I asked for a drywall repair quote. He came with a couple of guys, and was ready to start work immediately. They did the job quietly and efficiently in just a couple of hours. The texturing match to existing work was excellent. Appropriate materials were used... concrete drywall board since the repair was in a bathroom. I would definitely call him again if I need drywall/ texturing.
Mr. Juan was extremely professional, polite and friendly. He worked quickly and competently. He did the initial work requested and additional work that came up. The price was more than reasonable. I would absolutely recommend him for any home improvement work you may need done! Job: Built new & install back patio door frame, painted 2-rooms, back patio door & all trim, self-leveling back patio, painted concrete front porch and back patio. A Job Well Done !!!
Horatio did an excellent job extending our backyard concrete patio, staining and stamping it. He did everything just like I imagined. It came out absolutely beautiful. I would have given the entire job 5 stars but one of his workers busted a backyard sprinkler while on the job. Horatio offered to get a guy he knows to fix it, but it just took too long. So we found someone ourselves and paid for it. Lastly our grass near where his worker was digging needs to be replaced too. All in all, he did an awesome job with the patio/concrete itself. He's very talented and knows how to deliver the customers vision. Also, a really hard working nice guy too.
I am so pleased with the work Clint & crew did sanding and staining my floors. He was so easy to work with, trustworthy, and did an amazing job at a reasonable price. I could not be happier with the quality of the work and I highly recommend using his services. Thanks again, Clint!
Michael and Bryan were excellent throughout the whole job. I had all three bathroom floors done in tile and the whole process was great. They finished sooner than expected and pricing was good value. Like all reno jobs I've had done with my current house, there were updates/modifications I had to add to the tile job to suit my vision and Michael was able to go with the flow on that. Obviously there was a charge for that but nothing unreasonable and he was nice enough to add some items at no charge. I'd like to mention that for most of the job I was out of town and had to give him the keys to the place. At first I was very worried due to past contractor experience but now that the job is over I can say that I'm totally comfortable with him & bryan in my place without me being there. Now I have a floor guy I can trust which makes future floor jobs that much easier. Note: While he mainly focuses on floors (wood, tile) he will also do bathroom showers as well which I'm considering redoing in my master bath. (But only with past customers.) Overall a good experience and I will be using him next month for my hallway and laundry tile job. See you in january Michael & bryan!
Frank was the first of several contracted me about this bathroom wall and floor tile project for my adult son's home in Garland. As a retired building contractor with 40+ years of experience, I am very pleased with the professionalism that Frank and his crew demonstrated as reported to me by my son Charlie. Well done Frank Bonilla.
Wilfredo and Rudy were very attentive to detail as well as efficient in completing the exterior painting and staining I needed done.
380 Remodeling did an amazing job install new wood floors , tiling my master bath great quality very professional and delivered as promised, thank you Frank and his team we highly recommend them for friends and neighbors
Lowell was easy to work with and did a great job replacing and installing new tile floors in less than three days. We had two bathrooms remodeled. He was early every day. He got straight to work and asked if it was satisfactory during the process. I would absolutely use him again and will refer him to friends and family!
This was a multi-project event. Over 200' of cedar fencing with 12' drive and a walk gate, and a 10' x 20' color impregnated patio and walkways with a textured surface imprint. I received numerous quotes, and Ascot Fence was right in the middle of them all, and the best overall when valid recommendations they provided for footings were implemented, and the fact they included the permit cost and did the legwork for Fort Worth permitting. I chose to finish the patio cover myself, for which the permit is valid for concrete and cover, to be completed within 6 months. The other contractors providing quotes never asked about my plans for a cover, which requires additional footings beneath the slab, not just a slab. Had I gone with another contractor I seriously considered first, I would have had a nice patio but not met the requirements for the cover. I would then have had to rip it out and start over. Total cost involved made Ascot the best all around deal! There were long weather delays and a couple of hiccups along the way caused by concrete suppliers, which were resolved by Andre. Have received numerous walk-by/drive-by compliments on the appearance of the fence, and the patio looks fine also (not exposed for walk-by comments). One neighbor asked if I won the lotto, or something! I will stain the fence myself once given a chance to dry properly, and it should look even better. The crews worked fast and seemed to know their assigned duties, so actual work time was only 2-2 1/2 days, total, spread over 2 weeks. I would hire Ascot Fence again, and will in the future for the back 190' of fence (assuming prices are still in the ballpark).
Gererdo did some great work on my backyard concrete and we had him install textured concrete color was off, but he was smart and fixed the entire concrete and now finish looks great i wouldnt hesitate to recommend him to do concrete floor work
We had Emmanuel complete a bathroom project for us. We originally planned to have our shower retiled, but Emmanuel and his partner René were thorough in their deconstruction and detected a much larger issue. We ended up having water damage in the subfloor and walls, requiring basically a complete overhaul of the bathroom. Emmanuel was understanding and flexible with us when the project scope got larger than what we had initially budgeted for. We basically had them do an entire bathroom remodel. Their quality of work is impeccable, and they do things the right way without cutting corners. They do not subcontract anything out, so you know who is going to be working on your entire project. Most of all though, Emmanuel and René displayed a great amount of honesty and integrity, something that is hard to find in contractors these days. They went above and beyond what they said they were going to do, and they won't stop until it's right. They committed to the job and didn't work another project until ours was complete. I plan to use them for all of the jobs that come up for me in the future.
Mike with HomeRun Fencing and his staff did an Excellent Job. Mike was quick to respond to my request for an estimate, came out the next day, gave a very reasonable price, started the job on time and finished a day early. He used 10' metal poles and sunk them an extra two feet in concrete. The cross beams on the fence were stronger than the usual ones used by everyone else. He also repaired my deck with first rate workmanship. I recommend Mike and HomeRun Fencing without any reservation, they are 5 star in everyway.
These guys did an awesome job on our rehab house. They widened a doorway, expanded the hot water heater closet so we could put a door on it, added a sub-floor in the bathroom, and sheetrock textured and painted the ceiling in several rooms. They were fast and efficient. Will definitely call them in the future with any of our needs.
I am a commercial flooring contractor in Austin with over 15 years experience. I found Brian and Aisha on thumbtack. They executed an excellent installation at my Mother In-laws house in McKinney. They installed a superior product and provided greater service for about the same cost of big box stores. If you are on the fence or being told different information, you should highly consider using them for your project.
One of the best qualities of acid-stained concrete flooring is its resistance to wear and tear. My family is always on-the-go, and tile and carpet was not going to cut it anymore. I had my floors stained by Zac several years back, and stained concrete floors simply do not wear out!
We had Texas Hardwood Floorings install our hardwood floors in February 2007. They removed old carpet, tile, and wood flooring. Then they installed flooring of approximately 1200 sq. feet of 2 1/4″ wide red oak planks. They also stained an existing set of stairs to match the new hardwood floors. Throughout the week long installation process everyone involved was dependable, professional and courteous. The installers were extremely conscientious about their work and about leaving the house neat and tidy at the end of each day. My family and I were able to live comfortably in our home during the process and at the end had beautiful floors to enjoy. I would highly recommend Texas Hardwood Flooring for any work needing to be done on floors. Their experience, professionalism and dedication to their customers satisfaction made the process both easy and very worthwhile. Kathy B. Flower Mound, Texas
How lucky are my wife and I to have found Cesar. We have many good things to say about Cesar beginning with he is an expert craftsman and a perfectionist. We were looking for a contractor to remodel our master bathroom, which included extensive demolition, moving the shower, installing a larger bathtub, rerouting the plumbing under the concrete slab, all new marble tile (floor and walls), new marble counter tops, a new bath cabinet, texturing walls, installing a frame less glass shower enclosure, painting (he had to paint the bathroom twice because of a poor color choice). During the process of doing the above remodel, we decided that 2 upstairs bathrooms needed new floor tile which Cesar also did for us. Additionally, we had new granite installed in our kitchen and we asked Cesar to install the limestone backsplash for us. Cesar contracted for us to have a spice cabinet built to enclose the exposed side of the refrigerator, which turned out spectacular. I cannot say enough good about Cesar and his work ethic. He is extremely honest, very thorough, extremely respectful of you and your property. Cesar knows what he is doing and he does not take shortcuts to get the job done, you can be sure that he will do the job the right way. During the time he spent in our home, Cesar and his great colleague Ozzie (Oswaldo) became part of the family. When the job was done we felt like he was moving out. Sort of sad to see them go. Cesar and Ozzie will do well because they make a great team, they are very honest, and they have a superior work ethic, and a talent for remodeling. Above it all, we found Cesar to price his labor very reasonably. For our job, he presented us with the actual invoices for all materials without markup. Rest assured that should we need work done around our new home, we will be calling Cesar and Ozzie back again. Good luck to you Cesar and Ozzie. You deserve all the best!
First and foremost, Rick and his team are true professionals who take extreme pride in the work they do. This is something you don't find in a lot of contractors these days. I just bought a house and I needed my wood floors screened (slightly sanded) and a new coat of polyurethane applied. I had minor scratches and scuffs throughout the house. Rick quoted me a good price so I decided to go with him. They came and did the work and the floors looked good. After a day I began to notice certain areas of the floor flaking. I immediately notified Rick of the problem. After inspecting the floor it was determined the floors had originally been done with a water based poly. Rick's team went over it with an oil based one, so the poly never adhered to the floor. Without making any excuses and without hesitation, Rick told me they will go through the house and correct the issue. I have a 3200 sq house and 90% of it has wood floors. They came back, re-sanded the floors and applied a new coat of polyurethane. For some unknown reason, that second application did not take either. I was pretty irritated because of having to be displaced yet again and the issue still went unresolved. I have dealt with situations like this in the past and this is typically where most contractors start making excuses or putting the blame elsewhere. This is also the time they typically see the ugly side of my personalty. Before any of that could happen, Rick explained that he did not understand why we were having these issues but he was determined to make things right. He said they would have to come in and start from scratch. This involved sanding the floors down to the bare wood, re staining and reapplying a new coat of polyurethane. I was not happy knowing I would have to be out of my house for several more days. The upside would be the floors looking brand new. I also realize things sometimes don't go as expected. The fact that Rick was determined to correct the issue no matter the loss he would incur, showed true integrity and pride in his work. I have the utmost respect for that. I was annoyed at having to be displaced yet again, but ultimately I just wanted the job done correctly. After it was all said and done, the floors look amazing! I waited to write this review ensuring there would be no further issues. At the end of the day this was a win-win. I for all intense and purposes, got brand new floors because Ricks team took out every scratch, ding and imperfections that remained. Rick has a customer for life and a strong spokesman for the amazing work his guys do. So I will say, if you need work done on your wood floors, look no further than Venetian Hardwood Floors!! Not only do they do excellent work, they do it at a really fair price. They have an extreme level of pride in the work they do and above all...an extreme level of integrity.
We updated our kids' bathroom with new floor tile, shower tile, tub, and some ceiling repair. The showroom has a variety of choices and Patsy and the crews were great from beginning to end. We love the results!
5 Star put a metallic epoxy floor in our home and we love it! I appreciated Sergio listening to all my questions and his team doing all they could to make the experience easy. I like that they are honest and very very hard working. Their care for the job really shows.
