I've been working with Dewayne for 5 consecutive years. When I first began training with Dewayne I was at my highest weight, 250 pounds. Previous to working with Dewayne, I trained with 3 different personal trainers. I did not obtain the results that I desired working with those trainers. However, as of today, I am delighted to say that because of Dewayne effective training skills my weight is down to 152 pounds. I am no longer taking Insulin for my diabetes. In 2012, for the first time my cholesterol was below 200. I am very pleased with my results and I HIGHLY recommend Dewayne Barrett

Dwayne is an excellent trainer. He's very professional and makes you feel comfortable working with him. His workouts can be intense but if you want results then that's what you need.The training sessions vary so you're not working the same body part all the time and you're not bored. Joey Rehavi the owner of http://nycbootcamp.net Is an incredible personal trainer. When I first went to him he designed a work out program that fit my needs and my physical capabilities at that time. We worked together weekly and my strengthen improved immediately. He also advised me on diet and corrected the way I lifted weights. Words fall short to describe my journey with Greg, The Personal Fitness Coach, he takes time to understand ones own challenges and helps to get changes in day to day routine without feeling forced, he also has an immense understanding about how much can ones body take and slowly builds the strength with introduction of various excrsise to build up strength, I right now in my 3rd week have already lost about 5 ibs of weight without going through boring and strenuous workouts and starving crash diets, it's fun to be with Greg, every morning I get up and feel like exercising, and that's the biggest change Greg brought in, the desire, and then with the muscle strenghth slowly built up the desire has converted into action, I highly recommend Greg for any one, any age as the personal trainer.😇😇

I've been working out with Daryl for almost two months now. The experience has been excellent. Daryl is knowledgeable, experienced, dedicated and thorough. He takes pride in his work and is a pleasure to work with on a personal level. His staff is responsive, polite and helpful. I see a couple of anomalous negative reviews here but frankly they do not reflect my experience. With personal training at your home, one has to be a little flexible with things like weather disruptions etc. The staff have always been very responsive in adjusting fees and credits to account for it. So I would have no hesitation recommending Daryl and DMG based on my experience to date.

My father is retired and living in an "over-55" community in Monroe NJ. The last few years he has been suffering from Parkinson's Disease (PD) and has difficulty walking, let alone exercising. It is well established that daily exercise can slow the progression of PD, and a DAILY routine of walking 2 miles mixed with other exercise (45min x 2times/day) is recommended. I have been trying to get my father to take a walk and work out at the local gym for a year now with only minimal success. Although I am an MD, as is usually the case, parents can ignore medical advice from their kids. So, I thought of hiring a personal-trainer to encourage my father to work out daily. I found Rob Lancsak via Thumbtack and it was a true God-send! Not only is Rob an experienced personal trainer in the Monroe NJ area, but he has years of experience working with persons suffering from neurologic, mental and age-related disorders. Beyond that, he is a nice guy with the patients to work with older, less motivated persons. He has been working with my father now for little over a week, but he has been able to motivate him to restart his routine and it is going very well so far. I would highly recommend him for other seniors and persons with particular disabilities.

I highly recommend Cedric for anyone that wants to get more for less! I've worked with a handful of personal trainers at different gyms but nothing was like having my trainer, Cedric, bring the gym right into my living room at 5:30am! His company, Get Bodied Services, was truly a blessing in my life! Because of my work schedule, it had been challenging to keep up with going to the gym and my hard-earned money was going to waste on my gym membership. After giving Cedric a try for 2-3 sessions a week, not only did it cost less than ONE session at my old gym, but I lost over 20lbs and several inches from my waist/thighs in three months!! Carlos is the secret, the real deal. At first I was hesitant about paying for a trainer. I thought I knew it all about exercise being fairly athletic. I also thought that only celebrities had personal trainers and paid dearly for them…until I met Carlos. I didn’t just get a fitness trainer I have an accessible counselor that guides me in exercise, nutrition, and everyday conditioning. When I travel he sends me exercise regimes for the hotel gym and constantly advises me on dieting and working out. As far as results: I’ve lost 52 lbs. and have great energy. Carlos is the real deal. Incredible, the only word that comes to mind. Been working with Brandon for almost 4 months now & it's the longest that I have worked out in over 30 years! I was reluctant in the beginning partly because of my age, 57 & the other part thinking I could do it on my own. Mistake on both counts. in our initial meeting Brandon explained that he tailors the work-out to the individual. he's worked with clients much older than me and in worse shape although not many in that department. I was afraid of being too sore, too tired, to embarrassed and countless other excuses. I,m glad my wife gave me the nudge I needed to get started. after interviewing several trainers on Thumbtack I decided to go with Brandon's free no obligation evaluation. He came over and we did a couple of exercises to see how pitiful I really was. but it was mostly talking. It was then that I made the decision to hire him to be my personal trainer. Excellent personal trainer. Has a very strong knowledge of human body structure (as a medic, I can see that). Knows many ways to approach each muscle group, so the routines change frequently and you don't get locked in doing the same exercise over and over. Seems that he knows very well where the person's limitations are, and will guide you to a point when you really work up to your limit, but without going overboard. Also, gives very effective "homework assignments" to practice on your own, in between sessions. After working for the last 2 months, my upper body strength has improved drastically, as evidenced by the number of reps I can do now, with a higher weight then in the beginning. I am looking forward to the future results.

Serge has been training me following the birth of my son, and my body has bounced back in HUGE part to him. I have done many workouts in NYC and worked with many trainers-- these past experiences can be good initially but frequently lead to stale workouts and a plateau of results. Serge always keeps if fun, new, fresh, and my body is always changing. I have seen great physical results, but also improvements in my overall athleticism, endurance, and strength which is essential when caring for an infant. Ive always been into lifting and exercising through my life. I'd work really hard with not a lot of guidance, which I figured I didn't need. I mean how hard can lifting, and exercising be on your own? I only pushed myself so hard, and found myself settling with current results which were not anything worth showing off. Until, I decided to take a few sessions through Next Level Boxing and Fitness with Dave. The guy is super cool and forces you past your expected physical limits. I was skeptical at first but he's opened my eyes and gave me A LOT of confidence in myself. I am super satisfied with what i am instructed to do. It never gets boring either, whether it's an interval workout, boxing workout, or just a light workout to get the blood flowing. I've never felt as good as I feel now. I've only met with Dave twice, but I love working with him. He is extremely knowledgable about pregnant and prenatal care so I feel completely safe working with him. Our first session was a test of sorts, so that he could evaluate my fitness level. He now knows my strengths and weaknesses so he can better assist me. I also like that he gives me tips for what I can do on days that I'm not working with him and he didn't pressure me into signing up for more sessions than I felt ready to do. Kevin is truly a ' best in world' trainer. I can't say enough about Kevin but please read this and hopefully you'll have a better idea of how he has changed my life on a very personal level. I have severe health issues and take lots of medicine. Gil is excellent and although willing to adapt the workout to what you want, it is always an intense workout, which I love. I didn't like the previous gym he was at but stayed only because of his personal training. I just joined the new gym that he works at and am glad he changed because he picked a gym that I really. But I joined mainly to be able to continue training with Gil. He recently introduced his partner Trini to the programme and she is also a very versatile trainer who knows her stuff and gives intense workouts. I highly recommend both of them and together they are a powerhouse team. I also appreciate that they both go beyond the exercise classes to take a personal interest in nutrition and give advise.

We can't explain how happy we are that we found Mike A. as a personal trainer. -He's affordable -His hours are flexible He's very skilled -He trains in an easy-to-understand style -He's very upbeat and professional Our son took an interest in fighting so we went the normal route of school wrestling, boxing gym, Jui Jitsu classes which were all good. But he got bored with the same old large class rhythmic training. Ok so today was my 1st class and I have to say wow. Mike was great. He was very profesional but has this down to earth feel about him. After sitting with him for about 5 minutes he knew exactly what I was looking for and focused the training on that. His skill as a trainer comes out immediately and you can see he genouly wants to help. I can see myself using Mike going forward as my personal trainer. Mike thanks for everything today and See you next week!

I would highly recommend Chris as a trainer. Around a year ago I decided to get a trainer to work on strength and improve my workouts. I've been training with him since then. He keeps the workouts interesting and challenging, pushing me to get outside of my comfort zone, within reason. Chris gives me feedback on form and technique, and does it in a constructive way. Great to have him as my trainer!

Over the course of our training sessions he addressed all of these areas by providing specific meal suggestions for a nutritious/balanced diet, incorporating cardio into all the workout routines, and focusing on exercises that targeted the total body and were easy to replicate when working out on my own. I originally started training with her at the Equinox near my apartment and even when she left I had to do her private sessions.
