Itâs only been a month, but I already feel the difference and improvement in my fitness level. Ricky is personable but the sessions can be intense, which is a good thing to me. He also keeps you going with a good balance of cardio, resistance training, and boxing which keeps things from becoming tedious. He makes sure you don't overexert yourself, but still keeps it challenging and progressive. I would highly recommend Ricky as a trainer.(show less)

Well I actively work on my communication and teaching style. Maybe because I need too! It's an ever evolving process similar to the one any student goes through with their focus. But it's very rewarding, feelings as though as my students are growing, that the work that I'm putting in, really helps me reach them further. This helps encourage leaps in understanding or growth in ability or fundamentals. My primary background of interests lies in martial arts, eastern philosophy, and western psychology. Of course I love seeing my students progress, and feeling excited about themselves. I really like the challenging moments though, being there with a student or client when they are struggling with something. Maybe we put it down and come back to it, or we see if we can figure it out, but it always feels like something we're doing together, and that's very rewarding.(show less)
