I highly recommend Nicole for energy work !! Previously, I had been researching the practice of mindfulness meditation applied to psychotherapeutic practice. I was not very familiar with yoga before I started sessions with Renee. I found Renee to be a caring and thoughtful teacher. She shaped our sessions around stretches, breathing techniques and meditation that would be specific in aiding in my healing process after surgery. Renee encouraged me to go at a pace that I was comfortable with. The result were so significant in a short period of time. Nicole is fabulous! Her light shines so bright and her passion for her healing work is inspiring. The warmth in her smile is awesome. My experience in her yoga classes is always life changing. I had never experienced such deep meditation and relaxation. The addition of sound healing is a powerful part of the whole experience she offers to her clients and class attendees. She is a gifted musician and is so willing to share with others. I am constantly saying to everyone that “you must attend her classes”. It’s a blessing to know her.
Private yoga with Chris was such a treat! I'm new to yoga and wanted the chance to learn in the privacy of my own home and at my own pace. He is well versed in making the practice accessible and understandable, I always felt at ease in his presence. Couldn't ask for more out of a yoga teacher.
A year ago I began the practice of hot yoga at my daughters encouragement. My daughter is a yoga instructor and said it would be good for me at this stage of my life. As a senior citizen, I was reluctant to start the practice of hot yoga. I agreed to take yoga classes at my daughters studio and that is where I met Shelly White another yoga teacher and friend of my daughter. I immediately fell in love with Shelly. Her big beautiful smile and her caring personality was what I found to be encouraging to me starting this program at my age. I soon joined a yoga studio near my home and was pleasantly surprized that Shelly taught one of my Friday afternoon classes. A bundle of nerves starting this new venture, Shelly sooned calmed me down and was very helpful to me as I learned the class and the poses. Shelly made me comfortable by being so helpful and patient with me that I never missed her Friday afternoon class after that. We have become great friends and Shelly is the greatest teacher who helped a senior start a new program of hot yoga.
When i met Thalia, I was brand new into the field of yoga and meditation. Everything initially that was taught and shown to me was completely foreign. Almost instantly, that all changed. I not only gain great knowledge of yoga and meditation but at this point, I've gain a new mind state which has allowed me to grow at a phenomenal rate. I provide individualized healing sessions, including yoga, meditation and Thai massage. Yoga sessions will be designed for any skill level or need. In Thai massage, the body is moved rhythmically to allow opening of the joints, stretching of the muscles and tendons, toning of the internal organs and balancing of the bodys energy. The overall effect is one of deep relaxation, rejuvenation, clarity and joy. This style of massage is done fully-clothed and on a mat to allow for bigger movements. I completed four years of rigorous training, which included more than 150 hours of therapeutic nutrition training, specifically, with much overlap of additional nutritional education throughout other courses. In my clinical training, I had over 500 patient contacts, each one receiving nutritional intervention. I will look at your current diet and make recommendations based on your lifestyle and needs.
