Here's my review: Hire this guy. So far so great working out w/ JJ. I'm looking to put on 10-15 lbs of muscle, maybe more, and after two weeks I'm already seeing results. This guy is professional, plain and simple. He shows up on time; he asks what you're looking for and tailors the workouts around those goals; he pushes when you need it and reigns you in when you need it; the dude is personable and is very good about training safe and avoiding injuries that will slow you down; and you get all this for a reasonable and competitive rate. Can't say enough about this guy. Hire him - now.
OJ gets straight to the point. You are there to get a workout and reach your goal. He will get you there, as long as you're willing. The workouts are tough but he won't push you past your breaking point. You get your measurements and sets small goals for you to achieve. Plus, you get a packet of what your meals should consist of. Follow his lead, you'll see results.
I was randomly searching for personal trainer on Thumbtack few months ago and got a list of 5 trainers contacting me. Hugo was very genuine. He took his time explaining how he trains and he offered me a free introductory class to try. This was my first time working with a personal training so I honestly didn't know if I was going to like the training session. Hugo was very knowledgeable and patient. He didn't give me any pressure of committing to a package. I have been training with Hugo for about 2 months now. He is a truly excellent trainer. He is the perfect combination of tough(always challenge my strength) and warm (caring and with great sense of humor!). Every training section he always set a challenging yet achievable goal for me. I am stronger and more flexible, I have better balance and most importantly, working out has become fun. I have never felt stronger or healthier. I recommend HUGO without reservation.
My first session with Paul was awesome - it was definitely tough but I know I will see my desired results quickly. Can't wait for my next session!

Meryl Hawk is the best trainer I gave ever had. She brings a huge amount of knowledge to her profession, and I count myself lucky to know her. If you have any doubts about training, don't! She's just that good.
Rochelle is amazing - I was really nervous to start working out after a rough year, and training with Rochelle is the best thing I could have done for myself . She really takes the time to "read" you and structure the workouts in a way that is challenging (for sure) but not intimidating or unnecessarily brutal. She's just on point - I already feel a difference after a month and I actually look forward to it. The woman knows what she's doing. She's also really fun and charming.
If you are looking to learn mixed martial arts and really learn the technique look no further , Ej is the BEST!!! He's an expert and passionate in what he does . He's very professional ,patient and takes his time explains everything very clear. He's very positive and keeps you motivated to do better . He's Flexible and works with your schedule . Every Training session is always awesome and fun! I enjoy learning the technique even when it's challenging. I've been training with Ej for many months now and I will keep train with him for as long as I can! I highly recommend choosing him as a trainer !!! I promise You will not be disappointed !!!
Sandy is an AWESOME trainer. Its tough staying in shape these days working in an office 5 days a week and she's even given me some training I can do at home on my own as well as in the gym. Unlike larger gyms, this is ONLY for personal training, so you're never waiting for a machine or weights, and its very well kept. Give her a call!
Vanesa's easy going manner and tough workouts whipped me into shape in no time. As a super busy person, I appreciate her thoughtful, intentional approach. Workout are always well thought out and efficient to maximize whatever window of time we had. I always feel the burn the next day. With Vanesa's confident guidance, the seconds melt of the clock and the workout is over before you know it. I have been able to build strength quickly while enjoying the tough, but always fun environment that Vanesa's smooth personality provides. 30 pounds and 4 dress sizes ago, I came to Donna at the worst I'd ever felt and looked. I was beginning to have terrible lower back pain from being so out of shape, had outgrown most of my clothes, and didn't feel comfortable in my own skin. I've never been particularly healthy. I grew up in the Midwest with a passion for comfort food, and did everything I could to avoid sports as a child. Early memories of being laughed at in gym class left me with an attitude of "why bother trying?". Donna knocked that out of me once and for all! Through her tough (and I mean TOUGH!!) love, she taught me to push myself further than I'd ever thought possible. She taught me not to be afraid of food... that eating clean doesn't have to mean eating boring. She taught me that even after 30+ years of eating badly and being lazy, there is a healthy person inside of me clawing to get out! I look and feel better than I ever have in my life, and after many years, finally feel like "me" again. Oh, and my old clothes? They still don't fit, but for the opposite reason! Chris is a great trainer and really knows his stuff. For many people, it’s tough to take that leap and hire a personal trainer to get in shape. It’s especially tough if you haven’t done any weight training before. However, Chris will teach and work with you no matter what your abilities are. He’s funny and keeps the intensity at the right level to see results while still being able to enjoy it. After working out with Chris, I feel refreshed. I don’t feel overworked, exhausted, or too sore. I’d highly recommend Chris to anyone who wants to improve their health, body, and happiness.
Carman is an awesome trainer. As a single working mom, Carman is always willing to accommodate my schedule. He pushes me when I want to give up and keeps encouraging me throughout my training. His workouts are tough yet satisfying . Carman is enthusiastic and has extensive knowledge about diet and exercise . I highly recommend his training!!

Coach Sarah's method is - not to be dramatic - life changing. After motherhood changed my body completely, my only goal in teaming up with Sarah was to "get feet on pavement" as she said. Literally that's all I wanted -- Accountability and motivation to get me out jogging. Then it turned into a 10k race that I won medal that said "top 100 female finisher" (not many people at the race but it's still a victory!) which now turned into half marathon training! In 2009, I said to myself "never running a half marathon again" after my first Disneyland Half, and in 4 weeks I'll run my 2nd. All because her method restored this mamma's "runner's high." She's sweet, incredibly encouraging, but tough! Thank you coach for giving me back my love of running!
They say that your body is your temple. After two years of going to school , my body became more like a tent. I never got quote unquote fat per se, but gone were the days of my being built like a brick house. Instead my muscles were getting soft and when I started to get the infamous arm jiggle in my wave, I knew I couldn't take it anymore. That's when I decided I needed someone to whip my butt back into shape and called Amanda with Ace Transformation. Amanda is an effective trainer. She is encouraging, kind and she listens to your needs. She's in your corner, she's your coach. She'll have you cursing her name during every flight of stairs you take after leg day. But I say all of this in a good way because she gives you the tough love you need to get back in there at your true fighting weight. I highly recommend her for all your fitness needs.
