Motivating yourself to go to the gym regularly can be a huge hassle for anyone. But once you start, you find yourself pushing harder and harder to achieve your physical goals. It simply takes repetition, and a motivating trainer to push you along when you don't feel like it that day. I trained with Terry for basketball, strength training and diet plan. He is very knowledgeable in physical health and really breaks down the science behind what he's teaching. As for basketball, I'm a pretty average player for my age (30). Training with him on my shot form has helped tremendously in allowing me to make more of the shots that I take, as well as improving my footwork. This helps a lot in defense. That coupled with my strength training and diet has given me vastly more endurance in every aspect of my life. The hardest part of training is the diet. However, that is really more up to you. Surprisingly, Terry's diet plan is rather easy to stick to and it doesn't starve you to death like some diets do. But like any diet, you have to be really committed to it in order to see results. I lost about 18 pounds in just over 4 weeks while on it. Terry is very easy to take direction from , and very willing to work with you on your schedule to ensure that you maximize your workouts both in the gym and at home. I would highly recommend him to anyone looking to improve their overall health and performance.

I started training with Cathy in April of this year and I know that I will still be training with her April of next year. I never have lost weight the right way to keep it off and she has helped me with my food choices and exercises for my body to re tkeep the weight off. These are the first classes have taken that I am sure that I am working EVERY muscle in my body! The group exercises are great because the are honestly fun.

"Wake-up calls" present themselves in many forms. However, I believe most would agree they often occur as the result of a loss-- the loss of a loved one, a friendship, a marriage, a job, or one's health. My wake-up call occurred July 24, 2012. After avoiding annual physicals for 6 years, I walked out of my doctor's office with a prescription for blood pressure medication and a cholesterol count of 239. Until the age of 35, I was the woman everyone envied--the one who could eat anything and not gain an ounce--then everything changed. For the next 15 years, I continued my unhealthy eating habits until I was 60 pounds overweight, with blood pressure levels bordering on dangerous. After leaving the doctor's office that same day in July, I met a woman who had lost 60 pounds over the previous 18 months. I immediately asked her how she lost the weight. She said she hired a trainer, and the trainer's name was Bev Hobaugh. I contacted Bev 5 days later. She listened carefully to my "story," and booked my first training session the following week. Two years, 50 pounds, and 45 cholesterol points later, I'm still training with Bev 2 days per week, and have no plans to quit!! Bev's philosophy centers on a commitment to a healthy lifestyle-no matter how busy or hectic one's current lifestyle may seem. Bev's program is not just about exercising to lose weight. She views weight loss as the wonderful benefit of clean, healthy eating, combined with cardio workouts and strength training. Aside from the exercise program, Bev also discusses healthy food options for clients like me who travel extensively for work--especially when ordering in restaurants--which is a challenge for everyone! No. Is it worth it? ABSOLUTELY!!!
My 93 year old mother just had her introductory session with Jason, and it was more than I thought it would be. Jason had her doing things I didn't think she would do on his first visit. It was so successful, we have signed up for 10 sessions. Jason was more than I thought I could get in a physical trainer. After mom went into hospital walking, she came out of the rehab center after two months, unable to walk. In a facility that was understaffed, and with healthcare workers who only lived for a paycheck, a 93 year old woman who once lived alone at night and climbed two sets of stairs couldn't walk or feed herself when she returned home. Mom is standing again and getting her strength back, and watching Jason work with her today, I was amazed at how wonderful she responded to his requests. Jason seems to have a way of saying the right thing and getting out of his clients (my mom) more than I could myself. I would recommend Jason to anyone after just one visit, and will update at the end of our first 10 sessions. Thanks Jason!

John is focused on helping me achieve my goals and makes every session challenging (& somehow fun). My fitness has increased noticeably and I’ve seen improvements in my ability to complete more sit ups / core exercises, increased strength, flexibility & generally push myself harder throughout each session. I find I actually look forward to my workouts. Importantly: – He ensures that my technique is always correct to avoid any injuries. – He is extremely reliable & punctual – always set up & ready to start training ahead of time, with an exercise routine planned.
I had trained for 6 years with numerous trainers before I started training with Dan. I could not do even 1 pull up. After a few months working with Dan, I was able to do 7 pull ups! He knows how to get your body where you want it to be. You Will gain strength and have a better body. I am a male in my late 50's and he was able to give me the stronger body I had hoped for. If he can do that for me, imagine what he can do for you? I have also seen the great results he has had with young athletes. If you are looking to have a better, stronger body, I highly recommend working with Dan!

I started working with Jon-Michael about a month and a half ago. I had been eating poorly, hardly drinking any water, and was generally lost health-wise. I had a long history of different confused attempts at weight loss that left me realizing that I needed help, someone to guide me and keep me accountable. I called him when I was turned off by a local gym's pressure and dishonesty regarding their training program. From the start, he was interested in what my current habits were, what my goals were, and what I was open to learning. He was and continues to be patient, supportive, and encouraging while giving me the tools and weekly motivation to keep going, make daily small changes to feel better, do more physically, and make progress on my overall health. He has a genuine interest in helping people, and offers help regarding your daily habits (water intake, breathing), as well as nutrition and fitness counseling. Although my journey to health has only just begun, I've already noticed a difference in my body and ability, and feel nothing but optimistic and excited about the future.
I'm a lifelong student of Yoga and have not considered any other form of exercise until I started having severe pain issues in one of my hips. It all came down to needing strength training and breaking through habits I'd made in my body over the years with Yoga, age, childbirth etc. If I do what Aaron says, I'm completely pain free. If I quit, the pain returns. He lets me complain in the unfamiliarity that is the gym, challenges me, but also respects my max. Being pain free is a priceless gift.
Great Staff. They really look at your form while your training. People that go the gym are really friendly and not pretentious. Owners are approachable and accessible. Thanks for making working out less of a chore.
Rob was very knowledgeable, patient, and kind to me during our workout session. He understood that I was not a fan of exercise,I expressed to him that it was something I needed to do to lose weight and feel healthier! He showed me a few different routines and one was actually really fun. There was one that used something called a Bosu, which really challenged me to stay balanced and burned lots of calories in the process After our sessions were done, we set up a routine that I could easily do in my home and that fit in my schedule. Now I feel confident that I can carry out our exercise plan and work towards my fitness goals. I highly recommend Rob as a personal trainer!
