I needed a bartender last minute for my wedding reception. The bartender I previously hired flaked on me the weekend before my wedding. I hired Marcia bartending 4 days before my wedding. I could have not been more pleased and thankful with their service especially in such short notice. They made great drinks, my guests loved their friendliness and their professionalism. Marcia and her brother did everything to make sure to help me and make my wedding day a very memorable one. They came early to set up and had drinks ready before my guests arrived. They served 130 guests with no problems. You cannot go wrong hiring these 2. Thankfully I found them and if I found them sooner I would of hired them from the beginning.
I hired Beverly for my 3/25/17 wedding in Canyon Lake. She was such a joy to work with throughout the entire process. I know nothing about flowers and she was more than willing to meet with me several times and even met me at a wholesale floral supply company to show me different flowers and to get a feel for what I liked. I told her what I liked and gave her my colors and she did the rest. She was affordable and worked within my budget, actually keeping us below our budget. My bouquet was gorgeous! I'd given her a rosary that belonged to my grandmother to wrap around my bouquet and my coordinator told me she gave it such great attention. It was perfect! I got so many compliments on the flowers, especially the gorgeous alter arrangements and the fresh flower cascade on my cake. I highly recommend Beverly and her work for any event.
when i was planning my wedding i realized "hey, i need help"! As most of us do in this day and age i turned to facebook lol I (jokingly) stated "can i just hire a wedding planner! Low and behold i had a response, and it said yes you can! I was given Shalamar's contact information. My initial thought was, no way! i cant afford a real wedding planner, but when i had my first meeting with Shalamar i was pleasantly surprised. The cost was within my budget for what i needed ( i only needed day of coordination) and my first impression of her was ... comfort... she put my mind at ease, very attentive to what I wanted and how i wanted everything. She asked questions, as many as she had to and took notes! I knew i was going to be ok! Most brides know we want things how we want things and when we cant be there to overlook things it is extremely stressful. Shalamar helped take that stress off my shoulders. She was there front and center for rehearsal and taking notes as to who belongs where and with who. Day of wedding she was at the church even before i was, and made sure flowers were in place and people were in place. My bouquet was wrong, wrong and wrong, well she found the flower lady and had her fix it. easy fix but for a bride its the end of the world lol. When we got to the venue, again, she was already there and everything was in its place. The last minute items i had for her were put where i wanted. She had a schedule and was on it! She made sure everything went as it should, even had her assistant to help, because as you know one person can not be in 2 places at once! She made things even easier for us when she made sure she got our gifts into our vehicle before the end of the night. All in all she was the best facebook response i ever got! I am so very glad i had the opportunity to hire her! She was on point and for a person like me, pick, she was my perfect fit! Thank you Shalamar for everything, thank you for treating my special day like it was your special day and making sure everything was perfect!
If you are reading these reviews to help you decide if Dilshan is the right wedding planner for you, I want you to stop right now and call him before someone else books him. All joking aside, working with Dilshan during my brother's wedding was such an enjoyable experience. He has all of the great qualities that an elite wedding planner should have. He is quite possibly the most organized person that I have ever met and he coordinates everything with a calm and confident demeanor. Having worked with several other wedding planners in the past, I can also say that Dilshan has other qualities that make him stand apart from the rest. His warm personality and helpfulness showed that he cared about my brother's wedding and all of the people involved in it. Several times during the wedding day his gratitude went above and beyond the duties of a wedding planner. At the end of the wedding he even gave my mother and nephew a ride back to their hotel so that the rest of the wedding party could continue to celebrate. He is not a good wedding planner. He is the best. Book him now, you will not regret it.
Wolf Weddings & Events did my Day Of Wedding Coordination. I was very impressed with the team that supported my wedding. Emily was on top of it!!! She was not only prompt and professional, but she also handled the little last minute changes without missing a beat. I was able to relax and get ready without concern. Her and her team were so helpful in managing the setup and little details that made our wedding beautiful! They made sure that everything went smoothly all the way to the very end of the evening! Lynnette was so great during my wedding! Although I couldn't afford to hire a planner for the entire process Lynnette steppes in and helped with the day of and if I could have I would have used her for the entire process! She is professional and efficient and is willing to help in any capacity needed. I would not hesitate to suggest her to anyone needing help with their event. Tara went above and beyond for our event to make sure that everything came out excellent! We had some issues with a vendor the day of the event, and she actually assisted us in finding a resolution quickly as possible. This isn't required of her, but she wanted to make sure that the event went smoothly. She was at the venue extremely early to make sure that everything started properly. She is very punctual and tries to make sure that the schedule she creates is adhered to, but she is also flexible and able to adapt to changes very quickly. A wedding is a very stressful event for the bride, groom, and their families. Tara took the unnecessary stress out of the day and made sure that we were able to focus on the wedding and each other. If we didn't use Tara we wouldn't have known where to begin in regards to planning the day of the wedding and wouldn't have been able to have an amazing day as we ended up having! I would definitely suggest you use Tara for your wedding day coordination needs. I would also suggest using her for full planning because I believe that if we used her the wedding planning would have mainly been stress-free. Thank you Tara!!!!!!
Jordan was a true pro. When I first thought about hiring a "day of" coordinator for my wedding reception, to be held outdoors at a grand old home on the San Antonio river, I didn't really understand all the work that person does long before the day of the event. From our first communications on Thumbtack before I even hired her, she was friendly and knowledgable, asking plenty of questions to get a sense of what I wanted. Meeting her, she was thorough and efficient, getting contacts and following through with all my vendors. She was onsite the day before and first thing in the morning, making sure everything was set up properly and in place. I spent a blissful 5 hours not worrying about anything but visiting with guests because Jordan was making sure everything ran smoothly, including getting us in place for the cake cutting and toast. All the vendors appreciated her as well. I can't recommend her enough, and am so happy I made the investment. It was more than I was planning to spend initially, but she was worth every penny. WOW! Where to even begin. Kim was absolutely amazing from the start. She worked with us throughout the whole entire process of our wedding and knew exactly what we wanted - a fall themed wedding. She is a pro at decorating, especially weddings, and had the magic touch on placement and making due with the space we had. Anytime I had any questions at all she would get back to me promptly and would relieve any stress I had. Kim truly has the vision and made my wedding a dream come true. As a bride, we want our day to be perfect, and it could not have been any more perfect than it was thanks to Kim, her assistant Elaine, and the other workers that helped set up. They also provided take down/clean up and day of coordination. I wasn't considering a wedding planner/day of coordinator until we met with Kim and I am so glad we hired her! Everything went smoothly and my husband and I didn't have to worry about a thing. We truly got to enjoy our day and have gotten handfuls of compliments on how magical and beautiful our day was. I could go on and on about this company and their employees. I am SO thankful and grateful for everything they did. My beautiful wedding was coordinated by the awesome Mrs. Stephanie Lee. My wedding was Nov 20th, 2015 a destination wedding and because of the location I wasn't able to always fly from California to Texas on a daily basis. Stephanie took care of everything!! We were always in contact and she never missed an email/text or call! She was great in finding the greatest venue, DJ, florist, caters and so much more, I never had to worry about anything. And I loved that! She took all the amount of stress away even on the night before my wedding! Swear she was my "Fairy Godmother", she made my childhood dream wedding come true! So if you're in San Antonio or near by the area and plan on getting married, or having any party really, Stephanie is your go to girl!!! She gets things done and if you're a bride on a budget (like I was!) she's the best discount queen ever! She knows the best places that have excellent prices! You won't be disappointed with her work, she goes above and beyond for you! Her staff were sweet, very professional and I couldn't be more blessed to have her coordinate my wedding! I just recently hired Becci in October 2011 for my fiance that was going crazy with trying to plan a 250 guest wedding. In just a matter of a month she has found our wedding venue,cake vendor, and DJ. Becci is still going strong with the rest of the details we are needing to have lined up before we can take a mini break. She has given my fiance lots of ideas for everything. Martino catered my wedding and it was a great success. We had a hawaiian theme, including hawaiian food, and Martino did an excellent job preparing the menu we had in mind. His presentation was very authentic, including ti leaves and colorful flowers on the tables, and he even provided bamboo dinnerware and cutlery! Martino took our theme into consideration when planning the setup of the food and made sure that everything would be just the way we wanted it. We served guava flavored cupcakes to our guests, which Martino allowed us to try beforehand to make sure he got them just right. The first batch he made was tasty, but didn't pack enough flavor for us. A few days later, we tried batch #2, which was just right. We got several compliments from our guests about how delicious they were! Martino helped make our wedding everything we had hoped it could be. Thank you so much!
Imogene at Elated Weddings made my destination wedding stress free and amazing! She worked with me through the planning stages to help me brainstorm and organize, and she was there the entire wedding weekend to make sure things stayed on track. I loved that she kept all the stress of a wedding from getting to me so that I could enjoy my special day.
