I was not impressed, as I felt like they just wanted my money. Each week, we’d just sing songs that I’d get to pick. We never went over proper singing techniques, how to bridge the gap in singing, etc. I felt like no progress was made because nothing was ever taught. I found a cheaper instructor who’s much more knowledgeable elsewhere."See more

Learning music is for all ages!We're very impressed with the class space he has set up in his new (as of early 2022) space on Madison Boulevard.It is small for now, but with the experience and expertise Eric brings, we have no doubts classes will soon outgrow the space.He has been flexible with our time and access needs and very accommodating with regards to illness. His hourly rates are comparable to other teachers in the area, and it's a personalized experience. I would tell Rich what I was interested in learning and we would break down the steps of achieving my goals together. Rather that being slowing down a song and listening to each note, coming up with exercises to improve technique, or even diving into some advanced music theory. But, if I was having trouble understanding a topic, Rich would recognize it and find a different teaching approach that was better suited for my personal learning style.
