Pete's training was "Training the Trainer". It was amazing! He's punctual, and very professional. The guidelines and notes that Pete provided was very helpful. He also demonstrated how to train. I agree with Pete that it is always better that the owner of the dog train so that the bonding is better. With just two hours of training, my dog has already picked up few commands. Thank you Pete! Tammy began training and working with our chocolate lab when he was 11 months old. While our dog went to stay with Tammy for 2 weeks, we often wondered what was occurring, as we knew that Rudi was strong willed as a puppy and often destructive. During the 2 week training time, we would get messages and even a video or 2 sent to us, showing the progress that she was making with Rudi. After 2 weeks, Rudi returned with behaviors on lease that made realize that with consistency our dog could demonstrate and practice good training behaviors. Tammy has a strong communication system established with our dog so he understands what is expected of him when we walk or work in the house. He really looks forward to seeing Tammy. Even more, Tammy continues to work with us and our dog on a weekly basis, working to train us as well as the dog. We are so pleased with our dog, his training ( which is praise based, not treat based) and our weekly sessions with Tammy. She really wants everyone to be successful.

About

My husband and I needed some help taming our wild beast, and by wild beast I mean our 7 pound Chiweenie. We had had it up to our eyeballs with his barking and leash aggression. My husband and I had different schools of thought about dog training, so whomever we chose was going to have to train us all, not a easy fete. From the first session, we knew that Todd would be up to the challenge. He actually took the time to listen to our concerns about our little boy, and was most sensitive to our thoughts and feelings about dog training. He was very clear from the beginning about what he felt needed to be done and what part we had to play in it. He was also very clear from the beginning that the training would not be sustainable if we did not avidly participate with our "homework" between sessions. He has helped us turn 7 pounds of spaz into a sweet and respectful member of the family. We can now take him out on walks without worrying about leash aggression and have even started taking him hiking!! This very morning he actually let a small child pet him(he was not at all a fan of children). We thoroughly enjoy his company now and are excited to continue to watch him blossom under Todd's direction. Todd is kind, compassionate, professional, and demonstrates a genuine love of animals and a commitment to successful training. He will be our "family" trainer from here on out!! Cannot recommend him enough!

Logan comes to my house which is very helpful. My dog responds well to Logan and really likes him. The lesson is an hour and then I work with my dog for the week until Logan comes for our next lesson. I'm so happy that I found Logan he has this connection with my dog and I call Logan the Dog Whisperer that's how good he is with my dog. I feel Logan really has a love for animals and it shows.

Yesterday I was able to pick up my 7.5 month old GS "Kiara." The difference was night and day from when I dropped her off two weeks ago. I wasn't sure how i was going to deal with her being away from me for 2 weeks as she serves as my service dog. I can tell you that any time I text to find out who things were with Kiara, I received a prompt message back. Every single day when I got out of work, I would see that they had sent me a new video, or two, and one one occasion three. The day I dropped her off, they showed my Kiara so much love, that I felt more than comfortable leaving her therewith them. Very professional, very loving people who will give you the sense that they will keep your dog safe at all costs. If you are expecting to pick up your dog who's been highly trained, to just start listening to you and all your commands right away, you are very wrong. Your dog will learn and never forget the commands they were taught, but they must learn YOUR verbal commands to listen. I would recommend to anyone looking for proper dog training, Off Leash K9 is the last place you will have to look at. They show you results everyday, and you can see all their results on Youtube. I will take any new fur babies to them the first chance I got. 5 star rating all the way. 100 on a scale of 1-10!

Gene is polite and well versed in the area of dog training. So far we are in the puppy class and hope to progress to Protection training. He cares for his own dogs and the dogs of others. Couldnt recommend a better dog trainer in the area. So far all his predictions were correct about our Belgian Malinois. Droopy ears no longer droop. Hire him. You wont regret it.

Matt visited me and my wife to help us start training our dog and to give us directions on how to take care of him. It was a very productive session. He's all about positive reinforcement! Lots of knowledge and a great professional.

About

We adopted a border collie/pit bull mix when she was about 6 months old. At about one year old, she started having some less than desirable behaviors. She would bark and pull while she was on the leash at joggers, bikers, motorcycles and other dogs. We were reaching the end of our rope, having tried a choke chain, a prong collar, even a backpack! We had gone to other dog training classes, nothing seemed to be helping. We called the PoochCoach and from our first lesson there has been nothing but improvement from her. Walking was almost a night and day difference right from the start, she taught us exactly how to communicate what we want from her so she knows what is expected from her. The Pooch Coach is always available for us to reach out to if we ever have any questions which is amazing. You never have to wonder if you’re doing it correctly until the next appointment because you can always call to ask! The methods she uses makes the training fun for us and our dog which helps to turn practicing with her from a chore into bonding time that we are all excited about. We can’t wait to see what else we can learn!

We were concerned about our dog Lola and her anxious behaviors. We contacted Lea and we are so glad we did! Lea is kind, caring and understanding. She took the time to get to know our dog, Lola. She is experienced and really helped us to gain a better understanding of how to help Lola with her issues. She gave us strategies to work on before our next session. She said if we have any issues or questions to let her know so she can help us work through it with Lola. We definitely recommend Lea, without a doubt!

About

We offer dog training and correcting behavior issues with a positive approach, so living with your pet is a pleasure; that is what Pawsitive Thinking is about. Training includes not only how you learn to be a good leader of your pack but also educates your dogs how to be a well-mannered, good citizen. Cues like obedience commands are simple to learn and fun to practice. Teaching our dogs our language ought to be more than stay, sit, heel and recall. It must be the foundation of a loving relationship with a dog that's in balance (happy). Training includes the cues -- watch me, down, sit, stay, wait, leave it, recall (come), drop it, heel, no pull walking, and proper elimination behavior. Also, we learn to stop unwanted behaviors like biting, jumping, inappropriate chewing, digging, barking and separation anxiety. Basic, intermediate and advanced training is offered. My specialties in behavior modification include aggression (dog-to-human and dog-to-dog), excessive fearfulness as well as excessive barking, running away, separation anxiety, jumping, and pulling. If you are tired of your dog's problem behavior, come, and have some fun and learn to enjoy your dog, and then your dog would learn to become a model citizen.

About

I have worked with a few different organizations, fostering and working as a kennel assistant and animal behaviorist. I handle large to small dogs, aggressive to abused dogs, from giving baths to clipping nails, grooming, kennel training, puppy training and much more. I have been working with dogs for over 15 years, and I enjoy it to the extreme! Boarding: As of right now, I board only four different dogs from four families at once. I believe that it's very important to give my clients the most attention needed as possible while their moms and dads are away! I love being able to give one-on-one attention. When dogs are placed in a new environment, it's very important to give them the most comfort possible and to make my home their home away from home! My focus is all on the dogs! I run my boarding business out of my single-family home, and it's comfortable, cozy, clean, and warm! I have a nice, small, gated, and safe backyard for some outdoor air, and I use my garage as a playroom for the dogs to run around in and lounge in! I strongly suggest to bring you and your pooch over for a short visit before deciding to to have me board your special furry friend! My services include the following: * 3 to 4 times a day of long walks * Dog parks (weather permitted) -- I enjoy Pt. Isabel Park, Richmond, CA * Cage free daily (unless for training purposes only) -- During the evening, I do crate them for safety at night. * Crate training * Leash training * Baths before going home; it's free of charge with a three-night stay or longer * Light grooming * Nail clipping * Free night if dropped off on the night before you leave, between the hours of 9 and 11 p.m. with a two-night stay or longer * Pickup or drop-off with an extra small fee in the East Bay Dogs with special needs are okay. Special instructions are okay, as well as medications. I send picture updates on how your pooch is doing daily through email or picture mail to your cell phone! (doggy cam soon) All dogs must be on flea medication at the time of visit. If we see fleas, we will give them a shampoo flea dip and apply advantage for an extra cost of $20.00, to keep our canines happy, healthy and clean of fleas. Boarding Prices: This includes full-day care and overnight stay (Holidays are the same prices; they never increase). We also offer long-term boarding! All dogs must be picked up by 7:00 p.m. on any given day; after 7 p.m., we do charge $10.00 per hour for additional care after 7 p.m. We have the following rates: * Extra large dogs -- $55.00 per day; second is $50.00 * Large dogs -- $45.00 per day; second dog is $40.00 per day * Medium dogs -- $35.00 per day; second dog is $30.00 per day * Small dogs (under 20 lbs) -- $25.00 per day; second dog is $20.00 per day Day Care: We will soon have openings for full-time day care, and we are asking if you are looking for full-time day care soon. About

SIRIUS® currently has over 20 locations throughout the San Francisco Bay Area. SIRIUS® Puppy Training Classes literally redefined and overturned pet dog training. In reality, SIRIUS® created the area of pet dog training. Prior SIRIUS, there were virtually no food lures and rewards, simply no family puppy classes, and not much enjoyment in dog training. Most classes simply taught grownup dogs repetitious on-leash obedience drills. SIRIUS® emphasized the importance of teaching bite inhibition, early socialization, temperament training, and easy solutions for usual and predictable behavior problems, as well as basic household manners. Moreover, SIRIUS® championed user-friendly and dog-friendly dog training—specifically, that training ought be as pleasurable for dogs as it is for possessors, and that training ought only involve quick, effective, and easy steps that are within the capacities of all family members, especially including children. During the '80s, the SIRIUS® Puppy Training video—the all-time best-selling, and the very first dog training video ever produced—helped spread the word about lure/reward, fun and games dog-friendly dog training. In the '90s, SIRIUS® was adapted for television and Dogs With Dunbar turned to be the first hit TV series since Barbara Woodhouse. The program broadcasted on Discovery Channel in Europe, and then in lots of countries all over the world. SIRIUS® established the hallmark for puppy classes, and its concept has been adapted and adopted by most educated trainers. All thanks to SIRIUS®, puppy classes are now instructed throughout the world.

We are Danielle and Dave. We have over 12 years of animal care experience (personal/private/professional). Dogs of any size and breed are never a problem. We use calm, positive, rewarding approaches towards all dogs. Relationship building is key with all dogs and we want them to feel safe, comfortable, and confident. There is a meet and greet that we would like to schedule at your convenience. You will have questions and we will have some questions as well. We offer two time slots to walk your dog. A morning slot and an afternoon slot. Dogs that are unaltered will be accepted if they have an appointment already made with your vet. While your pup is on walks with us we will do basic dog training with them. This is a free service and we believe that these general commands should be instilled in all dogs anyway. If there are any special conditions that your dog has or any commands that you are working on we will follow your key phrases to assist. If you need your dog picked up or dropped off at a different location than usual that is fine. As long as it is in San Francisco. We are very flexable and are here to assist you in any way that we can! Our walks are 2-3 hours long. There is no hourly rate. This is a block of time and it is one of the best value in the Bay Area! We are currently available Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. A second time slot for the afternoon is available: 12:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. For overnight boarding we need a few weeks advance notice. We have discounts for multiple dogs at a same residence. Once we establish a good relationship with your pup, we can trim his nails for free, if he is alright with it. Many people don't know how to trim a dogs nails, but it is a necessity. We are very easy to work with and are very flexable. There is even an option to pay through Paypal. We hope to hear from you soon. Check out our testimonials tab.
