I hired Denean’s Party by Design to help me with the decor for my mother’s 60th birthday on Thanksgiving 2017. It was my first time working with an event planner for a personal event and I did not know what to expect. I was nervous about the cost as well as the quality/execution for the event. I wanted something beautiful but on a budget and they did not disappoint! EVERYTHING about my experience with them was absolutely fabulous. They helped me create the look I wanted without breaking the bank, provided very detailed instructions on how to flawlessly execute and setup the event (since it was being hosted on a holiday), very responsive, punctual and uber profressional. Everyone in attendance was in love with the decor. Hands down one of my best experiences ever working with an event planning company. I will continue to use them for any event I plan (small to big).

I was trying to plans a birthday dinner for my wife and wanted to be conscious and responsible and allow for social distancing due to COVID. I decided to host the dinner in my garage as I thought that would allow for the most space. I cleaned out the garage to the best of my ability but had no idea on how to approach decorating. I reached out to Garnished-Events on short notice and they were very kind and responsive. They walked me through several options for seating, decor and color combinations, but at the end of the day the concept was theirs. The came the morning of the event and decorated and set up everything. My wife was blown away as well was I. It turned out awesome and we had a beautiful night with friends. I cannot say enough about what they were able to accomplish within the parameters that I provided and i am truly appreciative of what they did. Thank you Sheena and Alondra

Kadzo was a true professional. I asked her to decorate for my dads 100th birthday. I met her only about two weeks before. She did a great job in light of the short time line. I have a couple questions about stuff I didn’t see but she did a great job in such a short timeline. And she decorated two events for me in one weekend. She was professional. Everything was ✅ done in a timely way had her pricing was pretty reasonable. She worked well with all the venue contacts. I will hire her again. Definitely give her call.

I worked with Danielle recently on the decorations for my cousin's baby shower and it was such a pleasure! The baby shower was hosted in D.C. and I live in Atlanta so I was slightly concerned about not being able to coordinate all the planning details in person, but Danielle made the process simple and straightforward. She worked with me from the beginning to determine the budget and stay within it based on our needs. She was also punctual and communicated with me regularly (especially as we got closer to the date of the event). When I finally met Danielle in person, it felt like a I was meeting a longtime friend. She was personable and wasn't easily overwhelmed by a couple of weather hiccups we experienced the day before the baby shower. I had several in depth conversations with Danielle where I found her very professional and accommodating. However, when she sent me the final quote for my event, it was much higher than the estimate she had given me before. When I inquired, she said that those were setting up costs. However, setting up costs were already included in her first estimate. She said she would be happy to accommodate the decor in the budget we had discussed by making some minor changes. I was in agreement and asked her to propose said changes. This was my last conversation with her. She completely ghosted me after and even upon following up several times, she didn’t respond. I sent her an email asking if she’s not interested in going forward, to please clearly let me know. But she did not extend that courtesy to me. This is no way to conduct business and she wasted both her time and mine.

Britt and her team should be called “The Rescue Crew!” I sent up a Hail Mary request on Thumbtack at 10:30pm Saturday night for a last minute emergency request for a party starting at 10:30am on Sunday…yes, the next day. Britt responded within minutes and never flinched. She said, “I can do it “ and she and her team did it. All of my balloons had deflated for my son’s party and Britt came and created a custom 8ft balloon garland with superheroes and it matched my NY city backdrop perfectly! I didn’t even know what the backdrop looked like. Britt and I didn’t even talk colors. I told her it was a superhero theme and she knew what to do. She was early and it really only took her team 20 minutes and she helped my other vendor with his set up. The team was so gracious and professional and their work is awesome. They are what you want when you hire events planners/decorators. I will call them again in a heartbeat!
