Like most people I joined a gym was dedicated for a few months then life happened and I stopped going. Fast forward a few months and my less active lifestyle was showing. I made the decision to look for a personal trainer and invest in myself. I was really looking for someone who would hold me accountable for my workout and push me even when I started complaining. Courtney is that trainer. Through a wide variety of workouts he will ensures I never get bored and that I anticipate and dread what he has in store for me that day. He also has a people personality that goes a long way in making you feel comfortable. I have been going a little over a month and I can see and feel the results. Small victories that I can do things that a month ago were not possible. Give Borock Training and Courtney a shot, you will be sore but I promise you it's worth it.

Simply put, Johanna is a great trainer. She is very knowledgeable as a trainer and is enthusiastic about helping others. Since I started with Johanna, I can honestly say that she has been nothing but the absolute best. Johanna got rid of all of the fears I had with beginning a new training regime, and till this day she continues to be the perfect example of what a personal trainer should be. Aside from being an awesome zumba instructor, she's an amazing trainer. She's been my personal trainer since Sept and she's already helped me accomplish some of my goals. I've worked with Johanna her as a trainer for over 6 mos. As a personal trainer Johanna is Very diverse and able to adapt to all your needs (nutrition, motivation, excercise regimen). I've been working out with Daniel for nearly four years and his classes have completely changed how I approach fitness and my personal training. Daniel incorporates many different styles and approaches to training including boxing, sleds, sandbags, kettlebells, bands, and body-weight exercises. Each class works your conditioning, as well as your strength and balance. His sessions continue to evolve and adapt with his clients and the industry to ensure that each class is different and meets the needs of members, while still continuing to challenge and push everyone to the next level. I would highly recommend EDGE Performance Training to anyone seriously interested in fitness and improving their workouts.

I have been visiting Edge for personal training/ group classes for about the last 6 months. I highly recommend the gym for those looking to train with individualized support and attention. The gym has clients that have been training with the owner, Daniel, over the years, giving it a more personal feel. Conveniently located right outside of Uptown, Edge Fitness has an open floor plan (think former warehouse space), with all the equipment neatly laid out (weights, cardio, boxing etc). Classes and personal training sessions push you, regardless of your fitness level. Tip: Purchasing training classes also gives you access to gym facilities outside of your training sessions.

I wanted to step it up and get in the very best shape I could and look like I could compete in a show, but without actually competing. That's when I started elite training with Ishmael. He is the best trainer I've ever worked with . He pushed me and made me realize that I can become strong and look as great as I wanted to. His workouts are tough.. But after you are done, you feel so awesome , and the results are amazing !! I'm toned, muscular, I have abs and in the best shape I have ever been in my life ! Ishmael started training with me after I had become very out of shape and overweight. I had no motivation to work out until I started training with him. His style of training was extremely effective in motivating me to work hard at the gym. Since training with him I have found a new passion in working out. Ishmael also developed a diet plan for me that actually works. It's strict a diet plan but it's easy to follow and has resulted in rapid weight loss. I've been working with Candice since January. This is my first experience with a personal trainer and it's been excellent. When we started I had back issues and she thoroughly research my problem and to determine the best program to strengthen my back and to be sure we didn't do anything to harm it. I also wanted to improve my golf game and she researched and incorporated exercises into our program for that as well. My back feels so much better and I played two rounds of pretty good golf this weekend! She is extremely conscience, reliable and flexible and she really does her homework. She documents every session to determine progress and she is always positive, encouraging and complimentary on a job well done. She actually makes our sessions fun! I would not hesitate to recommend Candice and actually have already done so with friends.

I am training with Erik Pedrow and believe he is one of the most committed and gifted trainers around. Fitness is a passion for Erik; and it's infectious. He is college educated, smart, and keeps up with the latest in physiology and nutritional research. Erik has a keen talent for transforming his knowledge of hard science into an effective, challenging, and fun program that is geared just for you. Erik took note my goals, likes, dislikes, and current physical ability to create a customized strength building and workout program. I believe that without Erik's 1-on-1 training I would not have progressed as quickly and safely as with a one-size-fits-all program found at other gyms. DUSTIN at Lig-On fitness is by far the most knowledgeable, most skilled trainer I've had. I'm a working professional, single mother in my mid 40s who struggled with stress and minor health and weight issues for a few years. DUSTIN came highly recommended after I decided to take my life back and to get back into shape. He truly listened to my needs and tailored an exercise plan to help me achieve my goals. In the last 10+ years, Sydney is the only coach/trainer that I have found with dynamic range, sensitivity, genuine respect, and awareness to cater her training, whether you're a competitive athlete or just trying to get back in shape. She deeply cares about helping people get better/healthier, but she doesn't force it. She has helped me figure out what I want, rather than what she wants, which is rare in this industry where it's easy to cop-out and say, "take a few vitamins, do horrible workouts, juice cleanse, and you'll be fine." The list is endless, but I can't say enough about what a great trainer she is, and an even better person.

My experience with Luis has been nothing short of incredible. The man is not a swindler looking for a quick buck from those earnestly seeking guidance but a trainer who becomes a real friend. Luis is not your typical trainer who has a "one workout model fits all" type of attitude but truly designs and adapts his advice and knowledge to fit the individual. Encouraging, extremely knowledgeable, always willing to help, and Always positive even when he's offering stern advice makes Luis one very special and unique trainer.
