I've been taking guitar lessons with Christian for about a month now and I can honestly say I'm really pleased with the experience. It's clear that Christian has a love and talent for music and has chosen to share it with others. I've tried to teach myself guitar on and off for 10 years and never got far. Now, a month in, I'm already starting to learn my first song. Christian is organized with planned lessons based on the level you're at and teaches you the tools you need in order to play and eventually even write - including music theory. He's patient, can explain things in a way that makes it easy to understand, and there's never any rush to learn a new step before you're ready which - as a student w/ two jobs - keeps lessons and practice fun and easier to stick with since I feel like I can take my time and learn at my own pace. If you're looking to learn guitar, definitely give Christian a call.
My daughter loves going to piano lessons and she really enjoys playing in the recitals.
I had the pleasure of taking voice lessons from Peg for ten weeks last summer. She is very helpful, patient, dedicated, positive, encouraging, and full of energy. I learned so much about how the voice works from her. The exercises that she taught allowed me to use muscles that I never thought I had. I didn't know I could reach such high notes. Even though I only had her for 10 lessons, my singing techniques vastly improved, and I walked away with the knowledge of how to improve my voice on my own. She is an amazing teacher, an awesome artist, and her passion for music is obvious. I definitely want to take lessons from her again. Peg is simply the BEST!
Had a great first lesson! - reviewed a good amount music theory since I had not taken piano lessons since high school (25 yrs ago). Very much enjoyed Hannah's personality - pleasant and cheerful but focused. She kept the lesson focused so it was very productive and a great review! I also like that we have set attainable goals for the next couple of lessons!
My 11yo decided he wanted to learn how to play drums after watching a drum solo video. I called a few places during my search and got no response. Stu responded almost instantly. We went in for a trial session and my son was hooked! Drum lessons with Stu are the only "lessons" my son looks forward to. Stu has a great connection with kids and adults alike. My son is learning much faster than I ever expected.
I am an adult student who has been taking piano lessons from Paul for several years. He has never been late or missed a session. He respects that I am in this for personal enjoyment, not profession aspirations. He encourages without criticizing, but will push me to become better week to week. He will point out deficiencies when needed but has a sense of humor about it. He is knowledgeable and musically skilled in his own right. He would be a good choice for both children and adults based on his demeanor.
Crystal, is a wonderful piano teacher...very warm and friendly with such talent. Kaci really enjoyed taking piano lessons she still plays every now and then.
We have used Piano Lessons in Your Home for about 7 years and have been pleased with them. We started with one student and now have three. Over the years we have had three teachers. Each one had their own style and methods, but all were good. It has been nice to not have to travel for lessons, especially when we have had new babies and/or young children. We have also had positive interactions with the main office when needed. They have responded to emails quickly and been willing to work with us on teacher selection. Each teacher prepares their own schedule and coordinates at least one recital or audition per year. All of our students achieved Superior or Superior Plus status at this years Piano Guild Auditions.
I took voice lessons from Amy for about 5 years. She greatly helped me in learning all the proper ways of breathing and all that goes into being a better singer. She also gave voice and piano lessons to 2 of my nieces and they loved Amy and looked forward to their lessons with her. She's very talented and uses her God given musical gifts to help others.
My 10-year old daughter has been taking piano lessons with Ms. Lilia for over 2 years now. She has taken my daughter's talent from not only being able to play the instrument but encouraging her creativity. As a result of her teaching/coaching my daughter has been able to become more creative in playing and wrote a few songs. I highly recommend her to anyone.
Jennifer did a beautiful job listening to my concerns and gave us a wonderful violin teacher! Ella is prospering from her teaching and friendship. And, having the lessons in my home is a life saver. Can't recommend enough!

I'm a private piano teacher/tutor with over 12 years of playing experience as well as trained with my teacher to help others in music. In addition to piano, I have over 4 years of experience playing bass/guitar. I love music, and my goal is to help others achieve their greatest potential.
I own my music studio at my home in Delaware, Ohio. I use various lesson plans to meet my piano student's needs. They learn well by creativeness with music games and activities. I'm a member of the Ohio Music Teacher's Association and the National Guild of Piano Teachers. I do two piano recitals per year. I love seeing my students progress as they have fun learning!
I give individualized lessons that differentiate and work with my students' different learning styles. Along with the piano, students will learn theory and aural skills to increase their musicality. Students have the option to travel or have the teacher travel. Accommodations will be made.
I'm an experienced teacher for beginning adults and children. I teach sight-reading and ear training for pure enjoyment or for serious students. I'm very motivated and will work with your schedule.
I believe that there is a hunger for music inside every one of us. As for myself, I have found my hunger to be quite eclectic. I have vigorously studied classical piano, Western harmony, jazz, rock, pop, sound synthesis and music production. I believe that a student's love for music should not be constricted to a single genre. I invite my students to explore with me the expanse of music as a whole.
I have a lot of experience as a teacher and I have professional experience as a performer.
Piano is my main tool in life in connecting to people in most intimate and passionate way. I teach piano in the way that an individual student can listen and feel the piano as the magic wand in her/his own hand and can practice mindfully and independently. As a result, we create and enjoy an emotionally safe place or a watering hole at the piano every day.
Being a retired elementary teacher, I enjoy teaching beginning piano to elementary-age students. I use the Piano Adventures series.
I am a current guitar, piano and voice teacher looking to expand my student list. I have been teaching for over a year, and I offer competitive rates among most studios. Rates will vary depending on distance I would have to travel to your home, or if you come to my home studio. I also accept students of all ages. Vocal specialties include rock, jazz, opera and classical.
