Scott is a very informed, experienced, and personable guitar instructor. He has a great ear, and and even better ability to pick out your weaknesses and turn them into strengths. I went into my lessons with Scott with a few years of guitar playing experience, but not much knowledge of music theory or even knowing scales. He did a great job of creating lessons and catering to what I wanted to learn. I would definitely recommend him to anyone who wants to learn more about guitar, from beginners to advanced! Thanks Scott!

I've had about 6 lessons with Mary on guitar and have thoroughly enjoyed them. She has a great eye for details in technique thats very important in a guitar teacher to keep you on track. I also like the way she builds the skills on top of each other while not trying to do this be repeating the same song until perfect. This is an excellent way to keep the student engaged while building the technique that will be needed. I also like that she is not locked in to a particular dogma. For example, I'm a pretty large person and we needed to adjust my posture from the standard classical guitar posture. She was able to articulate the general principles that one wants to achieve in their posture and use those principles to help me find a posture that works for my body type. In summary. I would gladly recommend Mary to friends wanting to learn classical guitar.

Started guitar lessons a couple of months ago and couldn't be happier. I was self taught and played by ear. Didn't feel I had time for lessons. But, I was missing a lot of the fundamentals. The lessons have started to fill in the gaps and I'm learning a lot faster than before. I wish I started these lessons a couple of years ago. And way too easy taking these lessons at my place. Highly recommended!

Jacob is fantastic with beginners, especially kids. Instead of focusing on scales and theory, he starts them out playing actual songs they want to play, and builds lessons from there. Hes very chill and encouraging and makes the lessons and practice fun and engaging. I would HIGHLY recommend him to anyone looking at lessons for their kids or themselves! Hes a fantastic teacher!

I am an adult, professional, working full time and raising two teenagers. I have been taking acoustic guitar lessons from David O'Suna for the last year. I have progressed from beginner, with some prior musical experience, to being able to play hundreds of songs. David has been low-key, encouraging and able to challenge me to build on my skills every week. His teaching style is very adaptable and his knowledge and interests are wide ranging. He has been an excellent resource.

Sami is a wonderful guitar player and teach, as well as songwriter and vocalist. He takes a great interest in his students and helps to motivate them to their full potential. He's a fantastic musician and performer and can bring that experience to his students to help them grow in their performance abilities. He's a teacher who can work with beginners to get them up and playing songs they enjoy quickly, or work with accomplished players to improve their skills. A very caring teacher / mentor for his students.

David is a very knowledgeable musician and teacher. I have had lessons from him in both music theory and a band setting. As a band leader he is outstanding and has helped me to understand the theory behind improv soloing. In the study of music theory he is a vault of knowledge and has broken things down to the smallest part so that beginners like me can start learning and USING the info in practice. The book he wrote is well laid out and very useful both in organization of theory and tools for practice on saxophone.

I've been visiting RL's studio for the past several months. The guy really knows his stuff: theory, strengthening exercises, guitar styles, you name it. I appreciate his encouragement and laid-back approach. My confidence and technique has improved tremendously under his tutelage.

I went to Makala for a beginners voice lesson to prepare for singing at my friend's wedding next month. I was very impressed with her skill level and teaching ability. She was personal, yet professional, and I really learned a lot in an hour. I would highly recommend Makala!!

I came to Nathaniel mid-summer 2013 to begin beginner lessons after careful consideration of his skills. He is so accomplished! After adjustments to find the correct guitar (left handed) we finally got down to brass tacks and I have improved so much under his direction. Nathaniel is so patient and always has the right answer when a question is asked. Nathaniel likes putting some humor in with his instruction technique which helps to relax and enjoy the session. Anyone who is looking for a spectacular instructor, Nathaniel is your choice.

I took my 11 yo daughter to Tarik for guitar lessons, and I would highly recommend him as a guitar instructor. He was able to meet her at her level, challenge her and inspire her in equal measure. His depth and breadth of knowledge with theory and technique is very impressive, and is matched by his natural ability as a teacher. My daughter now has the ability to look up nearly any song and be playing it within minutes, because she has an excellent foundational understanding.

Abe is knowledgeable, patient, professional but most importantly, he is passionate about teaching music. I’ve had guitar teachers in the past and I could honestly say Abe is the best. He makes everything so clear and challenges me each week so I’m not bored. He’s professional but he also makes lessons fun! I would highly recommend him as an instructor ;-)

Music teacher, woodwinds, guitar, keyboards, music theory, improvisation. First of all, Bob is one of THE most creative and energetic players in Seattle. His prowess on woodwinds, guitar, keyboards and other instruments is extraordinary! I have been studying music theory and improvisation from him for several years now. His instruction has literally taken me from beginner to a level of playing that far surpasses what I thought was possible. Not only is his instruction clear, intelligent and cogent, but he tailors his lessons for the individual at hand. He took the time to talk to me and see where I was musically.... He listened to me play and interacted with me and gave me confidence to move forward with ease... And it is this sense of confidence that I have achieved with Bob that has really made the difference for me. I highly recommend Mr. Antolin to anyone (beginner or seasoned pro)who is wanting to expand their knowledge of music, their instrument... to sharpen their chops and creative fire.

I've had the distinct pleasure of both, playing music with and learning from Eric. Eric's kind, patient, and flexible manner make him a wonderful teacher, as well as, an asset as a bandmate. One of his many great talents is that he can take his knowledge of the fundamentals of learning music, and make the experience fun and motivating. He performs regularly around the greater Puget Sound area, check him out!
