Eric installed three vanities and plumbing for the sinks. Very professional and fast. A+
We recently bought a condo and had to replace the steam boiler because it was old, inefficient and did not heat all the radiators in the house. Out of the three plumbers who contacted us after leaving our details on Thumbtack, we chose Real Deal plumbing for the following reasons. 1) Real is ALWAYS on time. He will ring your doorbell at 6:59 for a 7:00 appointment. He will also call to let you know that he is 5 minutes away. 2) Real is very professional. He was knowledgeable about all aspects of the job and had great suggestions. He was not pushy and was upfront about everything he was going to do. 3) Real was the only one who ALWAYS pulled permits for the job by default. Neither of the other plumbers wanted the pull permits, but Real pulled gas and plumbing permits and had an inspector from the city checkout the installation two days later. 4) Real sent me a detailed estimate that included his license #, insurance information, cost of the boiler and cost of everything else (labor, materials, permits, new vents for all radiators, travel etc). 5) After Real was done there was no evidence he was ever in our basement except for the new steam boiler. He left the basement cleaner than he found it. 6) Real's quote was the lowest. Real is a talented plumber, a true professional and an overall nice guy. I've never had such a pleasant experience dealing with any contractor/plumber before. I intend to use him to service my new boiler every year and for all other plumbing needs. I highly recommend Real for all your plumbing needs.
4.5 stars. Jason replaced the sump pump in my basement. Communication and scheduling was easy. Jason came to my house at the time we agreed to and quickly completed the job. There was no cleanup needed afterwards and the quality of the work seems to be good (have to wait for the heavy rain to be sure if everything works as it should). I bought the pump so the charge came to hourly (2hr minimum) and materials. I'm taking 1/2 star off due to material (pipes/fittings) charge which I thought was a bit high, but I'm not a plumber so could be wrong. It may be reasonable. Overall very good service and I can fully recommend Jason for residential plumbing services.

I am a local handyman offering carpentry, light plumbing, electrical work, installations, tiling, sheetrock install, repair, moulding, grass cutting, and shoveling. If you need any small job done, just call and ask. I'll do it.
Dear future customer, Do you need something fixed, built or installed? Since 2001, I have run a busy and successful handyman and carpentry business that has served hundreds of people. Clients consistently report on the evaluation form I give them that they would recommend me to friends, and that I do excellent work. I am easy to deal with and communicate clearly and honestly. Call or e-mail me if you have tasks you want done around your home or business. I have two options available for you. For option A, you may want to hire me to do them or for B, you want to hire me to do the work with you, and you learn how to do it. Regarding option A, I repair the imperfect, install the difficult and assemble the boxed and mysterious! I provide most carpentry services such as building new walls, installing shelves, fixing and installing doors, putting in decks, etc. I also do basic plumbing, electrical, painting, tiling and concrete work. I am skilled and careful. I also have many, many references. I assemble Ikea furniture and other boxed things. I install, repair or replace ceiling lights, lamps, outlets, faucets, TV mounts, medicine cabinets, beds, furniture, vanities, toilets, fans, garbage disposals, thermostats, vents, etc. I do large and small painting jobs, install and uninstall air conditioners, install closets from Ikea, California, Easy Closets, etc., fix fences, clean gutters, and power wash decks and such. I often stain or paint the deck soon after power washing. I often work solo, and I would be happy to do small jobs. If your job calls for a helper or assistant or two, I will then enlist the services of one of my associates, all of whom are people of skill and integrity. In one-man mode, I often do "little things" like installing shelves, towel racks, blinds, curtains, closet hardware, pet doors, etc. I often repair or install storm doors. I am especially experienced with door repairs and installations and small carpentry projects. For example, I built a new shed door and a wooden radiator cover for an Arlington couple. I built a long trapezoidal shelf for a Cambridge resident who puts her bed at a diagonal against the corner of her bedroom, and I built a closet in the same room as well. Just this week, I installed a new storm door for a couple of teachers. I installed three custom-made set of wood shelves in their kitchen as well. A while ago, I worked in a $1.1 million house in Lexington and built a wall to divide a large room into two rooms - a hot tub room and a conservatory. The wall was easy to build, nothing special there, but since the room had a slanted ceiling, putting in five partitions from the wall up to the ceiling and then installing trapezoid-shaped glass into each partition took a little more thought. It was a fun job. It came out very good, and the customers were quite pleased. In your home, what needs to be built, fixed or installed? Regarding option B, you may lack tools and experience, or you may think you are not handy. Perhaps you just need some patient guidance. Chances are, with my help, you can get that door to fit just right, install some shelving, install a banister, install a faucet to replace the one you don't like or fix the one that is leaking, or assemble anything that comes in a box, etc. If we try option B and you get tired of it or are truly not handy, I can always just finish the job by myself, of course! You can reach me by phone or by e-mail. When you write or call, please let me know where you are located and what work you want done. If you call me and get my voice mail, please include your phone number, leave it twice, and indicate how late and how early I may call you back.

Jason Fulton is a master plumber who can do it all and is professional as well as friendly. Not to mention he is very responsive in emergency situations no matter what the time of day.
Sheldon was incredible. One of the most detail oriented and hard working people I have ever hired. I would give him more than 5 stars if I could. He even thought of solutions for a shower issue that I hadn't even told him about. He is an excellent craftsman and I really enjoyed getting to know him over the 5 days he worked at my place.
My experience with CCL plumbing was excellent. They came quickly, provided me with excellent advice and the work was solid and left no trace of a mess behind. Two months later I'm very pleased with my on demand hot water heater.
Tyrone was exceedingly friendly, knowledgable, and spent significantly more time than expected working on the problem. When the problem turned out to be with a faucet fixture, he helped me contact the manufacturer of the faucet and the manufacturer is sending a free faucet to replace the old one, which Tyrone promised to come and install. I highly recommend him.

Our heat went out and to be honest we weren't sure what to do exactly. We had used thumbtack before to have some carpentry work done and was very pleased with that contractor. We searched on thumbtack for heating expert and we contacted Jim. He came to our home and was able to repair our boiler at a decent price. I would recommend his service for anyone having a heating problem. Thank you very much, Celia.
