Chef Marcel was a pure joy to work with! From creating the menu, to executing every detail the day of, Chef Marcel really gave us 110% effort! His staff was incredibly helpful, even taking the time to iron our napkins and help with tasks not directly related to the catering - but just helping the day go as smooth as possible. Thank you so much Chef Marcel! We wish we could bring you back to Austin with us!
I have used Gourmet Your Way Catering for both business and personal occasions. The food is always excellent, the service outstanding and set-up accommodations tasteful.
Jose is very responsive and has great service, along with him being a great chef of course! He traveled to my parents house for us to do a tasting for our wedding and we were blown away. It was amazing. We got so many compliments from our friends and family about how good the food was. With that being said I have a couple nitpicky complaints for constructive feedback: The plates and silverware were not what we had originally discussed at the tasting. They were supposed to be the nice plastic that looked real and we got clear which looked cheesy to us. It could have had to do with the fact that we did the tasting about a year in advance and things could have been forgotten or overlooked but the change was never communicated to us. Also, my husband requested to have a spicy BBQ sauce during our tasting and the BBQ sauce was on the side at that time. We discussed having spicy and mild options. I was very excited for the pulled pork at the wedding but it had spicy BBQ sauce all over it! I thought it was going to be on the side, like it was during the tasting. It was so spicy that I couldn't even eat it. :( One of our aunts was not able to eat any of the meat because it was "too peppery" but that was the only other complaint that we got. Other than that everyone loved it. Everything was great and I would still highly recommend Mr. WorldWide Catering, it just wasn't quite perfect for my event.
Carolina was awesome. On time for delivery/setup and cleanup. Food was amazing, my office was very pleased. The company logo on the cupcakes was a huge success and a very nice added touch. We will absolutely use Gourmet Catering again.
The catering staff was amazing and polite. We got one chef, one assistant, one server and one DJ. They arrived on time. Server helped us set up and clean up everything. DJ was great! They did a wonderful job! Price is very reasonable and acceptable. Paid them with extra tips when service is finished. Love the team! Recommend for any events!
Having driven about 2 hours from the high desert to Huntington Beach and not having to worry about how to feed all the families we invited for our "company beach day off" made our day even greater. Lessons about vendor permits learned and so I know that in the future we can count on Catering Carnival for these events.
In the past five years my husband and I have attended several fantastic entertainment and charitable fundraisers produce by The Mark Kearney Group. Our memorable highlights include The Jewel's of France in Beverly Hills for Juvenile Arthritis hosted by Teri Hatcher , MKG Emmy suite for breast cancer hosted by Adrienne Malouff, Project Angel Food hosted by Lisa Vanderpump. I hired Chef Mark and his fabulous catering company for our wedding this April in Newport Coast California. We absolutely adore his five star Pacific Rim cuisine. The catering crew was professional, kind and captivating. It truly made our Wedding Day special.
We took a chance with Thumbtack for the first time and hired Susan Kowalski with Wild Thyme Catering for a mixer event we were planning at our place of business. I am so glad we did.... Susan was amazing and the food was also. Her presentation was very nice and everyone was really impressed. We will definitely be using her again.
We hired Pam for our wedding, and I have to say that we were extremely impressed with the service and quality of her catering. Our wedding took place in August of 2016, and our family members are still raving about the BBQ! We got the ribs, chicken, baked beans, coleslaw, and every kind of cheese Mac-n-cheese. It was delicious, and her style of cooking provided us with a feeling of “home.” Pam offered many alternatives to best fit our needs, and was accommodating throughout the entire process. She does everything in her power to ensure that she has made your event memorable. Her and her staff definitely went above and beyond, and we would definitely recommend her to anyone who asks (or doesn’t ask, for that matter).
I have to qualify this review first by saying I have worked as a professional cook and have owned a catering business. So I have an eye for and know what works and what doesn't, what can be prepped beforehand without sacrificing quality, and what can be done on sight and off-site with the aim of making sure everything is properly expedited and comes out on time. When I arrived the table was set up nicely set up and decorated. However, we had previously informed Chef that we were going to be 13 and we would like two tables, as some people are uncomfortable with sitting at a table of 13 people. So we had to ask Chef to please separate the two tables. When Bridgette came the day before, my wife mentioned she wanted a table of 6 and one of 7, not two tables pushed together to make 13. There were also no cloth napkins, but paper napkins. I guess assuming that a request for "linens" did not include cloth napkins, only tablecloths. But I digress. Even though this was done in our home where we are well equipped, I still expect anyone coming to prepare food to come fully equipped to meet their needs without having to use the home equipment. This was not the case, as Chef used our Kitchenaid, tongs, and other items. As well, they did not have a serving platter for one of the hors'd'oeuvres. Furthermore, they had to use some of our silverware because they did not bring everything needed (spoons, forks). There were steak knives on the table when we were eating fish, and no other knives. I had no problem with this because, of course, I wanted the event to go smoothly. But other clients might not have been as flexible. Finally, they used all my kitchen towels and had them all wet, from I don't know what- but it's easy enough to bring your own hand towels. As well, because we used the plates on the table for hors'd'ouevres, they had to wash and prepare again for salad plates, as they had expected the hors'd'oeuvres to simply be finger food. Nonetheless, the hors'd'oeuvres-asparagus with prosciutto and chicken bites, or whatever they might have been-still require plates. This delayed serving. More forethought should have been given to how this was all going to go down. Personally, I would have brought the salad all prepped. Because it wasn't prepped, it meant a longer serving delay. The server didn't know the difference between wine and water glasses-some basic protocol needed. The food was excellent and I had several very positive compliments from the guests, this is where they shined, and it was served hot and fresh like it should be. We had a delicious shaved fennel salad with parmesan, and a main course of Blackened Sea Bass with a succotash and roasted potatoes. That is the beauty of preparing on-site. I say this with the caveat, as mentioned earlier, that a few things could have been prepped beforehand without sacrificing quality. This would have allowed the service to flow more quickly and not have such long delays between dishes. As Chef prepared the chocolate mousse on site, some people had to leave before dessert since it took well over 45 minutes between our main course and dessert. While we had agreed that I would supply the chocolate, it I had known it was going to take chef so long to prepare it, I would have suggested it be made beforehand. If I had done this lunch, I would have brought the mousse pre-made. They used up my whole bag of ice too-I would have brought ice. Finally, food left over was taken away and not left with us. I asked the server I f she was going to leave the food to me as she was walking out and she laughed uncomfortably and said no. My assumption is that the client paid for the food, they should get any leftovers. I give Kudos to the Chef for excellent food, but the service was uncomfortably slow and everyone noticed. Finally, the server was inexperienced. Overall, organization and attention to details were lacking. To end on a positive note, they did an excellent job leaving the kitchen just as the found it and were friendly and professional despite the hiccups mentioned. I didn't have to worry about anything. If you are looking for good food, Chef Mumsie does a great job. But please ask that they send you experienced servers, and make sure to point out every possible detail that you can think of, because in my experience, they did not have a checklist or form to check off what you do or don't need for an event.
Used Sierra Madre Catering for an office holiday party. Would definitely use them again and pricing was very reasonable. Everyone in the office was very happy with the food and they were able to accommodate several vegetarians and one vegan in our office.

My experience with Alexis and So Divine was nothing short of DIVINE! She swept right into my last minute event and coordinated all the pieces efficiently, showed up early the day of with friendly staff, set up a beautiful display that had DELICIOUS food! My entire company has been talking about it since our Monday event--and have requested her to return for other events. We already have her booked for January. Alexis is an exemplary business woman that follows up, follows through and has amazing tasting food! Plus she brings ziplock bags and plastic so that her staff can make to go plates for people. Our entire staff was happy--and she made me look amazing. I highly recommend So Divine Catering for your event needs--especially if you like flavorful food with a smile.
Full Catering for a Birthday- One Hot Dish brought chosen entrees, appetizers and drinks and did such a wonderful job with presentation and courtesy that I will no doubt request theyre services again. The party was an absolute hit!

Do you know how pricey mobile bartending and catering vendors can be in LA? This company is a steal considering the amount of collaboration and quality of service your receive. Punctuality - On time, super fast in setting up, even faster tearing down. I highly recommend this vendor. I planned an entire event from another state and Joanna made me feel like I had nothing to worry about on her end. Will work with her again for sure.
Steven and Mariel did an outstanding job catering my event (low key gathering of friends). I requested Latin American - theme. They prepared delicious guacamole + chips, fried queso, vegetable quesadillas, chicken lettuce wraps and pork tacos with corn tortillas. I was expecting guests with a gluten allergy and guests who are vegetarian. Steven worked with me to customize the perfect menu within my budget. I will be using Steven again in the future. Next time for a more sophisticated professional event in my home.

They catered my company luau and knocked everyone's socks off with the whole roasted pig! I've been to several other events QWorks catered and I can honestly say it's the best Southern California BBQ I've ever had. They use only high quality, fresh ingredients. Not only is the food great, the owners are really nice guys who are super easy to work with and want to do their very best to make your event a success.
Catering made easy. Tuition Bites offers appetizers, entrees, and desserts all made by them. No reheated food or prepackaged desserts. You can tell the quality of the food is more of a homemade cooked meal. That alone made me fall in love. Their staff was really friendly and I look forward to planning another event with them serving us their great food.
Our wedding started a little late and we were very hungry. I'm sure our guests were also. Easton Premier prepared hors' d' oeuvres for our guests for FREE! It kept our guests so happy. The food was excellent as well. We had a plated beef pot roast with a good choice of sides. For the price, it was amazing. They truly impressed us.
