Louisiana Culinary Institute is a gem for the city of Baton Rouge; training chefs to excel in the culinary field. The new catering department is an extension of the training for the star chefs in the making. I have sampled almost all of their offerings and everything is delicious. I have ordered from the catering department twice in the past month; the food was outstanding, complimented by all of my guests. The service was exemplary and the turnaround was exceptional as I had placed the orders right before I actually needed them. I should also mention that price-wise, it is a good value. I will definitely use the LCI catering department again in the future. Great job!
Chef Steph is very knowledgeable in her craft! She has not only given me healthy recipe ideas, but shown me basic cooking techniques down to how to properly cut meats and numerous types of vegetables. She has helped me meal prep on a few occasions now and I'm excited to continue working with her in the future.
Chef Gabrielle was fabulous just like her name says!! She was very friendly and the food was outstanding. She arrived on time and served exactly at the time that I requested. Chef Gabrielle had a great menu and we all throughly enjoyed the dinner. I would definitely hire her again.
Chef Payne was an absolute joy to work with. She took care of EVERYTHING! Even when we offered a hand she insisted on finishing the job from beginning to end. She provided everything. One huge plus is she can cook all gluten free - even pastries which were SOOOO delicious. I ordered brunch for my graduation party and she made the perfect amount of food. Food was yummy and the shrimp and grits (that i ordered/added fairly late but she didn’t even blink) were ah-maz-ing. I will 100% use Chef Payne at the next opportunity. She even sent me sweet congratulation note for my graduation. You won’t regret using this chef!
