"After taking a hiatus from lifting, I started training with Jordan in January 2018. His guidance, structure and motivation was exactly what I needed to get me back into shape. Thanks to his hypertrophy and strength programs, and I've dropped 8% body fat in 6 months--all while adding lean mass. Here are my RESULTS with Jordan: Jan 12, 2018: 26.9% body fat | 124lb bodyweight June 15, 2018: 18.3% body fat | 127lb bodyweight Lifts as of June 2018 (no belt): Squat 135lb x 5 Deadlift 155lb x 5 Bench 85lb x 5 Hip thrust 225lb x 6 Dead hang pull ups 5 x 6 sets Jordan is highly experienced and knowledgeable--not only from training clients for the past 10+ years--but from his own training as a hardcore competitive endurance athlete. He finished a 99-mile bike race in Sonoma this May in 5:20 (and came in 1st), has multiple marathons, ultramarathons--and even Ironman--under his belt. What an inspiration!! He also lifts, so his strength-focused clients benefit enormously from his wealth of expertise. Oh yeah, I've seen him bang out 20 dead hang pull ups under 60 seconds--with flawless form! Here are other reasons why Jordan is such an exceptional trainer (though there are too many to list): *He is highly attentive to injury prevention and correct technique. He knows just the right amount to push you, without you compromising your form. He'll have you do corrective stretches and exercises to fix muscle imbalances. *He's super organized. He tracks your workouts and body composition measurements on a shared Google sheet. No old-school "clipboard and paper" workout sheets. *He is a hardcore fitness geek with a science-based approach to training. He stays abreast with the latest strength and conditioning research, for your benefit (he's studying to be CSCS). *He is dedicated to his clients. He is responsive whenever I have a question for him outside of training time. Schedule permitting, Jordan has so generously stayed "overtime" to wrap up my workout--even though I was his last client after a long day! Jordan has gone private and I now train with him at Truve in downtown Oakland. He also trains clients 2 days a week in San Francisco. Jordan epitomizes the best in his field and will help you get the results you're looking for."

"Stephen is an excellent massage therapist. He's definitely very professional and his work quality is superb. He responds very promptly and is punctual. For the knowledge and education that he has as a therapist, he charges a very decent amount. He brings his heated massage table and makes sure that he makes you feel comfortable during the session. Stephen is very kind and has a calming and very spiritual personality that will make you feel very at ease and relaxed during the therapy session. "Jay is a great trainer! He's dedicated to helping his clients reach their goals. When i train with him he is stern but patient. He makes sure that I understand what I'm doing and explains why I'm doing it. he doesn't mind demonstrating difficult exercises over & over if needed. I recommend Jay to anyone who is serious about reaching their goals but my not yet know how yo obtain them."

"I really enjoyed training with Alina because she coached me through an effective work out and also rehabilitation excercises, fully understanding my past chronic pain issues and helping me prevent further injuries. I feel not only stronger, but more confident in my ability to progress to heavier weights and higher intensity workouts. Alina also motivated me to adopt intermittent fasting (IF), which has had a significant impact on my weight management and energy levels. Alina gave me helpful tips on how to start and sustain IF, which I've been doing now for almost 8 months. Overall, Alina has a very strong grasp of mobility, strength, endurance, nutrition and other foundational pieces that trainers need to provide a comprehensive service."

"I highly recommend Natalie Nuno with Zion Health as your personal trainer. I have used her since July 2017 for twice a week of personal training sessions. By December 2017I had lost 30 lbs from 165 down to 135 from working out with her twice a week and on a strict diet. My clothing size changed from a very tight size 14 down to a size 8. My A1C also dropped from 6.4 and being on diabetes medication (6.5 if full blown diabetes) down to 5.5 and my doctor taking me off the diabetes medications. My activity level increased from walking a quarter of a mile and being out of breath to now being able to jog and walk every other minute for a full mile. Natalie keeps changing up the training sessions so they are never boring. She is very adaptable in using the equipment available in my apt gym or the outside environment. She is also able to train you in your own home and brings the training equipment with her to your home. Natalie has a very nice way of encouraging you to push yourself further. I feel good about myself after my work outs in that I got my money’s worth in hiring Natalie Nuno and that I improved in my strength, flexibility, and stamina. I plan on continuing to hire Natalie for all my personal training needs."

"Always a great workout with Ty when I go home to California. He also sends me workout plans to do in Arizona, and will send videos of himself doing the workouts when I don't know what they are. I love that he personally invests in the progress and success of his clients (and friends)!"
