Justin is a well qualified and highly knowledgeable trainer with a great personality to match. Sessions are whatever you want them to be, but he also doesn't let you out of stuff if you're too tired, and always has a plan and structure throughout each session. I get he workouts written out for me to take home and reference for workouts later; he writes the exercises down as we go. This guy will push you because he believes in you. His passion for what he does is blatant, exciting and clear and I look forward to vibing with him every time we get to work together. You won't regret him; one of the best I've worked with and I hire a personal trainer in every city I go to, while on the road for work. Thanks, J! Noreen and Berto are an awesome team!! Hiring a personal trainer was not an easy step for me to take, because what I had seen of personal trainers and at big gyms was a big turn-off. What set him apart initially was that he offered a ‘no gimmicks, no pressure’ approach, was a (or soon to be a) registered dietician, offered additional services as a personal chef, and could do workouts either at his location or mine. When I started, I was in a hectic transition period with my job and so my schedule was unpredictable. Mike completely understood, and worked with me to schedule workout sessions in a very no-pressure way. During workouts, he pays attention (to safety, to how I am feeling and handling it…), and makes adjustments as needed based on the individual person. He started me on a level I could handle and we are building from there. The workouts are interesting and varied, which makes them fun (imagine that!), and I appreciate his positive reinforcement and encouragement, as it pushes me in a positive way to do the best I can. Based on my experience so far, I can say that Mike cares very much about the progress of his students and goes the extra mile to help them reach their goals. In the short amount of time I have been working with him, I have lost 17 pounds (more to go) and I am becoming stronger. As a result am gaining confidence and setting new goals which I am excited to reach! I would definitely recommend Mike and Start Fresh Fitness.

I worked with Daria for a couple of months as a personal trainer. I didn't really know what to expect from her or myself but I was pleased at the way she assessed my physical conditions and developed at work out that pushed me but didn't overdue it. I liked the way she would show me different exercises and always watched my form to make sure I was doing them properly. Daria was always professional and kept it fun.
Great bootcamp class provided by Jerome! He was always enthusiastic, but pushed us enough to make it challenging, provided alternate moves if some were unable to do certain exercises and was always there to offer advice and correct form. If you can want a personal trainer who knows what he is doing and has a great attitude, I recommend Jerome!
Dana has done a tremendous job with my personal training. She understands my limitations and constraints, and works with me to improve them and achieve my goal's. I had been lifting and working out for a few months prior to meeting Mark. I had already lost a good amount of weight but started to hit a plateau and decided I wanted to seek a personal trainer to help me break my plateau. I searched online and was having quite a bit of trouble finding a trainer that seemed to be the right match for me. I was specifically looking for a trainer with a great deal of knowledge about lifting, nutrition, weight loss, etc. Trying to find the right trainer seemed to be quite a hassle. I was connected with Mark through thumbtack and decided to meet Mark for my initial consultation. Talking with Mark for ten minutes was all I needed to believe I had probably found the right personal trainer. We have been training together for 6 weeks now and OMG this guy is fantastic. He is sooo knowledgeable in every aspect of health and training. He is very easy going and patient and you can tell immediately that he really cares about helping his clients. He is very detailed, always on time for sessions, and really goes the extra mile to help you reach your fitness goals. I have lost and additional 20lbs since I started training with Mark and have gained a ton of muscle mass. Not only that, but I also have such a better understanding of nutrition and how to properly weight lift, control my diet etc. in a way that is most beneficial to me, my health, and my safety. Mark is simply fantastic. Such a great guy and I highly recommend him to anyone. Whether you are just starting to work out and want to lose weight, or if you are more advanced and want someone with a great deal of knowledge to help you maximize your results, Mark is absolutely the guy to help you achieve these goals. I worked with Jason as my personal trainer for about 3 years. He is a very patient, caring, flexible and dedicated professional who has taught me about weight lifting and eating properly to maximize weight loss. He has changed my mindset from doing mostly cardio to mostly weight lifting. I worked with him in person and used his online programming. Both are very effective. Jason still keeps in touch with me which keeps me motivated to keep lifting.
I highly recommend WillPower Fitness. I contacted WillPower Fitness to find a personal trainer, and found credible trainers with comprehensive personal training programs to help me to reach my goals. (exactly as it's advertised) How I see the gym environment: It's a great, welcoming community with music playing, natural light, and trainers coaching members through sets and reps. You can hear encouragement to members on that last rep, telling them they can do it. They have the variety of equipment, activity, and resources you need. The trainers are somehow attentive to the entire gym, keep everyone busy, communicate well, and have the knowledge I wish I had about the body and its needs...from weight-loss to elite athlete programs. How it started for me: I came to my first session with defined fitness goals and a lot of my printouts from previous 'training programs.' That first day we jumped right into a training session, and I assumed it was to evaluate my fitness level. A few days later, I found out that my trainer actually read those grids from past trainers -- I was impressed he cared. He explained the target muscle groups of my previous program versus how the body works and the strength I need to build. When I competed in the past I never felt fit in the right way, and paired with this logical justification, it made sense that my training needed an adjustment. My updated program focuses on finding maximum efficiency and developing the muscles needed to perform intervals over a long period of time. Plus, building strength in the right way to support joints and mobility, which I assume helps me avoid injury. It is definitely worth it.
Josh is a terrific personal trainer. A lot of trainers and gyms lack that key word "personal," however that isn't Josh. He is focused, professional, dedicated and U.S. Marine Corps Veteran. His commitment to you helping you reach your fitness and health goals doesn't end at the door. He is knowledgable, positive and motivating which helps you want to push yourself and give it your all. I highly recommend you meet with Josh and discuss your fitness goals and guarantee he will be upfront and honest with you on what it will take from you and him to reach those goals. Working with Karisa has been great. She is very knowledgeable in proper form and every workout has been more challenging than the last. She is very encouraging but doesn't let you slack off. I was hesitant to work with a personal trainer because I am an athlete by background, and I thought I knew enough about my body to train myself (or just participate in group fitness classes). I chose to work with Tyler at Summit Fitness for many reasons: he has a Master's in Exercise Science and one of the most respected certifications in strength and conditioning. Having been in the military and being over 50, I have had many trainers in my lifetime; however, Tom is honestly the best trainer I have ever had! He has the ability to make me push myself beyond where I think I can go and I willingly do it. He can also tell me exactly where I need to correct a move to be stronger and faster. He also trained my 15 y/o daughter this summer to prepare her for volleyball...working on speed, agility, and explosiveness...SUCCESS! Thank you, Coach!

This guy is amazing! I had been entertaining the thought of hiring a personal trainer for sometime, however I was extremely skeptical. I met with BJ and discussed what my options were and what I wanted to accomplish. I had a really good feeling about hiring him as my personal trainer. After our first workout, I knew I made the right choice! It is obvious he has a passion for what he does and sincerely cares about your safety and progress. With his guidance I will be able to achieve new goals I have set for myself and change my life for the better. This guy makes you feel like family. With BJ's help, I now work out regularly, eat healthy and feel like a million dollars after each session.
