I highly recommend Megan for anyone looking to improve their fitness. Megan's personal training had a major impact in my life. I took yoga lessons for her for 6 months. Through her instruction I was able to balance my mind, body and soul. I also literally improved my balance skills which helps out on my favorite activity...downhill longboarding. Megan is extremely dedicated to and knowledgeable about personal training and fitness.

I hired Allison for a work group yoga class. She responded quickly and was informative of her practice/certificates. We needed a strict 45 minute class. She was 10 minutes early arriving for the class, and ended right at the 45 minutes mark. Very professional and provided all the mats. The class was great for our first beginners class, and more classes to come. Thank you Allison!

Marjorie is, hands-down, the best "teacher" I've ever had. The reality is that to call her "teacher" wouldn't be enough. I came across Marjorie six years ago, when her class was recommended to me by another instructor, and I attended her class at then-Vira Yoga in NYC. I was blown away by everything about Marjorie: her knowledge of the whole body and of practicing yoga safely is above and beyond anyone I've ever met. I am a former soccer player with a history of chronic pain, and always shied away from regular yoga. Marjorie became my weekly ritual-I begin attending her Sunday 4 PM class at World Yoga Center whenever I could, and even sometimes went during lunch to her weekday classes. The modifications that she teaches are unlike any instructor I've ever met. She gently helps you find a way to be in every pose, commands the class with great warmth while also offering to help each student and pay attention to their alignment, and is available for consultation outside of class. She also is not like some yoga teachers, who move through the poses quickly and aren't sensitive to potential injury points. Marjorie is extremely experienced and teaches with safety first. she also incorporates sage wisdom, mindfulness, and recommendations for self-care and homeopathic remedies regularly. And she's funny! Also, she's a native New Yorker, I also found her observations very pertinent and real (for example, many New Yorkers spend time at a desk sitting in a chair, and are surrounded by lots of noise and high energy levels generally - she methodically walks you through how to adjust to each of those norms). I suspect that wherever Marjorie lives and teaches, she is fully engrossed in the patterns and habits of that location. This ability of hers to be "tuned in" and genuine goes a long way in the way she teaches her class. I was delighted to also learn that Marjorie could be a confidant and crucial consult for other health problems in my life. She will always defer to doctors and experts, but Marjorie pointed me towards a rehabilitation specialist and I have been working with for two years, who has also changed my life. Not to mention that several health and mindfulness-related books on my bookshelf are there as a result of Marjorie's recommendation. And most recently, at Marjorie's urging, I completed her reset and re-new course, which helped me to reset my eating habits and tackle my inflammation, and, as she says, "live better in my body" through diet and wellness routines. I am happy to say that I have lost 20 pounds in my inflammation is greatly reduced. And, the whole time I've known her, I've known that she is always available when I may be in crisis with my health. When Marjorie left New York City, a regular of part of my routine did go away. But, Marjorie makes herself available for private sessions via Zoom, and will regularly consult over email. She is an incredible practitioner and anyone lucky enough to should reap the benefits of her wisdom. There are 1 million instructors out there, but they're truly only has one Marjorie. Plus, her dog is adorable!!!!

    Matt Wood taught the first yoga class I ever took, and his welcoming personality and teaching style had me hooked instantly. He is well versed in the movement and postures of yoga, as well as the internal, more spiritual, side of yoga. I highly recommend taking lessons with Matt whether it's your first time, or you're looking to expand your practice. You won't regret it!

    Nick has a very mature understanding of the body which you will quickly realize when training with him. I respect what insight he has to many different areas of fitness. Specifically, Nick has helped me move with better quality in acro yoga, tai chi, and flow arts, and has also given me insight that helped me treat the elbow pain I had been dealing with. Highly recommend this trainer.

    Christian Woelk is not only an amazing yoga instructor, he is a talented personal trainer and program manager. I love that Christian is a soccer player and that carries through to his sports specific training. Also, he has many years of managing and developing corp fitness under his belt.

    Being new to yoga myself, Rachel has been absolutely wonderful in introducing me to various yoga techniques and poses; ranging from relaxing stretches/easing localized muscle pain to more advanced muscle tone building poses. I've noticed my core strength and balance, particularly in the application of surfing and balance oriented activities, has been greatly improved. As each week progresses, each instruction has been tailored to my expanding abilities / improved balancing strength; all the while ensuring proper form/technique and most importantly from a place of encouragement and support. Cannot recommend highly enough! Thank you for all the work you've done for me!

      I currently go to Rachel for a private yoga sessions after being in an accident and spraining my spine. She really helped me regain my strength and this helped get rid of a lot of back pain that I was having. I developed more flexibility which has been so beneficial in easing any back pain. I see her 3 times per week and I began noticing my back tension releasing within the first few weeks with Rachel. She creates a safe space for you to ask questions and really dive deeper into your yoga practice. She was always punctual, kind and professional.
