not only did she help me lose weight, tone up, and guide me when I was confronted with my third knee surgery just a month prior to the wedding day (not to mention the house visits she made while I was on crutches, the home circuits she sent that kept me in shape without hurting my knee, and the frequent check-in texts), but she also helped me regain a sense of self. Because of our work together, I walked down the aisle without crutches and danced until the wee hours, but more importantly, I felt like the greatest version of myself: poised and confident in my body. Fast forward a year and I'm still finding our weekly sessions grounding, inspiring, and transformative. Liz's passion for movement and zeal to better nourish the body and mind is contagious. She is both a mentor and dear friend.
