I've just started taking my first guitar lessons ever, about 3 months now, with Scott, I really like his way of teaching, he is very professional and knowledgeable, I would definitely recommend him to anybody that is either a beginner or advanced guitar player, looking forward to be able to play the blues and I'm pretty sure that with his help I'll be rocking the house soon. Play on!!

We went to Tara for guitar lessons for my 11 year old daughter. Tara makes it fun, very knowledgeable and easy to learn with. She's super sweet and the kids just love her. She's a good example and a beautiful person.

I have taken classical guitar course from Mary for about half a year. She is a very professional and friendly teacher. She teaches people not only playing guitar, but also understanding and enjoying the music. I personally really enjoy the experience learning classical guitar with her.

I shopped several places before discovering Seattle Guitar Mentor. Awesome place to learn guitar! I've been taking lessons here since June 2016 and I'm having a blast! My son saw how much fun I was having with it and started taking lessons a couple months after me! Ryan is a great instructor/mentor and really cares about each student. A true professional with a real understanding of instruction techniques and music theory. I am learning so much and Ryan keeps it fun and interesting! Highly recommended.

Started guitar lessons a couple of months ago and couldn't be happier. I was self taught and played by ear. Didn't feel I had time for lessons. But, I was missing a lot of the fundamentals. The lessons have started to fill in the gaps and I'm learning a lot faster than before. I wish I started these lessons a couple of years ago. And way too easy taking these lessons at my place. Highly recommended!

Jake is a versatile guitarist musician and can play and teach classical music as well as any other style. He has a wide variety of surprising practice exercises, never boring, always different and fun. He always includes some part of the theory to explain the piece, to make it easier to understand. Jake would come into our house, always on time, and he was very professional in the way he approached me as a student, and I am very sorry that I had to quit my lessons. He charges less than other teachers I have looked at.

I have been enjoying learning classical guitar from Mr. David O’Suna since last year. My oldest son started to learn acoustic guitar from him one month before I started, and he recommended Mr. O’Suna to me. I’m very impressed by Mr. O’Suna. I am a retired man and have a lot of time, but slow at learning. I have been learning every other week. It is a good schedule for me as I have enough time to learn the new challenges that Mr. O’Suna assigns. Mr. O’Suna has the answers to all of my questions and guides me excellently. My guitar skills definitely have increased in one year. So I would recommend Mr. David O’Suna as a teacher of all kind of guitar styles and I am sure you will get excellent instructions in what you would like to learn.

Sami is a wonderful guitar player and teach, as well as songwriter and vocalist. He takes a great interest in his students and helps to motivate them to their full potential. He's a fantastic musician and performer and can bring that experience to his students to help them grow in their performance abilities. He's a teacher who can work with beginners to get them up and playing songs they enjoy quickly, or work with accomplished players to improve their skills. A very caring teacher / mentor for his students.

I had one 1-hour guitar lesson with Curt and it was a good experience. He clearly knows his stuff. He listened well and took the time to get a sense of where I'm at. After playing some he gave me some exercises that I think will be very helpful. I will be going back for more lessons.

I've been visiting RL's studio for the past several months. The guy really knows his stuff: theory, strengthening exercises, guitar styles, you name it. I appreciate his encouragement and laid-back approach. My confidence and technique has improved tremendously under his tutelage.

I took my 11 yo daughter to Tarik for guitar lessons, and I would highly recommend him as a guitar instructor. He was able to meet her at her level, challenge her and inspire her in equal measure. His depth and breadth of knowledge with theory and technique is very impressive, and is matched by his natural ability as a teacher. My daughter now has the ability to look up nearly any song and be playing it within minutes, because she has an excellent foundational understanding.

Abe is knowledgeable, patient, professional but most importantly, he is passionate about teaching music. I’ve had guitar teachers in the past and I could honestly say Abe is the best. He makes everything so clear and challenges me each week so I’m not bored. He’s professional but he also makes lessons fun! I would highly recommend him as an instructor ;-)
