We engaged Chef Tyler and his team for our Daughter’s wedding dinner at our home on Lake Norman. We have a normal sized kitchen and I was concerned that a Personal Chef would be able to create an elegant meal for 50 guests but I was assured by conversations with other Chef Tyler clients that he could do magic in any kitchen. And, indeed he and his team did just that. The hors d’oeuvres were fantastic and the main meal simply delicious. His grilled shrimp, bacon wrapped stuffed prunes, jalapeno sausage bites and fava bean bruschetta were tied as the favorite of nine hors d’oeuvres and the swordfish kabobs won out over the lamb kabobs as the favorite main course dish. But what stood out was the elegant presentation. Each dish was garnished with edible flowers and fruit and complimented the table setting, flowers, and decorations that we had labored over for weeks in advance. All-in-all it was a superb performance and I highly recommend Chef Tyler and his team for any Wedding event or other event where fabulous food is a priority.
Our guests all agreed that the food didn't even rate on a "wedding food" scale, but rather in the top for best meal anywhere! And, to top off the fabulous food and service, I am compelled to mention Chef Tyler's integrity...in my neurotic madness of my only daughter getting married, I inadvertently over paid/tipped by quite a large sum. He emailed me first thing the following morning to point out the potential error and the possibility that I forgot about giving him a deposit, with an offer to return the deposit amount. Integrity is hard to find these days, but you will find it in Chef Tyler, along with amazing culinary talent! My advice - stop considering his services and hire him. You won't find one negative thing to say after your event, only gushing compliments!
