I enjoyed the guitar lesson. I believe I will be able to learn well from his instruction. I reconmmend him to anyone wanting lessons. God bless . Rev Joy
In more than 30 years of off and on guitar lessons, I've had a lot of teachers. Trevor is the best instructor I've met -- by far. In the first lesson, he figured out my skill level, interests, goals and probably my maximum capabilities. He sent me home that day with tangible and workable exercises (not the general and intangible stuff you usually get), and they worked. In two months, I've made more progress than I have in years. Trevor has a wide range of musical interests, so it doesn't matter what kind of music you like - he can teach it. That's important if you don't know what you want or get bored and like to switch things up. But the best thing about taking lessons from Trevor is that it is clear he likes teaching, and that he's very good at it. I surprised him once by bringing a 7 year old want to be guitarist to my lesson. A fast hour later, I left with the 7 year old knowing how to play a simplified version of his favorite song -- and he'd never played guitar before. Trevor knew how to teach him even though he had no warning or preparation, and he inspired the 7 year old to practice so he could go back for more lessons. This city is full of great musicians and great teachers. It is rare to find one person, like Trevor, who is both. If you're reading this, then you're looking for a great guitar teacher who can make a difference in your playing. You can stop reading and stop looking. Trevor motivates, encourages and teaches, and makes it all fun. He's the teacher everyone is looking for. I wish I'd started lessons with him long ago.
Amir teache my douther to play the guitar since the last year. My douter has a adhd problem, and amir with his spacial way found the right method to teach her to play. I want to mention that we try a few teacher before we get to amir, and the experience was not so good. For my douter the guitar lessons with amir are excellent experience.
Talented, organized, positive and kind: these are just a few of the words I would use to describe Chris Primeau. Chris has been my daughter’s guitar teacher for almost 6 years. Starting with her when she was just 7 years old, he has always been very patient with her, on time and organized. He consistently strives to find a balance between the type of music she wants to play and the kind of music she should be playing to get to the next level. After two years of lessons we upgraded to hour-long lessons to work on both theory and her current songs. Chris had a knack of keeping her involved the entire time, which was difficult for a 9 year old. Now that my daughter is 13 and can be sassy, he meets her with a dry humor that goes a long way in cutting through the middle-school girl syndrome. Recently, my daughter has added Mandolin lessons (from a different instructor) and Chris has been supportive of her in exploring an additional instrument. I think that he truly wants his students to have music in their lives. I cannot imagine a better learning experience for my daughter! For a couple years I took guitar lessons from Chris, also. Doing it more for a creative outlet and to help my failing memory than any sort of talent, Chris was great with me also. Patient and positive, even when I play like crap or haven’t had time to practice; I feel like he met me at my level of commitment and speed without judgment or frustration. I recommend Chris wholeheartedly for any age or level of guitar instruction. His online scheduling makes setting up or re-scheduling lessons easy, he is centrally located and a nice guy.
My wife got me adult guitar lessons fin Round Rock or me as a gift and knew Steve from En Fuego School of Guitar. After the free trial lesson, I felt Steve was eager to figure out my learning style, and make it enjoyable from the get-go. We have been using songs to learn music theory and technique, instead of the first month or two of lessons solely being scales or "three blind mice." I got some immediate gratification from Day 1 on being able to play an actual song (or try to). The first thing we worked on were actually two songs, one of which was Dave Matthews, Crash (the style I wanted to learn). The in-home instruction is super convenient. If you're looking for a great guitar instructor, Steve won't disappoint. Great balance of technical knowledge and skill development with knowing most people want to just start strumming out some songs and helping keep students engaged by tapping into that If you want to learn any style of guitar, go see Steve.
I have been taking guitar lessons from Nick recently, and he is great! Very patient and explains things in a way I can understand. Doesn't jump down your throat the way some instructors do. Know he also teaches voice and keyboard lessons, and believe they'd be a good bet too. I would definitely recommend him!!
My son has enjoyed his guitar lessons and he has excelled under Steve's instruction! I highly recommend Steve as an instructor and musician!
Jason is extremely professional and very attentive to detail! He produced my first CD and graced my original singles with his amazing guitar riffs. Clockright Studio is not only a studio I will continue to work with, but it is extremely affordable! Keep Rockin! Nisha Nandez
I took guitar lessons with Tim a couple years ago before he moved away. I knew his skill and talent from his previous work in bands and it was a no-brainer for me to go to him. His ability to assess where you are at as a student and apply the proper curriculum to help advance you in your craft is what you would expect from a quality teacher such as Tim. If you're looking to open your creativity, you can't go wrong seeking guidance with him. He's got my recommendation 🖒👍
Chris is a great guitar instructor. I couldn’t have picked a better teacher for my 9 year old son. In fact, he made it so much fun for my son that I decided to start taking guitar lessons from Chris as well. Chris easily breaks down difficult guitar concepts and makes them approachable. You can tell that Chris really loves music as it comes through in his enthusiasm for teaching. I would highly recommend Chris to anyone looking for a great guitar teacher. -Jason Faludi
My daughter took guitar lessons with Daniel Dyer. He is a wonderful teacher who helped a beginning student learn the basics and so much more! We highly recommend Dan for guitar lessons!
Although I have played guitar for many years having classes with Gabriel is an eye opening. It is amazing how he can extract information from his vast knowledge of music (PHD in music UT) and make it in simple classes applicable and target to your goals. I would recommend anyone at all levels to have learn guitar with Gabriel. I would not change the way he teaches. Simple, knowledgeable and target to your needs.
I recently started working with Jose on flamenco guitar lessons with almost no experience playing the guitar. Jose breaks everything down and begins with the basics and makes sure you understand the fundamentals. He's really flexible and accommodating with his schedule and makes it to where it is convenient for the both of you. I would highly recommend him for guitar lessons; he is an excellent instructor and passionate about teaching!
Jose is extremely knowledgeable in many varieties of guitar styles. He is also very patient! He makes every class fun. Definitely one of the best guitar instructors I've encountered in a long time!
So far, and I haven't started my first lesson yet, they are very easy to work with and very flexible with my schedule.
Learning the Guitar under David's tutelage has been a very enjoyable experience. I could not have found a better instructor. He makes learning theory fun. I'm looking forward to continue my work with David. So, if you're looking for an instructor, look no further. You will not be disappointed. He loves to teach and it comes through how much during each lesson.
