I hired Danielle July 2015 for personal training sessions. I absolutely hate working out and didn't not want to go to the gym. However, I needed to lose weight to become more healthy. In August 2011, I took a hard look at myself and didn't like what I saw. I am a 46 year old female that has been active my whole life. I was 20 pounds overweight, and finding it hard to take the weight off. My metabolism just wasn't what it used to be. I needed to make some changes in my life. I discovered tennis about 10 years ago, and have loved playing it ever since. As my tennis skills improved and I began competitive match play, I injured my knee. This sidelined me for 6 months. I continued to play a few more years, and I managed to injure my other knee. I knew I needed to build strength in my legs if I wanted to continue playing tennis. I hired a personal trainer, and worked with her for a year. Her goals for me were different than mine. I was not interested in training for 5k's and mini triathlons. I spoke with his references, and decided to begin training again. It was the best decision I made. Keith and I sat down and worked through my goals and limitations. Jared is an outstanding fitness coach. Every minute he spends with you, he shows dedication and commitment to your success. I have had other personal trainers before, but none has shown as much dedication, talent, or resources. In particular, I'm very impressed with the following: Jared works from a private studio, and thus there are no distractions. When he is training you, no one else is there with whom to compete or be bothered. Jared is a friendly person and makes time to ask how my weekend was, etc., but he does not let social niceties interfere with the time he spends with me working out. The training sessions offer a varied array of exercises, and each time we work out I know I will experience something new. He is a very good motivator--he is patient, but does not allow me to cheat or go easy. The pricing is very fair. Consistent with what I mention above, Jared is a highly committed instructor and provided tremendous value. I shopped around and I can say with comfort that no other trainer gave me the sense of value for money and time expended that Jared does.
I've had several trainers, and Lynne is by far the best. She listens to your preferences and goals and then tailors work-outs to meet them. As your body changes, she adapts the work-outs to continue to challenge and get results. They are never boring or routine, and every exercise is done for a purpose because she has thought about just how to target a specific muscle or body part.
