I worked with Natalie when she was still on the East Coast. Sadly for me, I have not been able to find a replacement teacher with as much knowledge, patience and teaching expertise. I was a complete novice and Natalie was able to take me through the basics of voice training very quickly. While we focused on the techniques I needed to improve - I also had a lot of fun just singing. The lessons were never a grind.

Natalie is great to work with! She really meets you where you're at and brings humor and fun to learning (in my case re-learning) piano. I would definitely recommend her!

Peggy leads Commons in Harmony, one of the Harmony Project choirs in Columbus. Residents from the Commons at Buckingham and Grant participate. They have transitioned from homelessness to permanent housing. Arc of Ohio adult clients with developmental disabilities also participate. Members of the large Harmony Choir, of which I am a member, also participate. Peggy is positive, upbeat and helps us learn songs for our Harmony Project concert and other gigs in a fun and effective way. Singing, regardless of ability, makes each of us come alive and experience the sense of community through music. Everyone feels uplifted at the end of our weekly sessions. If I were to take solo vocal lessons, I would choose Peggy in a heartbeat! She is extremely talented and teaches with love and joy! I couldn't ask for a better vocal teacher! I highly recommend Peggy!

I had the pleasure of taking voice lessons from Peg for ten weeks last summer. She is very helpful, patient, dedicated, positive, encouraging, and full of energy. I learned so much about how the voice works from her. The exercises that she taught allowed me to use muscles that I never thought I had. I didn't know I could reach such high notes. Even though I only had her for 10 lessons, my singing techniques vastly improved, and I walked away with the knowledge of how to improve my voice on my own. She is an amazing teacher, an awesome artist, and her passion for music is obvious. I definitely want to take lessons from her again. Peg is simply the BEST!

I didn't know what to expect when starting to take vocal lessons, but my fears were quickly relieved after my first few sessions with Peggy. Even though my time got cut short due to my changing schedule, I feel as though I benefited greatly from the months I did spend. I have a much better understanding of how my voice works and how I can continue to improve. I highly recommend Peggy to anyone who wants to really begin to understand their voice and use it to its maximum potential.

My 10-year old daughter has been taking piano lessons with Ms. Lilia for over 2 years now. She has taken my daughter's talent from not only being able to play the instrument but encouraging her creativity. As a result of her teaching/coaching my daughter has been able to become more creative in playing and wrote a few songs. I highly recommend her to anyone.

My kids have been taken guitar and violin lessons with Lilia, and they love it. She's very professional and friendly. She teaches the kids at the appropriate level and speed. I have truly enjoyed watching them learn their instruments without worrying about their comfort and safety.

Provides piano lessons for my daughter. She is patient with her while she's making the transition from playing the clarinet to the piano while pushing her at the same time. Highly recommend!

Have had a very positive experience with this music studio. I started guitar lessons last fall with Ian Harrah. I am a complete novice - could not be further from being "a natural" - and Ian has been so patient. The owner, Brad, has also been very easy to work with when scheduling my first visit and setting up payments, and he even called just to see how lessons were going. Definitely recommended!

My son takes piano lessons from Ian Harrah. Ian is welcoming and engaging to me as a parent and always fun and exciting with my son. My son looks forward to his lesson each week! I am happy with the frequent newsletter updates from director Bradley Allen also.

Our ADHD son was 7 when he started taking lessons with Joe last fall. We chose Joe based on the quality of his reply, his affordable prices, and his experience working with children with ADHD. It is a decision we are so thankful to have made! Joe is absolutely the right instructor for our son! Joe's instruction is clearly professional caliber, plus he is personable, fun for our son to be around (he's really great with kids!) and most importantly he is highly effective. In a few short months, our son, with Joe's guidance, has discovered what I believe will be a life long passion for playing the piano! He has gone from mashing on the keys joyously, to holding his wrists up properly, finding his place on the keys, reading music and more recently, playing duets. My heart sings! I give Joe my highest, most appreciative recommendation. Joe, you've made a positive difference in our lives. Thank you for sharing your gift with us and especially our son!

Joe is an excellent piano teacher. He is a very friendly and easy going person who makes learning piano fun and enjoyable. As an adult with a very busy complicated schedule, Joe is always flexible when is comes to scheduling lessons. If you're considering taking on piano lessons, no matter what your age and skill level, I highly recommend Joe. He'll be able to form the lessons around the skills you already have to take you in the direction you want to go.

I have taken singing lessons from Mrs. Sturgis for 3 years now, and I have seriously learned more than I ever thought possible. In just three years, I went from not really knowing how to sing (and only a very basic knowledge of musical notes) to preparing to take music lessons at a college level! And I owe it all to her. She is a phenomenal teacher and I couldn't have asked for a better one. She is incredibly knowledgeable, forever patient, completely dedicated, is always willing to explain things as many times as need be, and maintains an open and pleasant atmosphere which made learning not only educational but incredibly fun and rewarding. She is truly outstanding, and I would recommend her to ANYBODY who wants to learn about music and how to perform it.

Mrs. Sturgis is a very friendly and cheerful piano instructor and helped me make an informed decision on a affordable and proper piano to practice on at home. As of April 2017, my learning session, her price is very reasonable. She will try to make sure you have every tool available to succeed; from a customized course syllabus to free online websites to practice note recognition. Whether your intent is to learn how to play a single song or to traditionally learn it all, she will teach you, with an emphasis on music theory. I would recommend Mrs. Sturgis to all future students. Very respectfully, Michael

My 8-yr old daughter has been taking lessons through Music Makers Piano studio since she was six, and it's been a great experience. Andrea is fantastic with children, very patient and understanding... even with a child as difficult to stay on task as my little girl. :) Andrea is extremely talented and is able to break the information down and teach it so that a child can grasp it. Her attitude is always positive, and she provides her students with two recitals/year to allow them to opportunity to showcase what they've learned. She is a great teacher and I look forward to many more years watching my daughter's piano skills grow in Andrea's very capable hands.

I have been Amy's student for eight (going on nine) years. During this time, she has taught me so much about the technique and artistry that go into vocal performance. I am also honored to call her not just my teacher, but my good friend. If you are looking for an opportunity to learn the techniques and skills that go into performing works of music, that can be found here. But through learning your craft here, you can discover yourself to a degree that you never thought possible. And to me, that is priceless.

I took voice lessons from Amy for about 5 years. She greatly helped me in learning all the proper ways of breathing and all that goes into being a better singer. She also gave voice and piano lessons to 2 of my nieces and they loved Amy and looked forward to their lessons with her. She's very talented and uses her God given musical gifts to help others.

We have used Piano Lessons in Your Home for about 7 years and have been pleased with them. We started with one student and now have three. Over the years we have had three teachers. Each one had their own style and methods, but all were good. It has been nice to not have to travel for lessons, especially when we have had new babies and/or young children. We have also had positive interactions with the main office when needed. They have responded to emails quickly and been willing to work with us on teacher selection. Each teacher prepares their own schedule and coordinates at least one recital or audition per year. All of our students achieved Superior or Superior Plus status at this years Piano Guild Auditions.

My 4 year old daughter and I have been taking piano lessons for the past 4 months. We have a wonderful teacher in Philip. He is so patient with my daughter and so helpful to me. It is so easy to have the lessons in our home. I don't have to worry about traffic, being late, or rounding up my daughter to get to lessons. PLIYH also has a wonderful lending library so you don't have to buy many books. I would recommend them to anyone.

My daughter Anna began taking piano lessons from Mary Jane Griffin at age six, and when she was 14 she began taking voice lessons as well. During that time, Anna not only received a wonderful education in music from a very professional and educated instructor, but she also learned how to perform, overcome setbacks and obstacles, and to graciously accept and appreciate success and praise. Anna continued with both piano and voice studies at Musically Yours until she was 18, at which time Mrs. Griffin not only helped her find a college where she could continue to develop her musical talent, but also coached her for the auditions and wrote a recommendation that helped to earn her a substantial scholarship award. Mrs. Griffin has been a positive influence, mentor, and friend, and I recommend her unequivocally.

Mary-Jane is an excellent music teacher! She has years of experience with both individual music lessons and as an elementary music/high-school choir director. She is experienced with working with children and youth at all levels of development. She knows how to adapt to each students' particular needs to help them reach their goals. Music lessons can sometimes bring out anxiety in even little ones, but Mary-Jane patiently guides her students to play the best they can in a very caring and loving manner. I would highly recommend her!

My daughter has been attending vocal lessons with Mrs. Griffin since the first of the year, and loves it! She had previously been enrolled with other vocal programs around the area, but none were a good fit. It was not until Mrs. Griffin, that my daughter began to enjoy lessons once again

I am a current guitar, piano and voice teacher looking to expand my student list. I have been teaching for over a year, and I offer competitive rates among most studios. About

I've been teaching for over 20 years for all ages, from 4-year-olds to seniors. I teach classical, popular, jazz, blues and more. I have over 10 years of my piano recital's best on YouTube -- search on "mypianostudents playlist." I have been able to advance hardworking students to playing Beethoven's Fur Elise in only 3 years.

About

I own my music studio at my home in Delaware, Ohio. I use various lesson plans to meet my piano student's needs. They learn well by creativeness with music games and activities. I'm a member of the Ohio Music Teacher's Association and the National Guild of Piano Teachers. I do two piano recitals per year. I love seeing my students progress as they have fun learning!

About

I believe that there is a hunger for music inside every one of us. As for myself, I have found my hunger to be quite eclectic. I have vigorously studied classical piano, Western harmony, jazz, rock, pop, sound synthesis and music production. I believe that a student's love for music should not be constricted to a single genre. I invite my students to explore with me the expanse of music as a whole.

About

I've been studying music for ten years and giving informal lessons for seven years. I played guitar in the Columbus Youth Jazz Orchestra and have played guitar and bass for various rock and jazz gigs. More importantly, I have a talent for communicating and explaining the language of music, as well as the language used in instructional books and videos. The most complicated musical concepts and techniques can be made simple if they are broken down into smaller parts and practiced.
