We had him build steps to our back door. The biggest was him replacing all the siding on our outdoor shed and replaced the door. We are very pleased with all of his work. It took Fred over 8 hours and two separate trips to install a storm door to our front door. After 8 hours the door is completely crooked with large gaps between the door and the frame/weather stripping, the door handle is upside down, and I have a bill from an electrician that needed to make an emergency visit because he wired our ring camera back incorrectly so it shorted the doorbell transformer and could have caused a fire. I’m giving 2 stars because he did not charge us for the entire 8 hours and was nice. But my experience with him installing the door as a handyman was one-star. The storm door he installed is technically on the frame, but has a multitude of issues and I would have rather him said he did not know how to install it then move forward and do a poor job or a job he was unsure of. He said the directions from the manufacturer were confusing and wrong, but I personally would expect a handyman to know how to adjust to this and not leave us with such a poor end result. Or, again, tell us he is not comfortable installing this brand of door instead of continuing to move forward. I am now out hundreds from the cost of him installing, the electrician bill, and I am unable to return the door to Home Depot. Nice guy and was apologetic on how long the project took, but between that and the issues with the final product we are not left very pleased with the job.

He was back 2 days later and was able to install the door on the original frame which made the work a lot easier and his price couldn't be beat. Thanks for the great job Dean!
