The chefs arrived earlier to prep and the servers came in time for dinner. The whole team took care of absolutely everything: serving the dishes, refilling drinks, even cleaning up and leaving my kitchen spotless before they left. The food: out of this world! All of my guests were so impressed. The appetizers (we had 5 different dishes) were delicious, the salad was great, the filet mignon and lamb was cooked to perfection and the lobster was amazing. Don’t hesitate to hire this team. You will not regret it. We are now planning on our next occasion to have them out again!"See more

Not only was the set up and appearance of the cups wonderful, but most importantly everything tasted great! The fruit and veggies were fresh and the choice of meats and cheeses were perfection. Each cup was a little different for folks that don’t like olives/pickles and she was even able to accommodate our gluten free and nut free attendees! The nut free cups were prepared first and wrapped in silicone bags to prevent cross contamination. Can’t find any reason not to recommend this company for your next gathering!"See more

An Affair to Remember
We reached out to Carmen to cater our welcome dinner the night before our wedding, for about 100 people, and from the very first conversation, Carmen made the whole planning process easy. She was responsive and engaged, and asked a lot of questions to clarify what we were interested in and what would work for us. She was especially willing to help us choose food options that were different from our wedding reception food (catered by another company). Carmen worked to make sure we had aspects of our colors and our wedding "mood" (rustic, low-key, but still with some sophistication) mixed into the decor at the dinner, which she provided suggestions based on the arrangement of the venue and what we wanted the feel of our evening to be. We had a lot of restricted eaters (vegetarians, gluten-free, soy-free, diary-free, paleo, etc) and she was able to create a buffet style meal that met all our guests needs. The guests (and us) absolutely loved the food - it was delicious, fresh, consistent, and flavorful. Often times when cooking in bulk, it's easy to get dried out food items- particularly with chicken and salmon, two items we had. This was absolutely not the case here - the chicken and fish were moist and yummy. The mac and cheese was the talk of the night, with many people wanting a whole pan for themselves. Carmen also had a dessert bar, which was tasty and had a great selection. We really appreciated everything Carmen and her team put together that evening, and all of our guests had a fantastic time, which made us happy! Thank you Carmen and team for such a wonderful kick-off to our wedding weekend!

An Affair to Remember
WOW that is what I would say about An Affair to Remember! We have never personally hired a caterer prior to our wedding day but have been a part of other family and friends that have and have seen good, bad and indifferent. We took a lot of time reviewing and deciding who to hire. Once we spoke with Carmen we knew we were going to hire her. From the moment they arrived, Carmen and her staff took the reins and wanted nothing but for my bride and I to focus on our day. I can only describe a feeling of calmness that came over us as they began there preparations. Even when our cake was delivered and instead of a round cake we received a regular rectangle shaped one they did not flinch they made it work. They were able to decorate and display the cake beautifully on such short notice. They also kept us on track with timing of all food courses from appetizers to desserts. This is one of the parts of wedding we did not plan for we did not really think of it. So we are especially thankful for that. They left their work area spotless, in fact I'm sure it was cleaner then when they arrived. They also packaged all the food up and stored it in our fridge for us. If you want to hire a company that will go above and beyond for any occasion look no further, An Affair to Remember makes your occasion just that! Our family and friends are still talking about how fantastic the food was and the professionalism of their staff. We can not thank you enough An Affair to Remember! You made our day flawless!!!

We recently used Flavor Chasers to cater to my spouse’s birthday party in our home. First, it was a pleasure to plan this event with Alex. It was within two weeks of the event, and Alex was confident she could make it unique within our budget. She took the time to meet with both of us and take input about a menu theme that was significant to our heritage but made it something for everyone. She was also very mindful of any allergies or dietary restrictions of the guests attending. Alex noted the space and equipment available in our kitchen/living area to accommodate preparation, serving, buffet, and bar area. During our ideas meeting, Alex made several suggestions that fit our requirements and did so on the fly, like a chef having to make decisions in the kitchen! Alex arrived early and began her work on the day of the event. She is very professional, engaging, and fun. She maintained her professional demeanor but was willing to engage, talk to our guests, and explain what she was creating. The theme was French comfort to honor my spouse’s paternal heritage. The menu was a charcuterie, baked brie en croute, and a variety of puff pastry hors d’ouvres, coq au vin, roasted slamon, haricot verts, potato puree, and a dessert of Death by Chocolate individual cakes. Everything was fresh, sumptuous, and prepared onsite from scratch. Alex ensured guests were well fed. Everyone was very complimentary of the food and Alex. This event was a most excellent experience. The food was beyond expectation, but almost more than that, Alex is delightful, professional, and someone we will most definitely trust again to make occasions in our home delicious, affordable, and fun! We highly recommend Flavor Chasers and Alex!
