Well I reported utility sink pipe had a drip and slow drainage. Pipe was repaired but the drain is slow and required snaking for an additional $351.00. I guess I will be renting a snake from Home Depot soon. Not paying more.

Sorry. But I just paid 35 bucks for someone to come out (between 6-8pm but arrived at 8:15pm) and tell me that cleaning a basic bathroom sink drain and swapping out a pipe was almost $700 dollars. Just seems nuts when quotes are more than half or a third of that.

After dealing with temporary fixes from other companies, it was refreshing to finally work with someone who took the time to properly diagnose the issue instead of rushing through the job. They checked everything thoroughly—from the upstairs lines to the kitchen sink, utility sink, basement line, and main line. They were honest about what was going on, showed me the problems in real time, and explained the condition of my cast iron pipes and grease buildup clearly. The shower repair was done very professionally. They had to dig to access the pipes, but after the work was completed, the area looked as if they had never even opened the floor. The new pipes were installed, the water flow is strong, and everything is draining smoothly now. I also appreciated the honesty regarding another underground pipe issue on my property. Van was the BEST plumber that I have ever used. He is incredibly professional and knowledgeable about his trade. After thorough evaluation, Van was able to clear both my bathtub and sink drains with deliberate skill. My home is old and he took care not to damage the delicate pipes. Horrible..DO NOT HIRE THIS PERSON!! Kelvin came out saw the project and gave me a quote to replace the drain pipe for my kitchen, replace a faucet and a sup pump. We agreed to do this on Saturday August 27th. Kelvin called me on Friday August 26th and said he needed to reschedule. I agreed and we scheduled for September 3rd at 9:00 am. He got here at 11:30 locked his keys in his car took 4 hrs before he decided to call a locksmith. Looked at the project and said he’d be back the next day. (Very inconsiderate of my time). He came on Sunday September 4th and decided he was just going to repair the pipe instead of what we agreed on. I said to him that we agreed to change the pipe. He said there was no need to replace it. So the price should be lower but he insisted that he didn’t quote me to replace the pipe. But that’s what I asked for. ( And I do have witnesses) When he was done he came with the receipts that are shown in the pictures. I said he will have to come tomorrow because I needed someone to check the receipts to make sure I got what I paid for. I also requested a contract before he came to do the work. Which you see was handwritten in the photo after he did the incomplete work. I was charged $1,780.00 and he tried to get $1,970.00 for this and to put a new switch on my old sup pump.

Absolutely devastating. I reached out to Everlast for a second opinion as my main level Tub was not draining and the toilet had backed up and flooded the downstairs. I was told by the first company that my p-trap needed to be replaced on the tub. I felt that that did not do a full inspection to come to that conclusion never checked the toilet or anything else. Though the flooding came from the toilet it still flushed and showed no signs of a clog; it would only gargle when the basement shower was ran. When Al arrived he inspected the basement bathroom, wash room, and main floor bathroom before concluding to pull to main floor toilet and snake the main line. The tub was the only area that had the clog and he assured me that once he snaked the toilet everything would clear. He arrived to my home @ 1pm and snaked the main line continuously from 2pm-8pm. In the end I ended up with a busted mainline that is now leaking into my driveway, a Tub that is still clogged, and $888 less. He came and made my situation 10x worse than before. I cannot run any water or use the facilities in the house at all. And before he left he had the audacity to quote me $7,000 to repair the busted pipe he damaged. He never ran a camera and I feel he took advantage me and took my money knowing a repair was never made but more harm was caused.
