I have been going to Super Fit for 9 years and find it's a great place to keep your body and mind feeling healthy and strong. At 57 I can still ski, mountain bike and hike with my adult kids, I know its because of Super Fit especially the squats and lunges.The small group environment with the personal trainers keeps you on your toes and makes it more affordable.
Stacey Sorgen has changed my life. I first started seeing Stacey in and it is the best thing I have ever done for myself. I wanted to get into shape for a wedding in August. Stacey met me where I was at. I was really nervous to see a trainer. In my first session as we were getting to know each other and she was assessing my fitness level, I was embarrassed that I had to stop and take a break. Stacey didn't care and made me feel completely comfortable. She talked to me about how everyone has to start somewhere and that no person is the same. Stacey's view on health and wellness is holistic. When I originally started seeing her, I was looking 'to get in shape.' However, I've since learned the importance of taking care of my mental, emotional and physical wellness. Stacey taught me that they all go hand in hand. Stacey approaches each of her clients individually. I have had the opportunity to meet several of her clients through attending bootcamp classes and participating in the quarterly wellness challenges. We are all in different places and we all need Stacey for different reasons - watching her work with us as a group is heartwarming and encouraging. Training with Stacey is my favorite part of my day. There are days when I feel like chatting, there are days when I feel like complaining and there are days when I just need my booty kicked. Stacey meets me where I am every day and pushes me just the right amount. I honestly believe that everyone could benefit from personal training. It is one hour to focus on you. Watching my body change, feeling myself get stronger and feeling generally better every single day is something that I wish that everyone could experience. I have tried different personal trainers before and hands down he is the best. I was a afraid at first because of the p90x but Drahos works with you and customizes the workouts for your fitness level.
I have been following Brandon and his company, Lift Big Eat Big for a while. I finally got the balls to email and inquire about personal training, and the only regret I have is that I didnt start sooner! I have really found my niche in strongman training with them. I have been working with Brandon for a while now, and the gains in my strength have been phenomenal! Even on different sides of the country, he always has a quick response to my texts, whether they be a "fuck you" because I'm sore as hell, excitement and encouragement over a new PR, or a tip to push through that last set. As long as I put in my part and do the work, he is always on time and prompt with providing programming. He has been more available to me, than the previous coaches whose gyms I was ACTUALLY at. You can't deny numbers, and mine only continue to go up! So many thanks to Brandon for the time, encouragement, and programming. If people are looking for a change up in their fitness regimen, I highly recommend Brandon!
Neil Stephens is an outstanding personal trainer! He possesses two genuine and significant qualities that distinguish him from other coaches: #1. Neils primary credential is his personal experience and knowledge earned through years of training as an amateur and professional athlete. #2. He is keenly perceptive----understanding his clients abilities and able to clearly recognize and appreciate their goals and objectives. Additionally, Neil has an open, honest, and friendly personality, and the training sessions are always an enjoyable experience. I look forward to my workouts with him; and even though he may have taken me through a rigorous session, I always leave the gym afterwards feeling refreshed and energized. ` I was looking for a personal trainer that would provide me with a challenging fitness workout that included learning some fundamental boxing skills and techniques. I realized during my first workout with Neil that he had all the qualities I was looking for in a coach and trainer. In addition to the requisite academic and technical schooling to become a professional trainer (Neil is certified by the National Academy of Sports Medicine and is also a certified corrective exercise specialist), he is also a Certified USA Boxing Coach. His proficiency and competence regarding his boxing skills become clearly evident as he methodically reveals his knowledge to you. I have workes with Lynn Hajnal for nearly a dozen years, which certainly attests to my opinion of her excellence as a personal trainer. She is very knowledgable about functional training, strength training, and nutrition. She is very skilled at developing an individual program that meets each client's needs. She is very flexible and adaptable in working with her clients, and really cares about their well-being.
Kym is very talented and has a variety of gifts and professional services to offer. I have been a participant in many of her classes over the past 2 years and she was also my personal trainer. In addition, I saw her regularly for energy and sound healing treatments. Kym is a wonderful teacher and extremely knowledgeable, especially when it comes to safety and knowing the specific needs of each individual. Her classes are well designed, fun, engaging and appropriate for all different levels. Her healing sessions are exceptional. She incorporates a number of different modalities and provides a loving and nurturing space in which to relax and let go. I always feel fully restored and rejuvenated. Kym is punctual, attentive, motivated and passionate about helping others achieve wellness through exercise, yoga and holistic healing. I weighed 330 pounds when Nikki told me that I could do a triathlon. I laughed myself silly. She said, "You just have to be willing to try." That simple statement and her dedication to not give up on me (when I always give up on myself) gave me the motivation that I needed to drop 75 pounds! That following summer, I participated in not 1 triathlon, but I competed in 4 of them!! I have the hardware, y'all (Finishers medals!) Over the past 5 years, I have trained with Sue in Mom & Baby Pilates, pilates and currently in semi-private sessions focused on core strengthening.
