Chef Marty and his team provided appetizers, main meal, desserts, bar service, linens and dinnerware for our recent Holiday Party_12/6/13. Chef Marty was a delight to work with, he was responsive to our menu requests & updates; the request for a vegan meal was provided without a hitch. Pricing for our Holiday Party was fabulous, as a volunteer organization, we are always looking for the best for our dollars. The best review to offer was the request for business cards from the attendees! The serving staff were friendly and accommodating to last minute requests. I will keep Malone Catering's contact information near by!

Our entire experience with Five Continents was wonderful, from the immediate response to our Thumbtack request for a caterer all the way to their leaving our wedding celebration event site spotless at the end of the party. Chef Elona provided a fabulous menu that fit our requirement for all plant-based food. When we met with her to work out party details, she had a long list of food ideas and welcome suggestions for pacing the party and table arrangements. Elona assured me that I would have nothing to do but enjoy the party, and she was right. The food was abundant and absolutely delicious, all served at the appropriate temperature and time. She and two delightful yet unobtrusive servers moved us seamlessly through a half dozen of the most fabulous hot and cold appetizers, a buffet main course with a vegan meatloaf that was like a rich roast beef, and then on to champagne toasts and coffee and desserts and serving the wedding cake. Perfect service, simply fabulous food beautifully presented, happy guests and a thrilled hostess. Five Continents delivers as promised, taking care of all party details - with the added bonus of being professional yet pleasant and easy to work with. We are so happy to have found them on Thumbtack!

Brian has come into my classroom three times to make Mac and Cheese for my students. The first time he came in I was concerned about how could he keep the students focused and interested in his cooking. He was excellent. He attended class wearing his chef jacket and brought his knives. Once Brian had started to prepare the mac and cheese, he took time to explain to the students the 5 main sauces. He continually fielded questions from the students. The questions ranged from "What is the strangest food you have ever prepared?" to "How much do you make?" Brian was able to keep their interest especially when he showed them how he chopped food. He showed the students the various knives that he uses when preparing food. Brian finished his presentation by serving the students a generous helping of Mac and Cheese. On his last visit, Brian was challenged to prepare his dish without using gluten. Brian was able to do this and still provide a delicious meal. Brian is a very knowledgeable chef. He has an easy going personality that makes your experience enjoyable. The pride he shows in his craft is inspiring.
We are writing a recommendation for Gillian Nelson, who has been an excellent employee of ours for the past 8 years at our home on Nantucket. Gillian has served our Nantucket household skillfully, cheerfully and with a high degree of professionalism. There is simply nothing she can’t do, being an excellent house manager, chef, caretaker and caregiver who has a wonderful, , cheerful spirit and a continuous smile on her face. Gillian managed and ran a very busy summer household on Nantucket and wore many hats for the past eight years. She is an excellent chef and cook, and ran the kitchen for our busy summer household, creating fresh, healthy organic meals for 2 to 20 with seemingly little effort. Gillian is a joy in the kitchen and our many guests loved her spirit, warmth and delicious meals. Gillian managed and maintained a demanding household for two professionals who commuted and traveled away regularly, and managed and took care of a busy household of constant summer guests which required excellent organizational skills. Gillian is not afraid to work hard and dive in herself, being very hands on, tackling cleaning, housekeeping, carpentry, painting, oversight of construction and renovation projects, driving and maintaining cars and supervising the many vendors who serve the house, including lawn care, garden and pool personnel and tradesmen such as carpenters, plumbers, roofers, repairmen, etc. The Nantucket property is large and demanding. Gillian took care of every aspect of its maintenance skillfully and energetically. She also cared for 3 dogs at once, no small feat. There is nothing Gillian cannot do. We wholeheartedly recommend Gillian in any professional role be it as an estate manager, private chef, caretaker, or care-giving situation. She is unfailing honest and trustworthy, has a huge heart; she would be an asset to any private household. Matt is the consummate professional, with a great culinary sense as to what would work best with a large and diverse group. We were dealing with a lot of different types of foodie personalities and Matt helped us come up with a tasting menu that made sense for everyone. Even more important, once the dishes were decided upon, his execution was flawless. I would say that some of his suggestions were the stand outs of the evening, so i will just let him come up with the menu next time. Thanks for making our evening memorable and tasty
I just called on the services of Kevin and Sarah, two days before our anniversary dinner at our home. Kevin was very quick to respond, with menu options and a very reasonable price. Two days later, Kevin and Sarah showed up at our home and made the most amazing meal. Each course was absolutely delicious, from appetizer to dessert. The food far surpassed all of my expectations. My husband has been raving about the meal all day now. Then our dessert, mocha creme brulee, was exquisite! They then completely cleaned the entire kitchen and they were ready to leave by the time we finished dinner. Very impressed!! I would, without hesitation, recommend All Cape Personal Chef. Adam prepared an amazing, custom menu for us! He was diligent about researching ingredients to accommodate my wife's food allergies and delivered a fantastic dinner. He was personable, professional and on time a true Chef! Food was amazing! Timing of each plate was perfect, while we sat back and enjoyed great conversation during our courses. Food presentations were fit for TV and everything was made fresh. I'd find it hard to ask for more. Highly Recommend!
